A very well maintained and secure private estate with The Golf club at it's center. Extraordinary housing around with a large amount of Security around. Outstanding facilities and impeccably courteous staff.

Went to Wentworth golf club for BMW championships great day booked in to the Moët champagne lounge looked after us well with breakfast and lunch and all drinks included great place for a base whilst slipping of from time to time to watch how the pros do it 👌

Lugar hermoso, limpio, personal amable y un ambiente muy agradable, apto para todos, especialmente después de una actividad. Sólo me alojé por un café y fue estupendo café con una sonrisa y un pequeño regalo. Mis amigos se quedaron para almorzar, que parece y huele genial. La próxima vez.

Visité por primera vez, con unos amigos para cenar. La comida era excelente y el servicio era muy bueno. La decoración es muy especial. Volveré.

Recientemente tuvimos un almuerzo entre semana cumpleaños familiar en Wentworth como lo han hecho durante tantos años anteriores. El ambiente es estupendo, con una elegante decoración y una preciosa vista al campo de golf. La diferencia este año es que el servicio fue excelente, atento y sonriente sin ser exageradas y la comida era bastante excepcional. Lo que fue una ocasión especial para todo el mundo en la fiesta! Como familia hemos estado yendo a Wentworth durante más de cincuenta años - esperamos poder continuar en el futuro.

The whole experience here is amazing, we attended a wedding recently and was amazed at how well organised everything was, how on top of everything the staff were and for such prestige place how welcoming and obliging staff were.The food was wonderful but as a wedding guest it was a chosen menu so we had what was chosen but we couldn't fault it which is so rarely the case for large parties of diners.Nothing was too much trouble and it was a beautiful location and a really memorable day.

All I can say is excellent place, brilliantly organised in all respects. Logistically superb, an excellent day all round.

My son got married here last Saturday and it could not have been better. Nothing was to much trouble, all of the staff members were polite, had a smile on their faces and were attentive without being obtrusive. The food was fantastic, I have never had a piece of steak as tender as that. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The only slight down side was the decor needs a bit of attention, but I believe this is all being taken care of very soon.

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is good but for such a prestigious establishment it should be better. The menu lacked vital information I.e the scallops were fried in breadcrumbs, no mention of this. Gluten free bread options were the same bread you'd get at the gluten free section of Tesco. Wine was amazing, main course was great and dessert was fabulous. Overall not a negative experience, but just expected more.

Lovely Sunday lunch here, have enjoyed eating here a few times with members but it seems like we are the only people that dress smartly for Sunday lunch, everyone else dresses as if they are in a pub!.

We recently attended a Wedding at the Wentworth Club. The surroundings were beautiful. The waiters / waitresses were friendly, helpful and polite. The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. The only problem we had was upon leaving. The road back to the car park was very poorly lit. In addition to this there were no signs that we noticed to guide guests back to the exit / main road. This may sound petty but the venue is set in amongst 700 acres of parkland which was pitch black upon leaving so is very easy to lose your bearings.

