The food was terrible…do NOT eat here! For a sausage with chips 10,50…

Very bad...I don't understand how the buses stop here...maybe the worst meal I've ever eaten in my life...I had to run away...!

Food wasn't good. You just can't understand why the Timberbush bus tour stops here for lunch instead of in a rural farm house, for example.

Horrible experience. The food was overpriced and of poor quality. The bacon was burned, there were no eggs, the sausages were cheap, and the baked beans tasted like they had been reheated multiple times. The Tikka Masala sauce was clearly pre-made, and the chicken breast was dry, burned, and seemed to have been frozen and reheated repeatedly. This was the worst food I have ever had. Absolutely disappointing. A shame for Fort William.

Don’t know why we stopped here with the bus tour. Nothing to do around here and the restaurant looks terrible. Tourist trap

Bus tour stopped at this wretched place for 'lunch'. It's a cafeteria-style restaurant, slopping our pre-made gross-looking food. I'll admit my soup didn't taste too bad, although the cold sad roll was disappointing. Gas station food would have been preferable.

Absolutely disgusting food. And for a plate of mac and cheese and "scampi" at 24£ its a flat out rip off. £0.10 for each tiny packet of condiments which were desperately needed to mask the taste. Couldnt finish even half my plate. Left a waxy film in my mouth.

The definition of alright, I guess. I was a little scared when I saw the 2.4 star average rating but I don't think it's that bad. Definitely more of a canteen than a restaurant though. I had the roasted vegetable pasta and while it was slightly bland and the noodles were a little overcooked, I certainly didn't hate it. For what is offered it's a bit pricey though - 9.5£ for the pasta feels like 2 or 3 £ too many. Then again, the pastries looked and the one I had tasted nice.

I tasted fried fish with fries and pasta with vegetables. Don't expect too much from the food . not tasty. I bought a jacket. there is a big clothing store inside. there are good quality waterproof Scottish brand jackets on sale. You should have a look

Had sausage roll with fries and beans. Both the sausage roll and the fries were as dry as the desert. Colleague had scampis, beans and fries didn't taste like anything. For 12 pounds each I don't know. You have to know

I was here in early April 2024 during a 4 day stay in Fort William for some mountain hiking. On a slightly rainy daybit was lovely to visit the shops here, and also the restaurant. They served enjoyable dishes for lunch, the service was very friendly and very smooth. I just had a small wine, a lovely vegetable soup served with a bun, and something sweet as a desert. There was no rush, and I enjoyed talking my time while also having brought something to read. It was spacious, calm, and just very enjoyable.

A crime against cuisine and good-manners. To begin, we stopped off at this location for quick refreshments and some food, as we were on a tour coach with others and were limited by a schedule. We had approximately a 20 minute break until the next stop. We spent a considerable time in the shop and bought just over £100 of goods from the shop adjoining the cafeteria. This left us with about seven minutes for a quick bite and refreshments. We knew that food would take too long and it did not look that appetising either for the high prices. Moreover, my fiancée has a severe nut and gluten allergy, and from the general look of the place I did not trust that it could accommodate such a dietary restriction. In the café bought two Americanos, a side of chips for myself, and a coca-cola and tucked into, mostly, our pack lunch for sheer quickness. I went over to the bin to deposit my rubbish and return the cups and such, as one does. It was there I was then met with the hostile and belligerent attitude of an old, short-haired, and ill-tempered employee berating me with the quip, "You do know you can't eat your own food in here? Pfff". This was while she was obnoxiously scrunching her face up at me and almost growling as she uttered her said quip. Needless to say, we refunded the items purchased in the shop and left due to this. We won't be back and would implore others not to enter this dilapidated, dire, and disrespecting place. The food and service were atrocious too, from what we partook in; the coffees were abysmal, too. Everyone on the bus also hated the food.

Eating sand would have been better. In the land of the fishes, mine tasted like water. My toilet will remember this 10£ dish forever. Tried to fart but sharted instead.

The food itself was… probably premade, so quite boring and bland. Even the desserts were meh at Best. But 1 star for the food, 4 for the nice staff and 5 for a nice view to ‘ enjoy ‘ My food.

What to say … I don't have the words to describe what I "ate". We don't praise English gastronomy but here we hit rock bottom Macaroni cheese that only has a name because of the shape of the pasta To avoid, don't set foot there and instead go buy a sandwich elsewhere

It definitely is a questionable aspect to call this a restaurant, it’s almost as if it’s being run by Electronic Arts where your necessary condiments are a paid DLC. The macaroni cheese is a hate crime and the chips could be thrown into the Red Sea and still be under salted. Overpriced, underwhelming and better left avoided.

Terrible place! The worst food I've ever eaten. Surprised that a bus company lets us eat at this place. Sharpening with the food. They should be able to handle that better.

5p charge for condiments to flavour your bland undercooked frozen overpriced food. Disgusting. Rather go to KFC!

Bland tasteless food. Probably the worst meal I’ve had in Scotland. I’m not sure how a country renowned for its fish can serve such absolutely bland fish and chips. And £6.95 for it.

Cheep food, sausage tastless, bacon thick and chewy, egg deep fried, the rest yery dry. Staff lovely.

Dreadful! Went in for lunch and the ordering was confusing and the staff didn’t make sense. There was no seating available but they took my order regardless, worth mentioning that there was a pile of chairs and tables stacked on up of each other in the corner. I asked about seating availability and was confronted with “erm ..” nothing that made sense, decided to walk out!

I can't give less that one star. The staff are really unhelpful and come across slightly rude. Felt like a hassel asking for salt and pepper.

Very kind staff, good service and a lovely place to have breakfast during your travels around Scotland. Definitely a good stop. 😊

I've give one star because is no option to give no star! Fish overcooked actually burnt Burgers are cold and no taste even the kids dish have a burnt chips (black ) they didn't bother to remove from plate

Cheap and very bad food for parking tourists. Shop looks ok.

Es ist 17:45 Uhr und das Restaurant sowie der komplette Laden mit dem Whisky Store und dem Kleiderladen haben geschlossen. Leider gibt es an dem Gebäude keine ersichtlichen Schilder mit Öffnungszeiten. Nicht nur schade für uns sondern auch für das holländische Pärchen dass wir getroffen haben. Ich würde hierhin nicht noch mal gehen ohne dass die Öffnungszeiten hinterlegt worden sind.

A large tourist shop. It looks like an expensive place to eat when you park in their large carpark but it's not. Stopped here for a late breakfast which was good and excellent value Also purchased a fisherman's sweater at a bargain price, nice and friendly staff as well.
