Waypoint Bar & Grill in Argyll & Bute

Visited this place for a late lunch and wished I hadn't. What a let down and embarassment to tourism in the Loch Lomond area. Problem starts at the entrance, no one to greet or offer seating, two young lads at the bar who made no effort at welcoming. Ordered diluting orange - none avaialable, no mashed potatoes for the haggis, oh, you can have frozen chips instead. Nearly £18 for fish and chips - again, frozen variety. Young server spilled the hot chocolate my grandson ordered and just shrugged his shoulders instead of sorting it out. Tables sticky and steps leading up to the gents toilet, crying out for a clean and fresh paint. For an establishment such as this in a prime location, should be a quality place to visit. Surely, the owner or manager can see what's required. Will be a long time before I visit again - if ever.

Was told by someone on the phone to leave a review since I can't reach the manager on the phone, so here I am. Normally such a lovely place to eat, but some of pricing isn't worth it =[ We ordered online for our dinner and for a pizza crunch (it didn't say it's size) "with salad", it's £6. That would've been a reasonable price if it was a full or did come with the salad, but it was just 1/2 with nothing else. For that kind of price, I do expect something more than a half I could get from another shop for £3.00. I'd even say this is false advertising because it doesn't mention a size and the person on the phone said it doesn't even come with salad to begin with . Also, the batter wasn't that nice on the pizza crunch or the jumbo sausages. It tasted doughy and was chewy on the sausage, while for the pizza crunch it was soggy. I had to remove the batter because I didn't like the doughy texture =[

Rubbish avoid, there is so much wrong with this place, just don’t waste your time or money, your taste buds will thank you .