WENTWORTH WEST COURSE I had the fortune to be able to play at Wentworth on the West Course - The BMW PGA Matchplay course with my two sons and a close friend. From the moment we turned into Wentworth Drive, we knew that we were somewhere very special. The entrance and car parking is clearly marked and we had no problem parking the car, locating The Golf Academy or all of the other facilities. We wandered over to the Club House and Pro Shop and everyone that we saw, both staff and members or visitors were courteous, polite and we exchanged the good old British Greeting of Good Morning. Upon arriving at the Clubhouse Entrance, concierge staff spoke to us to direct us to where we needed to go. The Pro Shop is as good as you will get anywhere and again the staff went out of their way to take us to reception to book us in. There was none of this ’ Just through there mate and find the reception desk on the left’. Everything is 100 percent professional. Back outside we were stood on the entrance when Tom Godwin The Golf Academy Manager and Club PGA Professional arrived with no other than Anton du Beke ( Dancer and 6 handicapper) in a buggy having just completed their golf round. I have to say that four country lads were immediately star struck but in fairness Anton spoke to us in passing. I met Tom when I had my TaylorMade Performance Lab MAT-T fitting in the TaylorMade Performance Lab the month earlier and we struck up a friendship and we had a brief chat. We then went over to the Range, The Short Practice Area and Putting Green before our T off time. At every part of this, a member of staff spoke to us and directed us to the various facilities. Now it was time to T off and we met with the Starter with a South African accent - apologies I did not notice his name - who made us feel very welcome, gave us our Scorecards, Pin Position cards for that day and invited us to take Pencils, Tees, Ball Markers and a Engraved Pitch Repair Lifter. All very nice mementos. He then gave us advice on where to play our first shot and how the ball should run out if we took his advice. There was light hearted banter between us all and this really helped to settle the nerves as with all First Tees at Major Golf Courses there is always an audience. We all teed off, our ball going into the distance more or less in the correct direction and our Wentworth Experience had began. The course is magnificent, and memories of certain holes that you have seen on the Tele come flooding back. The bunkers are enormous, relative to the general sized course bunkers on home courses, and with their very petal shape design stand large and proud to capture your errant shot. When you are in them they look bigger again, as you are stood so low down, however the ball generally will settle at the bottom and this gives you a chance to play a recovery shot. There are also little ditches to catch you out and these are unplayable as they are to narrow and deep to play a shot, so you have no choice but to take a drop shot under penalty. If you played the course regularly of course you would know where these were and adjust your shot accordingly. On many of the holes I said to my playing partners - ‘Just look back’ - as you sometimes don’t really see the contours of the land that you have walked and the sights were amazing. The ground contours were much larger than you would have expected. At the halfway house, after 8, the reception from the staff was warm, friendly and again with some light banter. The greens have considerable swathes and although they were good, true and quite fast they were not too lighting fast for us mere mortals. Luckily for us, our home course always has fast greens around 11- 12 Stimp readings so this was not a problem… only the green contours were!!! For me there was 2 Signature holes, 8 and 18 and I was pleased to Par 8 and Bogey 18. Hole 16 is stroke index 1, which I hit the flagstick with my chipped third shot only to then go 4 feet past!! All good memories. Any Complaints… About the course… None. However the Course Marshall came to us as we were leaving hole 5 to ask us to speed up because there was a two ball on a Buggy approaching us from behind, But we were a four ball walking and carrying.. They should catch us up!!! …. And if they did, we would let them through. However, they never did catch us and we stayed in front of them and never once did they get to their balls before we moved off. He could have been a bit more tactful with his words. Personally ….Only that you can not take it all in and savour the moment in one round. You really need to play it twice. Time taken - 5hours exactly, but it is 6716 yards off the yellows and the course is not easy to play and score to your handicap. You do need to give each shot due consideration. Course card gives a guide of 4hours 20. Would I Play the West Course again??? Given the opportunity - Definitely. It is not cheap for the average golfer but like other major venues it is a experience to play and remember. Now to the 19th - The Clubhouse - Changing Rooms, Showers etc were perfect with towels provided. We then had lunch on the terrace outside The Burma Bar. Beer - London prices but the meals were very well priced. 2 Fish and Chips and 2 Chicken burgers with Portabello Mushrooms, Gorganzola cheese and fries + 4 pints for £ 60. Superb quality, presentation and Value for Money. Then came our final bit of Star Gazing. As we were eating, a drinks party was going on at the adjoining terrace. My youngest spotted Sir Nick Faldo with his wife strolling past and when we left the clubhouse, the assembled party of about 60 guests included Tom Watson, Berhard Langer, Fred Couples, Gary Player, Mark O’ Meara, to name just a few. It was a who’s who of golfing greats and legions. We did not play as well as we could of on the day and that was partly down to the strength and quality of the course. That did not detract from the fact that we had A Wonderful Day and a Wonderful Experience. None of us had any complaints whatsoever. Finally, at the beginning of this review I mentioned the PGA Club Pro Tom Godwin, who fitted me with a set of TaylorMade RSi1 clubs the previous month. I can not recommend Tom Godwin highly enough plus The TaylorMade Performance Lab with MAT-T technology. If you are thinking of changing your clubs or need a Golf Professional to give you lessons then give Tom Godwin a ring on 01344-846306. This is a true review and not a sales promotion. Restaurante do clube de golfe Wentworth em Surrey. Comida deliciosa, mas com especial menção para o "Sticky Toffee Pudding" servido com uma pequena concha de "Honeycomb Icecream". Imperdível!!! Já valeria a viagem. Como jantamos no início da noite e o restaurante fica próximo dos campos de golfe, os mosquitinhos do lado de fora do restaurante podem ser um tanto chatos após o jantar.

