I needed to pick up my parcel, I got lost on the estate so rang up, a very lovely lady answered my call and gave brilliant directions , I finally found them. I was served by a friendly handsome gent , he got my parcel straight away and checked I was able to manage. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm. Keep up the good works chaps x

There's a few good ones but the majority dump the parcel and don't ring the bell or take the photo of the doorstep then ring the bell and quickly jump in the van before you can answer. They didn't read the note on my doorstep. I have the video to prove it. I've had the same courier who did the same thing before. When you ring them and complain they won't send anyone back. They class ringing bell and legging it the same as ringing and giving u a chance to answer I don't think so.

Had to.go.amd retrieve my parcel.after it being in transit.for more.than the allocated time, then turn round and blame staff shortage as to.why it was out for delivery one day, then taken back to depot. Only saving grace is at least the staff did try and help... but in missed my deadline.

Like with lots of other reviews on here, given a time slot, wait around all day. Then received a message saying we were not in to collect parcel. I was sat with a view to the door for the whole time. Obviously they didn't attempt to deliver. Yes it's annoying being given a time slot and then them being unable to deliver. Traffic, drivers behind schedule, vehicle problems. I'd be annoyed but I would understand. Receiving a text message stating we didnt answer the door, which is a lie, is abhorrent. Do better. Hoping to be able to pick up up myself now. 40 minutes drive from where I live.

I WOULD NOT BE SUPPRISED IF MY FOOD Delivery was STOLEN BY THE DRIVERS. This is so suspicious as it has happened 3/4 times. £100 of meat. What do u think 🤔 Mid wales depot ; these guys are completely incompetent, rude, unhelpful and unable to deliver goods. We ordered food and it has not arrived on four occasions. We live in in a rural location, without the delivery we struggled for meals. I will keep this clean. I want to sack the entire crew, receptionist and management. ()&@^%×::;÷s

This week I have had 2 deliveries from APC Overnight. The 1st one very straightforward and the delivery driver was very friendly. The 2nd delivery went missing. On speaking to APC and the company i purchased from the company blamed APC but APC were able to furnish me with all documentation to advise they had never actually received the goods. A substitute was sent and delivered the following day. APC though kept me bang up to date at all times which is how I knew also that the 2nd parcel was missing. What a great company to do business with especially Paul Ashton

Very poor service and very unprofessional! My wife opened the door to the driver and he was giving her attitude due her taking time to open the door. He was very rude and snatched the parcel from her hand and called her stupid when he left. Called up the company and the lady claims that they know the driver very well and he is not rude. I explained that was not the case today and why he would snatch a parcel back when it was already in her hands? They sent the parcel back to the sender without attempting another delivery.

Driver just couldn’t be bothered. Waiting all day for something that was on a next day delivery service. Supposed to be delivered between 16.34 and 18.34. Around 5.20pm I checked the tracking and it appears that the driver had decided he didn’t want to keep working and has gone back to the depot. Hard life hey, leaving people waiting for their deliveries. If you can’t do the job properly find another job.

Had a notification that my package would be delivered between between 14:52 and 16:52 today. Kept tracking it and from 5:15pm onwards I was tracking the van/ driver to the depot. There was no notifications or communication that my item wouldn’t be delivered today- not happy especially as this isn’t the first time this has happened!?!? Luckily this time the items aren’t perishable. This is the only courier this happens with Wouldn’t recommend using (unfortunately it was the choice of the supplier)

I was a little concerned as I had notification for delivery for the following day and was not going to be available. I emailed in and a friendly, helpful, polite and most impressively personal response from an actual person named Paul. How I miss people in a world of I.T. And bot communication. I had a reply early the following day and ensured it would arrive before 10.15. It had arrived by 9.30. A little personal service alongside a good experience is a rare commodity indeed. Really grateful and impressed.

Lady receptionist is terrible with attitude and always saying she’s the manager, never ever once recieved a parcel on time or date and these deliver my parcel unfortunately weekly.. UPDATE ALSO HAD A STINKING UNPROFESSIONAL LYING RESPONSE what a disgusting way to deal with customers they’re sending drivers to their personal homes to! Attitude from every single driver have to go through the same process every single week and not a ounce of common sense to just leave safe company even thinking about changing courier because of such a terrible job these guys are doing, if you also read other reviews not just this it explains itself.. the lady receptionist shouldn’t be manager if she’s speaking to other company customers like that as it’s ruining business for other companies also.

