The good - top quality meet and good portion sizes. The bad - quite a limited menu which is rarely updated (am a member at Wentworth).... The ugly - very formal and very pricey. Although the 2 or 3 course specials are priced sensibly. Summary - Great views of 18th hole is the east cost. Great for special occasions.

This is a cheaper menu than the main dining restaurant but since we have 3 teenage kids it is more suitable. Burgers and fries (£16.50) for them. I had a decent strip loin steak (£22). Excellent wine list and reasonably priced. The service was 10/10 but the room was otherwise empty which was a shame - although we made our own fun. As it was my birthday a little cake thing and candle was brought out which was a nice touch. I thought it was very good value.

Visited the Grill after a recent major renovation of the Club. Went with high expectations after enjoying many nice visits to the previous Grill. It had been my favourite restaurant venue. The new offering fell well short of expectations with a very limited choice of menu and expensive prices. Cheap furniture and amateur staff. Struggling to see why we would choose this place again when there are so many lovely places nearby at reasonable cost.

As members we use the grill on a regular basis, especially the Sunday lunch and it’s great but at the temporary club house it’s really lacking something. The building can be cold and the atmosphere is really lacking. The staff are friendly as usual though not particularly attentive which they used to be in the previous club. Maybe it the change of environment but hopefully when they move back to the new clubhouse things will get back to normal.

. Pero no entrometido amable o prisa. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

We went to Wentworth Grill to enjoy a family dinner/late Mothers Day meal with our daughter who was back from Uni. Welcoming staff, who could not do enough for us, in delightful surroundings. Great care taken to produce a nut free, vegetarian meal for our daughter. We all enjoyed a Tasting Menu and all courses were excellent. Will definitely return more often for any upcoming future occasions.

I had not been to this restaurant for 3 years & what a shock! I was diagnosed with food poisoning following my visit here. We informed the restaurant manager the next day (I wanted to ensure that no one else suffered) who was dismissive & eventually two weeks later informed us by telephone that they did not have a problem & accepted no responsibility & did not even offer an apology let alone some sort of token compensation. If I had not been so ill for three days I would not have written this review but I should add that the restaurant was very empty, only four tables on a Friday evening! The staff were inexperienced & seemed unsure as to their duties the whole experience was pretty poor. It felt as though there is no management or ownership here.

Pretty good, some of the classic Ivy dishes made the new menu. Decor is good too, it's a shame the members are so vulgar but otherwise its ok

I have been a member for 15 years and unfortunately. the quality has been going downhill. Lunch is a far better option than dinner, particularly if you can sit outdoors and enjoy the view. Having said that, the lower prices on the lunch menu shouldn't justify a drop in standards. The dinner menu tries too hard. If you don't like game, seafood or exotic dishes, you are going to have a tough time. On our last visit, we ended up having to get up and leave. The Child menu was gone. Despite the Club offering burgers in the bar, the manager wouldn't allow the younger ones to have the burger (and yet having the Grill food in the bar was OK). My wife simply wanted grilled fish. The head Chef came to the table but wasn't willing to accommodate any option other than what was on the menu. We certainly won't be going back for dinner. For the best food in Virginia Water, head to La Piazzetta, the n.1 on tripadvisor. Alternatively, for a more upmarket setting, Casa Nova is a close second.

The Sunday lunch here used to be without equal but how standards have fallen. The starters and the desserts are still excellent but the main course is so poor.Sad poor quality cuts of pork and beef and the poor guy serving doesnt know how to carve and has a blunt knife with which he hacks away. The veg is no better with acauliflower cheese thats all sauce and no cauliflower.Just very disapointing

Stayed in a room at the club and wanted supper but the room was empty - no atmosphere so have a miss. The pianist played alone.... Had breakfast in here next morning and a great spread is offered and good service. Again empty - such a shame as this place used to buzz and been like this last few visits.... Suggest a major overhaul of the room and menu would be a start - no longer a destination venue....

If you get the chance to visit Wentworth Grill at Wentworth golf club, take it. The food is of great quality, although the selection is limited, which I think is a plus. Try the chateaubriand, well worth it and not too expensive. Start with cocktails, try the Wentworth Sunrise, my wife's favourite. I can never understand why it's not full every night. Highly recommended.

Everything was spot on and the bill wasn't too bad either. I would certainly recommend even if you are not a golfer.

On the night before the big Brexit vote we found ourselves at Wentworth. Perhaps to remind me why I would be voting to exit the EU. Wentworth is thoroughly British and so perfect with it.Room lovely overlooking the beautifully manicured course. Superb pre-dinner cocktails on the terrace with fabulous views and then an incredible dinner, with superb wine at a surprisingly reasonable price. The staff were so friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Must mention, Tom, Jamie & Hannah who looked after us so well over dinner. We don't even play golf, but appreciated a classically British mini break. Would not hesitate to recommend.

disappointing lunch....again! I'm amazed at the other reviews. If you like cold mashed potato and uncuttable chicken and struggles to get the attention of waiting staff then this place is for you. I went with two members who both questioned why are we here again?

Slightly biased review as I live here and am a member, but the Grill is always a superb experience, whether for lunch or dinner. My favourite time to go is when the weather is warm and tables are laid outside. Consistently excellent food.