Sirly reception staff and disappointing service. Avoid at all costs! I would not return to this club ever.

Simply stunning! The grounds to this prestigious club are simply stunning. The building is amazing, a beautiful castle/large stately home. The facilities are very good and the staff are superb. A really exquisite venue to hold a classy wedding ceremony and reception.

Wentworth is a must for all you serious golfers, the three courses are in beautiful condition, the whole place is inviting and so smoothly run, all of their staff are so friendly, we love every minute of our time there.

With its reputation and location, I suppose it's easy for Wentworth to justify their somewhat exorbitant prices. It's a little short sighted really for as the saying goes, once bitten .......! Next time we'll just be more careful.

We went with our friends who are members for breakfast. The dining room is simply beautiful with a wonderful view over the greens and a real pleasure to dine in. The service was first class as was the buffet breakfast. Also, given the location and quality of the venue, the cost was very reasonable. We loved everything about Wentworth and look forward to going again

To be fair we were guests of a member. Wentworth is definitely worth a visit: it is immaculate - and expensive. Golfing members can pay about £12000 pa. On the other hand its lunchtime restaurant was very reasonably priced. My 'garlic problem' reared its head - why oh why do the English put garlic into everything these days ( The French don't ). So finally the manager came and explained what I would indeed be able to eat without an ambulance being called - not a lot of choice as it happened. But it all was very proper and polite as you would expect in such a fine location... but whoever puts garlic into a bluberry sauce??!A few years ago the fare would have been rated good, but UK standards have risen and this was average, especially given the location - tasty ... but average. We were left to eat unhurried for a couple of hours and the service was good,

I paid a huge amount of money for a table to a charity golf day here.I had a table of 12, the room we were all in was very dated like the whole building, the service was terrible, they couldn't open the bottles brought to the table, the que for drinks was massive and we couldn't get any in the bar area.The food was terrible, the fish cake starter was clearly brought in and the chicken main was so dry it was inedible. I understand this was a big event but sadly there is no excuse.

member of the club so eat here occasionally but this restaurant deserves to be highly rated as it consistently delivers well presented tasty and interesting dishes with flawless service in a dining room with well spaced tables and the quiet tinkle of a pianist to entertain.Ideal for a quiet dinner for 2 or a meal for adults probably a bit formal for younger children

We had our daughter's Christening lunch here and the food, service , ambiance was impeccable! We had the conservatory where we overlooked the course and also away from the main dining area so it was like having our own private room.I dealt with a fantastic lady called Caroline who organised place cards and the overall service. She was excellent all throughout from the day I enquired about the venue to the actual event. What an asset to her team! The servers Jana & Paolo were ever so polite & courteous and so efficient.I cannot fault this place. Our family & friends had such a fabulous afternoon.So if you're looking for a venue for a small event look no further you really won't be disappointed.

Went to Wentworth Golf Club restaurant with my husband as guests of our niece and nephew as part of 45th wedding anniversary celebrations. Such lovely surroundings and the clubhouse is full of golfing memorabilia that thrilled my husband! We went on a Tuesday evening and the dinning room only had another four tables of diners at the time so not to much hub bub. There was live music via a gentleman on the piano- nice touch.The food was - as to be expected - excellent.All four of enjoyed 3 courses. Starters chosen were soup, cod cheeks and crispy duck. I had fish for main course, hubby has Venison, niece had mushroom risotto and her husband had lamb. Desserts picked were lemon crème brulee, cheese and biscuits, chocolate fondant with beetroot ice cream and apple and custard pie. All delightful!!We adjourned to the lounge for our coffees and were surprised with a plate inscribed with Happy Anniversary and containing 12 home made chocolates, coconut ice and fudge. I believe one can only go to this restaurant if a Wentworth club member or a guest of a member but if you get the opportunity I would thoroughly recommend you take it!

Nous avons découvert le Wentworth Grill lors d'un déplacement dominical au Wentworth Golf. Le restaurant est digne du standing du club : salle claire, spacieuse et bien décorée, le tout dans une ambiance feutrée très agréable. Service en buffet avec de très belles présentations, des mets de haute qualité très savoureux. En résumé, nous avons passé un merveilleux moment dans un endroit superbe où le service client est au top.

A members only club and restaurant Or go as a guest of a member). Excellent restaurant with A la Carte and set menu options, reasonably priced but with great presentation and service. This is not a busy- buzzing place, but nice for a quiet or family meal.
