Fancied a nice cooked breakfast and have walked past Anna's Cafe many times so was my first visit. For £7.99 I had bacon, two sausage, perfect fried egg, tottie scone, tomato, stornaway black pudding and toast. Was perfect served by attentive friendly staff. I will be back.

The coffee is not good, the breakfast menu does not include coffee or tea. 21 euros for 2 breakfasts, greatly overpaid compared to the quality of the products served. The toasts are toasted with margarine.

I’ve never felt so strongly that I need to write a review for a restaurant. This was, by a huge margin, the worst meal I have ever had. It was clear they used the cheapest possible ingredients in every aspect. It was almost comically terrible.

Honestly the food was ok, we had two kebabs and two grilled chicken burgers and all enjoyed them well enough. Definitely not the best food we've had but by far not the worst either, don't think it deserves the 1 star reviews.

I visited this modest café with the simple hope of a quiet tea and scone. The tea, I am pleased to report, was without fault — as any civilised establishment ought to ensure. Alas, the scone, though well-intentioned, had suffered the indignity of the microwave, arriving warm yet tragically fragile. Upon attempt to apply cream and jam, it crumbled into disarray, denying me the satisfaction of a proper spread. A most unfortunate affair, and a reminder that haste is no friend to tradition.

Forget the location. Wait another 1.5 hours to Loch Ness, or take a packed lunch with you. Restaurant disaster, shop disaster. Just a pointless stop. I don't even feel like taking a photo.

Honestly not sure where all of the bad reviews came from? We had wonderful polite service, spent the expected amount for Japanese food and it was honestly delicious. I’m so glad we stumbled upon it and gave it a shot, no signal meant we didn’t check tripadvisor as I would have avoided it otherwise, really glad I had no signal! And better yet, it was dog friendly