Had a large parcel delivered the week before Christmas in the turmoil resulting from the Royal Mail strikes. Unfortunately the parcel was unable to be delivered next day, but the day after (as the company who I purchased the product from cautioned may happen). Not only were they exceptionally helpful when I emailed them for an update so I could ensure someone was in to receive the parcel (and the online tracking was perfectly up to date), but the delivery driver was courteous enough to knock before bringing the parcel to the door, as the item was clearly visible on the packaging, to ensure no Christmas present surprises would be revealed, this is in stark contrast to other couriers who barely knock at the door. (P.s. I’m posting this review on both their main national address as well as on that of the local office who were so helpful)

They lost about £1000 of product and were extremely rude when we wanted our goods. In response to your reply, you were rude, you did lose my products and they were only returned to us on the Thursday the 22nd, so don't lie. I found 2 boxes placed under my caravan, note on door where to find them and the boxes were badly damaged. You and your company are a disgrace and I will most definitely not use APC when my parcels are going to Cardiff. Your offices were a mess, you had no clue where my products were, which tells me your have zero organisational skills. You should rather apologise, but I guess making excuses is where you are at. Me and my client were out of goods and money, not you. An important part of this entire issue was that a member of your staff told us we can collect it and deliver it ourselves, which we attempted, I drove 2 hours in the icy conditions only for you to tell me you had no idea where our goods were, so you should understand my frustration. The cost of living and you have misplaced about £1000 worth of goods for our client who is needing this product for their shop in Cardiff.

If I could give this lot a zero, I most certainly would! Our parcel, which was a delivery of cheese for our wedding cheese cake, was delivered 24 hours late. Despite several conversations, including one why we hadn’t been notified of a failed delivery, and if we could come to the depot and get it, as it was only ten miles away, they would not prioritise the delivery the day after (wedding day) or accommodate a pick up, despite failing to deliver on the day specified! Needless to say, the bride was in floods of tears the night before. Never again! 👎

Worst Courier company I've ever had to deal with. My parcel was due to be delivered on the Wednesday which I rearranged for the Thursday and had confirmation it had been rearranged. The parcel didn't even go out for delivery on the Thursday and went out for delivery on the Friday. I checked tracking within the given time slot 5 minutes before the end of my time slot the courier was only half way around his route. The parcel didn't turn up and a second email was sent to western couriers asking where it was. Surely I should have been notify there and then why my parcel wasn't delivered. Turns out the driver couldn't finish his route and now the parcel will be attempted to be delivered on Monday ( how is that my problem ) so i now have to wait all weekend because western couriers do not operate saturday and sunday! so far I've not received an explanation as to why it wasn't delivered on my rearranged day of Thursday despite asking multiple times. Terrible service, avoid and all costs! Even of its free through the company I purchased my items from!

Very poor. Same package delivered twice and each time they said there was no answer and I was in. The second time the van was outside and my daughter ran out to stop them and the driver ignored her and drove past. The door was not knocked, we have a knocker that can be heard well in the house. I now have to drive from Cardiff to Bedwas, 14 miles to collect it. 28 miles for a £35 package, it is a Christmas present.

I wouldn't give this one star. They are an atrocious company. Parcels delivered crushed or broken. Never next day. Stayed in for a whole day for them the registered the parcel "intercom no access". Well the intercom didn't ring once, it works fine, I double checked. When I called the company they were rude and accused me of lying about the delivery and that I had stuck a notice on the door and demanded the driver call me on my phone. Neither are true. Probably the worst delivery service of all time. They never answer the phone. Truly awful. Avoid at any and all costs.

