West Cornwall Pasty Co in Kingston upon Thames

DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR!!! Was at Twickenham last night and got charged £28.50 for 2 pastrys and 2 drinks. When I challenged the price she said this is the price for all food around here (it is expensive, as you'd expect). 2 minutes later a mate bought the exact same and it was half the price?! I went back to the woman to challenge her again and ask if she had accidentally double charged me in which case can I have half of money refunded and she got very aggressive and hostile?? I asked for my receipt and she told me to "get lost." !!!!! Honestly, AVOID!!!!

Decidimos venir aquí para comer algo de camino al Palacio de Buckingham. Este lugar está dentro de la estación de tren de Victoria, por lo que es perfecto para quienes bajan del tren o se hospedan en un hotel cercano. Probamos dos empanadas ya que esta era nuestra primera vez aquí y queríamos compararlas. Pedimos un tradicional y un pollo y champiñones. Puedo decir honestamente que el pastel tradicional era muuuucho mejor que el pollo. Con mucho gusto ordenaré esto nuevamente en una fría mañana lluviosa en Londres

I've purchased pasties from other locations in the past, and they've usually been okay, but last Monday morning at 9:30am this was not the case. I should've been wary when the server didn't turn up for a few minutes. I ordered the traditional large pasty and walked off to my train. It was pretty dry, the filling was bland and needed sauce to make it better, but I was already on the train at this point and couldn't turn back. The crust was so hard and inedible I had to dispose of it. Luckily it only cost me just over £5 but I'd think twice about going back.

Cada vez que voy a Londres tengo que parar en West Cornwall Pasty Company. En mi reciente viaje de tres días, comí en West Cornwall tres veces (y en Pasty Shop una vez, eso fue un error). ¿Son sus empanadas el final y todo, no, pero la mejor empanada que tuve fue en Truro, aunque en todos los lugares que tuve, Cardiff estaba allí. Tuve tanto el Veggie de harina de trigo como el Queso y la Cebolla, dependiendo de lo que tenían cada vez. Preferí el relleno de Wheatmeal Veggie y la corteza del Cheese and Onion, pero ambos estaban bien. Como vegetariano, mis opciones eran limitadas cada vez, pero siempre había algo que me interesaba comer.

Cuando llego a Londres, me dirijo a West Cornwall Pasty Co. Los pasteles son deliciosos. Sus pasteles calientes son especialmente buenos en una mañana fría. Espero poder comerlos la próxima vez que esté en Londres.
