Fantastic fish and chips. They even offered to make a kids portion with a fish that they personally reserves for their own lunch. The chips are well done which, in my opinion, is how they should be. Average price and great taste and service. We will be visiting again.

Always top notch food and service from the staff at West End. I'm always amazed how a few people in a little wooden shed can produce such good food. And people would rather go to McDonald's for some over priced rubbish made by school kids🤷🏼‍♂️

Best chippy I have been to in my life. Proper original fish n chips. Cooked in beef drip. None of this oil rubbish. I highly recommend to anyone who appreciates real fish and chips.

Fish and chips are the best around really tasty and well cooked. I also get fish bits for my cat and he loves it! Staff are really friendly great fish and chip shop def recommend 👍

Poor fish and chips, it used to be worth the drive but not anymore, I ordered a special and was no different to standard portion, and at £5.30 it should be much better, I won't be visiting ever again.

Best chips in calderdale. Lovely and brown not anemic white. Fish is nice and batter is tasty if a little small but then again it's very cheap so all in all great value!

Really nice freshly cooked fish and chips. I like the fact they try Cook fresh but sometimes when you are in a rush it's easier to ring an order through rather than waiting fit it to be cooked while you wait.

Called in today at around 12.30 to get home to some not great fish & chips .chips overdone and soggy and tasteless fish . I would guess the fish is frozen not fresh. It's a shame as I always try to shop locally but won't be back anytime soon

Best chip shop in Yorkshire. Cooked in proper fat. Never pale and insipid food as is the fashion in other establishments. Staff are brilliant!

Excellent, nothing more to say.

Chips were burnt and greasy, fish had no batter on one side and very little on the other, plus it was overcooked and dry. Maybe I was just unlucky but these were truly awful fish and chips.