Thu 29 Sep 2022 Expecting an overnight delivery today between 10:38hrs & 12:38hrs. It's now 17:25hrs as I type this out and still no delivery ! On the Tracking page, I noticed that at 11:29hrs it states ... "Intercom - No Access". Er ... I'm not surprised, we *don't* have an intercom ! I've not recieved an email or card either stating a failed delivery attempt ! Was given a contact number by a guy in customer services and still *NO REPLY* for over an hour and several attempts to my local depot. I gave up at 17:10hrs ... and according to the online info, they are open until 18:00hrs. Ha ... yeah ! Can I have my delivery please guys ? UPDATE : After contacting APC, they stated that my delivery would be with me the very next day, Friday 30th Sep ... after waiting in all day, it never showed ! The van was approx. a mile from my home and the online tracking froze, it next showed it was back at the depot and tracking was switched off ! I was then given an estimated delivery time on Saturday 1st Oct of between 08:00hrs and 12 noon. My delivery finally turned up at 16:10hrs. THREE DAYS LATE ! I'm just glad it wasn't my usual 'bulk' order of Cheese !!!

Would stay well clear of APC. They sent two messages stating the parcel would be delivered in a specific window, yet each day waiting the parcel never arrived. After reading some reviews I realised what was going and called the depo. Despite a message been sent out in the morning giving me a time of delivery the operator said the driver was sick and my item would be delivered the following day. I decided not to risk it and turned up at the depo to pick it up. Ridiculous to be expected to schedule your day around a parcel that's not even on its way.

Like many others waited for a delivery but received a "sorry we missed you" email. Despite the fact we were home. Ended up driving to the depot to collect our parcels. Dont bother ringing the depot as they don't answer their phones. Ring the apc number but DON'T say your postcode as you'll be re directed to western couriers instead just say nothing and you'll speak to someone at apc direct who will deal with your issues.

Was the parcel delivered (Yes eventually)... an overnight PERISHABLE MEAT contents to be delivered by 12 noon the next day (a Tuesday).. not delivered...Come Wednesday told it would arrive between 5:30pm and 7:30pm.. It didn't arrive. Stayed in ALL day Thursday.. still no delivery...Friday late morning, item was left on the doorstep in the sunshine. Ring them? Option 1 Operations, No answer...Option 2, Customer Service No answer, even tried Option 3 Accounts...no answer. Calls logged eight times. Butcher sending specialist meats finds out quote " we have about 1,500 parcels all over the floor here"...Utterly shocking, third rate, unprofessional. Use someone else.

Western couriers will:- - steal your parcels - drivers are thieves. The turn over of drivers is unreal. They will literally employ someone off the street. - Lose your parcels - arrogant incompetent work force, they will blame the customer is at fault. - Not answer your calls, don’t bother ringing as they ignore incoming calls. - They will speak to you like you’re a P.O.S. Constant blame game culture. It’s a Vile run down depot. Feel sorry for some of the staff. Management are the worst here. - Avoid APC services.

Agreed a contract with them for 1KG 2KG packets and Parcels When it came to billing was charged just over double for the items (around 25 per day) I was told the member of staff had left, I sent my agreement in and confirmed that I was charged incorrectly, I then received a court summons to pay the amount, i had no choice but to pay and have been fighting for a year to get my refund.

I missed my delivery, so rang Western Couriers regarding delivering either the next day or within a couple of days. I spoke to Mark who contacted Dal the van driver - and my item was delivered later that day. What great service. Thank you Mark and Dai, much appreciated. Great service from this company.

Supposed to deliver my bike today, got to delivery 66 with mine being 69, the van literally drove about 2 miles past my house and just went back to the depot. No communication to say not being delivered.

So this is my second review of this totally useless courier. My previous review regarded a birthday cake that was delivered 7 days late... This time I ordered from a vendor and had to pay £10 for next day. The item is small, the size of a standard envelope. Item arrived at this horror show of a place the evening before delivery day. I did not know it was coming with APC, but when I found out I instantly knew it wouldn't be delivered next day. True to my prediction, the item hasn't arrived and I am unable to get any sense on when it will arrive. It seems that APC are offering a next day service that isn't actually next day. I don't understand how a courier as bad as Western Couriers is still in business. I've now taken the decision to check if any order I place is shipped with APC. If it is, I'll move on, even if it costs me more. If only DPD would take over this operation to show them how it's done.

A delivery of 11kg of fresh meat for overnight delivery did not arrive. Nobody answers the phone or any emails I've sent. This was 6 days ago so the meat has either been stolen or is rotting at their depot . So now my elderly parents will have a lonely Christmas with no gift from me. Disgusting business!

I came to store to order and pay for an individual pizza for my 7 year old granddaughter. The guy serving said he couldn't accept cash, only card. I only had cash on me. Very disappointed child.
