Welcome Chinese Take Away in Blackpool

Ordered Chinese at 5.30 in evening, by 7 pm still nothing after phoning once and being told it was next one out and the traffic was bad! At 7pm we got the rudest Chinese man ever on phone who said we would have to wait! really after 90mins! If you haven't got the driver's don't take the orders!

We both visited this Chinese takeaway while staying in the area, the shop appeared to be clean but required upgrading, the staff were pleasant and helpful the food was fresh and delicious and arrived quickly.

They took an order and told me it would be 45 minutes for delivery. I had been told that it was worth waiting for. 1 hour and 15 minutes later it arrived, it wasn't what I asked for. I called, they said they didn't sell what I asked for, I asked why they took the order. I was told that I didn't order what I said. I must be a moron!

Good local shop. No problem with the food and prices reasonable. Once we received wrong food but it was put right, no quibble.

Just spoken to the manger of this place. Who basically called me a liar. Told me I couldn’t have my money back and shouted at me down the phone when I told him about the white hairs found in my meal. To let everyone know check the meal before eating it. The manager told me to “ do what the hell you want “ outrageous, disrespectful attitude and to be called a liar is disgraceful.

None of the food tasted as it should. Salt and chilli chicken dry, and absolutely covered in dry chilli flakes. Ordered salt and pepper chips and received chilli chips, again just covered in dry chilli flakes. Crispy chilli beef was vile, and the sweet and sour sauce tasted nothing like it should. Do not order from here!!!!

The WORST Chinese I have ever eaten. The spring rolls haven’t even been cooked? The ‘salt & chilli’ chicken was nothing like I’d tasted before and the ‘crispy shredded beef’ was definitely NOT crispy and soaked in vinegar by the taste of things.. the only decent thing on the plate was the chips, if you can call them chips. The sweet & sour chicken was also VILE. Never again DO NOT order from here unless you want to waste your money & have half cooked food. No taste to the food what so ever, I’m actually shocked how bad it was!! I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog I had to bin it!!!!!!

Although good food, I really wanted vegetable fried rice but can’t eat egg as I am vegan. Although able to fry rice at any other Chinese without the egg, they refused to do so. This made me sad.

This place was recommended to me by friends who use them all the time. The fact that they only use this Chinese was reason enough for me to try it! I wasn’t disappointed at all . They let me pay by card (I never have cash on me) so that was a great start. The delivery was rapid .I ordered a variety of food and we polished it all off and enjoyed every mouthful . My nephew is really fussy with his food but the beef chow main was to die for he said. It’s really hard to find a consistently good Chinese here so I will be using Welcome again. Well done Welcome !!

Food always hot and tasty never had a bad meal,staff helpful and pleasant ,large spring rolls are good.

Not going to prolong this but the food was rank any my special fooyoung since when was the meat spam FFS never going back all people in Blackpool area please don't waste your money

Having used the Welcome for many, many years I can only say from my experiences of their food that is is consistently superb. Always delivered hot, fresh, good portion sizes and prompt. Our favourites, amongst others, are the curry, which I always request extra hot for that added spice, and chicken foo yeung. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Awful. The worst chinese i have ever had. I ordered king prawn satay and egg fried rice. I got a plate of same tasting off flavoured muck

The Welcome is, in our opinion, the best Chinese in the area. The food is all delicious, piping hot and delivered quickly. The Welcome was recommended to us and we have never used anywhere else since. Give it a try.

Zupa z twarda kukurydza i kawalkami kurczaka jakby dodany z innej potrawy.tak samo bylo z sosem kurczak curry ,jakby kurczak byl gotowany osobno i dorzucony do sosu ,w tym kawalki cebuli twardej.brzuch mnie rozbolal tylko po tym daniu.nigdy wiecej.

Excellent tasty food,love the large spring rolls .Very friendly staff food always hot.Sweet and soar chicken huge bits of chicken and nice tasting sauce

Mi hija quería tratarme pero estaba demasiado frío y húmedo para ir a nuestra costumbre China así que fuimos a este lugar. Craso error. Mi hija pidió la dulce y agria bolas mixtas. Nada hizo mención de mariscos, pero cuando ella sacó un enorme langostino, estábamos muy sorprendidos al decir lo menos. Resultó la mitad de las pelotas eran de gambas, tuvimos suerte ella no es alérgico. Mi comida estaba la carne y champiñones. Nos dieron dos arroz frito y salado, fue que era casi como un bloque de sal de chuparse. Mi hija sólo podía comer menos de la mitad de su comida y sólo pude comer la mitad. Qué desperdicio de dinero. No comer de nuevo aquí.

Pedido a través de comer solo, entrega inmediata con orden correcta. 5 estrellas comida. Montones de pan de gambas en la porción. Salsa de curry era muy sabroso! La comida era buenísima. Se lo recomendaría a amigos y familiares. 4 * revisión debido a la salsa no socios sabor dulce y amarga. Pero la comida era estupenda, de lo contrario.

Been a regular customer here for over 30 years and never ever had a bad meal. Always friendly, efficient, and tasty prope Chinese food, can't recommend them enough.

have used this takeaway for many years never had a bad meal yet great service food always hot and fresh my favorite is sweet and sour cantonese style love there currys they do delivery for locals which is only 1 pound staff are nice and welcoming to

As usual a lovely tasty Chinese takeaway. We especially enjoy the shrimp curry,beef in black bean and the beansprouts but have never had a bad meal from here. The service is great,very quick and lovely polite staff.

I agree with the 5 star reviewer - I've been ordering food from here for over ten years and the food is ALWAYS delicious!I was prompted to leave this review after seeing a few unbelievably negative comments which are, in my opinion, not to be believed. Delivery is very fast, food is always piping hot and the portion sizes are excellent.

I would strongly question the authenticity of the previous reviews. I have bought food from this establishment on over fifty occasions over the years. The food is high quality and the staff are always curteous. You can collect or they will deliver to your door. Just on my way to pick up tonight's tea.

we visited Blackpool and thought we would end our trip with a Take away. We could have cried as the Dishes were terrible quality and the worst Chinese meal we had ever tasted. In fact it had to be dumped. The Satay Chicken did not taste of anything but watery tasteless stew and had no body or anything you would expect from a Satay dish. The rice was terrible as tasted thick & like a bad easy cook type that had gone wrong. Never again. Waste of our money.

Second time I've ordered the 1st time it was really nice but this time the sweet and sour sauce was disgusting the chilli chicken soggy. I phoned complained and got a refund ill never ever order from there again plus it was extremely overpriced

Food was the worse iv seen from a takeaway. The chow main sauce looked and tasted like gravy which i have never experience in my life. Rice was really hard and rubbery. Called to complain and was abusive, swearing and tried telling us that we are stupid. Argued and argued with us. And it took them less than 10mins to cook our food, pack it and get it to our house and we lived next to Blackpool north station. I've also checked if they are on the food standards agency list and they aren't. I wonder why eh. Never again just because of the way we were spoke to. Lost over £15.
