Welcome in Waltham Forest

over an hour late and the food that was sent out again was refried :/

Went with them as they have solid scores and had a delivery time of 45mins. 1hr 45 we had food delivered, kept getting later. The chicken is cheap, rice was good, sweet and sour sauce bland, wouldn’t order with them again.

Won’t be ordering from here again. Couldn’t even get through to restaurant and Just Eat just as unhelpful

Good points: Decent portions, cheaper than most places, and quick delivery BUT Special fried rice & chow min - Lacked flavour Spring rolls - Tasted odd Chill shredded beef - Looked funny colour but had the best flavour Overall, i’ve defo had better, and considering how quickly it came and how it tasted felt like chances were it may not have completely fresh! First time ordering from here, I would try again, maybe when I know it’s busy and see if it any better, who knows!

Special fried rice was burnt, pork balls were overcooked and the crispy wontons were flavourless

The food was very late although hot when when it arrived. The chicken balls were lovely, the fried rice was very salty and the omelette was bland. Unfortunately I won’t be ordering from them again.

I did not receive my food I would like a refund I went to the restaurant and was told the food would be 25 minutes more that would bring it to 2 hours waiting total unacceptable I’m never going to use just eat agin and I’m not going to that restaurant agin why are they taking orders if they can’t handle them

So quick and so yummy. I’ve struggled to find a decent Chinese in the area, they have all gone downhill when once were good but this had good reviews and did not disappoint. Recommended and my new favourite.

The duck chow Mein with the thin noodles was just amazing. The shredded duck with pancakes was perfect. The rice noodle prawn dish was a little bland and the additional hoisin sauce wasn’t actually hoisin sauce. That being said, the rest of the food was so bang on that we have decided to make this our regular

I ordered a few items for my girlfriend's birthday and the meal was fantastic. The chow mein was slightly smokey and wasn't oily, like with a lot of takeouts and the chicken was cooked to perfection. There was a mild hiccup with our order that the restaurant remedied immediately. The staff were friendly over the phone and they even gave us a complementary bottle of 7up after I called them! Will definitely be ordering from here again and would highly recommend to anybody who wants Chinese food.

This was a delicious meal, and I was really impressed by the quality of the food as a whole.

i ordered special chow mein but got special fried rice instead.

rice was oily ribs were not nice salt and pepper prawns did not feel like there was any prawns in there beef in black bean was ok

Only went to them because Fu Lam was closed ! Never to return again, late food and terrible quality. Shame.

My local Chinese - open again after a lockdown with great food as usual!! (Slightly bit more salt could be added to the food for more depth of flavour), but I think - best Chinese in Walthamstow - I’m glad you’re back!!!

Piping hot, perfectly cooked food. If there is a slight criticism it's that you can't taste oyster sauce in the chicken dish. 5*

Thoroughly enjoyed it once I'd got over the texture of the chicken. Beef in barbecue sauce particularly wonderful. Highly recommended. Definitely ordering again

Food wasn’t too bad for the price, special chow mein had loads of meats which was nice for once, little bland though. Rice was nice, little more egg would be good. Only thing I wasn’t happy about is the vegetable spring rolls - they was practically empty?! Nice and crispy without any filling? PrWn cracks were prefect, nice and thick and crispy as they should be. Overall better than most, few improvements and it might just be my new fav chinese! 👌

Ordenó a través de la casa hambrienta y se proporcionó un tiempo para entregar la comida. Fue 20 minutos tarde. Cuando llamé para preguntar dónde estaba y por qué hubo una demora, el dueño dijo que estaban ocupados y que no tenían tiempo para llamar a la gente, así que espere a que coman bien. ! Sin disculpas ni forma de aportar valor al negocio. La comida era horrible e incluso si fue entregada a tiempo, hubiera dicho que era horrible. No tiene sabor y se cocinan verduras y fideos. No estaría comprando de ellos o del sitio web nuevamente.

Me encantó el chow mein. Fue muy sabroso, muy bien cocinado y lleno de sabor chino. Aunque los precios son caros Todavía es uno de los mejores platos chinos en walthamstow. Recomendaría este lugar a la gente de Walthamstow, estudiantes de Waltham Forest College y todos.

Crispy duck was good, yellow bean sauce a little gooey but taste was good. Would use them again.

the chicken they gave us was red inside and the chocolate dim sum was disgusting it had no flavour

if your hungry don't order from here ordered food at 4.50 pm still waiting its now 6.46 told them to keep it what a good impression they gave as this was our first and last time ordering with them.................

Great food. I recommend the Singapore Fried Rice. They also gave us a bottle of coke for free, which was totally a surprise and definitely appreciated. Will order again for sure.

Rice was average. Everything else tasted old and stale. Delivery lovely. Poor and tasteless cripsy shredded beef Sweet and sour pork was like rubber and smelled weird. Tasted like washing up liquid. Was meant to be 3 char sui buns and we only recieved 2 and a weird bun

Food was as good as usual, delivery was late this time round.

Couldn't cut chicken with a knife it was so over cooked / hard.. (probably reheated).. Prawn toast was fried twice.. rock hard and insanely greasy.. £30 down the drain.

I was informed that the delivery guy met with an accident. and so was told that the meal would be delivered 30 minutes later but it was 1 hour later. All 7 dishes were tasteless and definitely not worth £30. Definitely not going to reorder from them ever again.

The food was horrendous- everything was covered in oil.

Rice was horrible sticky and cold the pork was horrible the sweet and sour chicken was hard the noodles was horrible... not ordering from u again!

Always good food from Welcome and generous portion size. Very happy with the service.

The pork was old, probably refrigerated and underdone....you could feel the cartilage and veins.... Had one bite and that was it. The. Black bean sauce was just water with some sludge on the bottom of the container. Also has sweet chili chicken witch was a bit better but still far from what I would call good. The egg fried rice was just one fairly solid block.... Will not order again sorry.

Ordered vegetarian chicken, just received real chicken - a serious allergy risk. Apologetic on the phone, but then told me it would be an hour to wait for the food. Really shocked as received nothing but good food and service before this.

Dim sum was lovely, chicken satay was not

Food arrived after an hour and 40min. Only one dish out of 4 tasted ok. Everything else was very bad

The delivery was perfectly in time. Food was very good. I would recommend the chicken satay, it was delicious! Also the sesame prawn toasts. Big portions. Good food. Awesome service. Thank you.

Food was awful quality, the prawns, chicken & lamb tasted old& reheated, the Satay was oily, the Mongolian lamb tasted like mutton& was very grizzly.

Love this place. Food always comes hot and on time. I'd keep ordering from this place just for their dim sum.

Late delivery poor quality food generally a waste of money.

Poor service I felt like they were just ticking a box she didn't even apologise for the wait just took the food out put it on the counter didn't ask my name nothing and went back to her other orders. The food was tasteless I usually order from here and being close to where I live found I convenient but I'm not going to pay for tasteless for and bad service I can get that for free. And please don't reply and tell me about moderation and excessive seasoning cause trust me the food had no taste when compared with previous orders

It was probably the quickest delivery I have ever had. The food was fresh and steaming hot. Tasted beautiful. I will definitely order from you again.

Food is always delicious, hot and delivered quickly. Wouldn't get Chinese food from anywhere else.