The restaurant wasn't very busy but still has a good atmosphere. Service was good but they forgot one of the side orders but this was quickly rectified. Food and wine were excellent but as I wasn't paying I can't comment on the price

Have been a few times and am always impressed with the staff throughout the entire club as well as the restaurant. As a non member it's impressive to feel as welcomed as they do; something a lot of other clubs could pay attention too.Food wise, menu is frequently changing reflecting fresh and seasonal ingredients but always presented as well balanced and interesting choices. Service impeccable and well priced in line with 5 star establishments.Run by same people as The Ivy, it shows and is good for it.

As part of the Wentworth club, this restaurant feels private even though it is open to anyone. Service is good, food is excellent and there is no rush. A great place to dine with friends or on business. Neutral on kids, but the Sunday brunch is also very good and covers a wide range of tastes.

recently was at a retirement dinner for one of my business partners at this very classy restaurant at wentworth golf club . Difficult to know how you could improve on the food , service, wine or atmosphere. Difficult to get in as you need to go with a member but this place is just excellent. Because of the large numbers between us we probably tried most of the menu and there was only praise for the presentation an quality of the food. Puddings are great

Wentworth Golf Club is a fantastic placeFull of history and prestige and was host to an offsite meeting for our management teamWe decided we would have dinner here too and went with the set menu optionThe first time I ate here was during Royal Ascot a fair few years back for lunch and it was terrific So with high expectations I was disappointed with what I hadThe salmon starter was basic - M&S could do betterThe Guinea Fowl main was like reconstituted frozen chickenAnd finally the 'creme brûlée' was more sponge pudding with charcoal topping with a side of something you would put on a bird table in the winter To top it off, one of our colleagues had to wait till we all finished our meal before he received his as they forgot to issue the order to the kitchen I'm sure it can be better - but to succeed, you need to be consistently good

I have recently had a big birthday party here in the Ryder & Curtis Cup rooms. Seating 50 people very comfortably and excellent space for the dance floor and small bar area. We had a singer who we organised privately but she was amazing and did classics, 80's and current music a real trooper and a brilliant performer. The food was sensational and the chef tweaked the banqueting menu to incorporate some of our favourite dishes. Jo in events was organised, professional and friendly in organising the party and all the staff pulled out all the stops to ensure the evening ran smoothly. Best , best party, lots of dancing and plenty of space to sit and rest on the private terrace. A great evening with just the right amount of people. Wentworth sure know how to put on an event. We would like to say a big thank you to all the Wentworth team in providing seamless service.

Of course you expect to pay high prices for food here, unfortunately the problem was a real inconsistency of the dishes. Started with a superb Lobster and Spinach cannelloni, topped off with excellent mature cheddar and Parmesan. Quite a tricky combination, so I dug in a removed the lobster and it was very tasty, however there was only 4 very small pieces for £18. Next was red mullet on a bed of ratatouille; poorly executed with no seasoning and far too much oil, the "bed" of veg can best be described as a very small single---mopped up in 1 spoonful. Sides of New potatoes again with no seasoning and no butter, just some flakes of parsley. By now it was late and they took it back and were not too excited about me having an alternative, so we settled for a boring cheese plate of 4 very ordinary cheeses, although served with delicious fruit bread and chutney. Service was crisp and formal, not overtly friendly and our young server was unable to answer some simple questions about the wine, so we settled on a decent £56 Pouilly Fume. If I was staying in the hotel I would eat there again, however I certainly would not travel to eat here.

I entertained guests every day during the PGA and we had lunch in the Grill Room each day. On Thursday and Friday they offer a shortened menu for 5 or so choices for each course. It's the same menu both days. The choice is reasonable. The service and quality of food was very good. I had over thirty guests in total and not one of them had a bad word - which is a first ! One Saturday and Sunday they switch to a buffet. This is very good with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes. Whilst it is good it is not quite the same as having table service - hence my four stars. The first two days were far better far better. As you can imagine during the PGA it is busy and with so many people wondering around back and forwards to the buffet it didn't quite work. Having said that the PGA is only 4 days of the year and I wouldn't hesitate to return given the overall quality of food.

Can't fault anything. All four of us enjoyed each course of our dinner - we think it has got better since the last time we went. Veg sides are a bit too small - would be easy to fix - but I am being picky.Must make sure we go more often

Decided to try flaming grill in chertsey while visiting the area for work. Firstly 5 star food hygiene rating, holding the bar high as it should be guys. I ordered a small chicken shish kebab, all salad with chilli and garlic mayo. The kebab itself wasn’t my personal preference but that is not to say it was bad because it wasn’t, the chicken was cooked beautifully and had a lovely chargrill taste and marinade. My only real criticism is that my request was not really listed to properly even when writing it down. I asked for lots ( extra ) cabbage and 🌶️ and also lots of garlic mayo and chilli sauce and as you can see from the photo this didn’t happen. People specifically ask for their kebabs in a particular way because it’s what makes it perfect for them and keeps them coming back time after time, something to bear in mind guys. Overall a great kebab shop and nice and clean 👍🏻
