Waterside Bar & Restaurant in Hammersmith and Fulham

I live local and popped in for lunch with my sister, they had a lovely home made soup on the menu which we both thoroughly enjoyed in a nice relaxing atmosphere.

We visited Chelsea Harbour on a short break to London. The Waterside Bar was very good, we had a lunch with some wine, friendly staff and good food. Not a huge selection but adequate for most tastes. It was busy with a great buzz by the river. Highly recommend a visit

Beautiful spot overlooking the river near Imperial Wharf Station. Delicious fish and chips. Lovely staff. Excellent for parties. Also working space upstairs

Lovely place right on the waterfront staff were excellent. Just what we expected price wise in london very expensive. The Sunday roast was disappointing the beef was rare no choice in cooking of beef the vegetables and potatoes were nice enough but everything was not very warm. The gravy was very thin and like a moat around your plate it would have been nice to get it in a gravy boat .

A strange experience with the service - food was nice location is cute too and nice atmosphere on a sunny day but the staff were appaling. One lady who served us couldnt have done more but her staff said just a flat "no'" to every request (i mean - can we have a straw / can we order drinks at the table" to which the nice lady was only to pleased to serve us) They seemed not to know how the place worked. weird

We booked this for a Anniversary and birthday meal. We arrived before our allotted time.We were greeted by a lovely lady at the bar who took our drinks orders ,although no peach puree for the passion fruit martini. I asked about our reservation and she said we could sit any where.It was only 12 noon. So fairly empty inside. We chose to sit inside with a view of the river .When the sever came,another cheerful member of staff with an American accent. We opted for a the fish platter and the rump steak . A few minutes later she came back very apologetic and said they did not receive their fish delivery today. We were very disappointed. As that was one of the reasons we had chose the restaurant/bar .This meant no sea trout or crab risotto either. We opted for haddock and chips ,which they did have and two starters Prawn surf and turf and calamari as a mains.The food arrived hot and tasty. The rump steak was cooked to medium perfection.There appeared to be just 3 staff on but everything seemed to run smoothly. Desert time hubby chose sticky toffee pudding,again she had to come back and apologise as they had run out. The other problem was the toilets were out of action apart from the disabled one. We did wonder how they were going to cope later in the evening as they were advertising the euros. Overall view The food we had was delicious as well as the cocktails,Bar lady made a mean mojito.. The view is amazing and we felt the staff made it. Hopefully on our next visit ,everything will be available.

Absolutely terrible food !!!! The most basic food money can buy, cheap ‘golden’ food about the same quality as a motorway service station . It was £98.00 per couple for utter crap !! Don’t even consider the place.

Haven’t visited for a while as last experience the food wasn’t good, when I used to work in the area I visited a fair bit & years ago this place was great, not now. Returned one afternoon recently & ordered burger/fries/pint but when I cut into the burger it was very pink & luke warm. What a way to get food poisoning, The Food Standards Agency guidelines not adhered to here. It took an age for them to replace it (there was only about 4 tables taken when I was there so hardly busy) I ate the chips before they became cold & when eventually a cooked burger arrived I couldn’t face it & left. They didn’t seem overly concerned. Later that evening being hungry I popped into the Hilton Doubletree bar nearby who know how to cook a burger correctly.

I visited The Waterside on a late Sunday afternoon. Beautiful looking pub on the river. The Sunday roast was excellent. One of the best I’ve ever had in London. Highly recommend

This pub is in a great location, but it's rather soul-less inside. And the waiter was not knowledgable about the food. I was interested in the 'Waterside' plant-based burger, and asked the waiter what was in it. He seemed unsure, but said it was made with root vegetables. Imagining a delicious patty made with mashed sweet potato or similar, I actually got exactly what I did not want: an ultra processed 'pretend meat' burger, which I could only eat half of. When I pointed this out to the waiter, it he merely laughed it off, and I don't believe he learnt anything from the experience. Better staff training needed, and more information on the menu. My husband did enjoy his duck.

As always the atmosphere is great the staff super friendly and the food excellent. One of my favourite places to go for Sunday lunch.

It was a cold Sunday lunchtime and we were looking for somewhere to have a drink and some lunch. The pub was a hive of activity as Chelsea fans were having a pre-match drink and others were sheltering from the bitter cold outside. Despite the pub being so busy, staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were working hard with a smile on their face! After warming up with some mulled wine we enquired as to whether there might be room to have Sunday lunch. We thought it might be tricky given the numbers eating and drinking but JP (the manager) was very accommodating and managed to get us a table without bother. He then continued to personally look after our table with incredible attentivenes and friendliness - thank you JP! The food was delivered quicker than suggested and was tasty and a lovely big portion. JP even managed to get some roast beef for the dog - thank you. Thank you Waterside for a great lunch in a buzzy atmosphere!

My family, friends and myself had a great Saturday get together at the waterside pub restaurant on the river Fulham. We had a relaxed lunch and drinks. The food and service was excellent. We chose meals like their excellent Fish n chips, Chicken supreme, Trout, Burgers, ect alongside 5 children meals and was good that they catered for children gluten free. There were 21 of us and our food was served promptly, well cooked and everyone enjoyed their food. All clean plates at end of meal. The manager has excellent customer skills and the bar staff friendly and we will certainly be back.

This is very visually pleasing place, from the outside and the inside. A large multi-level bar area, beautifully decorated. Staff are very nice. The waterside location is a real treat. However, if you are looking for a chilled and sophisticated experience, don't come here on a Sunday afternoon / evening. Its a total mad house. Badly behaved kids charging around, treating the place like a playground with thoughtless inconsiderate yuppie parents allowing or even encouraging all. Combine this with howling dogs and absolute tolerance from polite bar staff - get me out of this hell hole.

I booked The Waterside for 35 people as part of a Conference and it was great from my initial enquiry until the dinner. Abbey was super friendly and helpful - nothing was an issue. We had to select our meals beforehand and Abbey dealt with last minute changes with no fuss. Valentino looked after us during dinner and he was also very friendly. I would highly recommend! Thank you everyone!

This place should state that children are not welcome because children were not welcome. If you have kids - avoid!!!

Everyone said hello as soon as we arrived made us feel very welcome - then it just gets better - the staff were great and service spot on - food was also perfect and the view of the Thames - into the evening as the sun went down was brilliant - will be going back next time we are in town to see family.

What a great find today! Had to arrange a meeting with the actors from Quadrophenia and chose the WatersideBar and Restaurant. We weren’t going to eat but when we spotted food being delivered to other tables suddenly we were all hungry. Great Service Great Food and a Great Atmosphere Thank you for looking after us it was great fun.

Half of our group only wanted a starter and the other a full meal. The staff were very accommodating. The food came all together and service was excellent midweek. We will definitely come back

After a long walk we were looking for somewhere comfortable with decent food and drink. We stumbled upon The Waterside and were initially impressed with the great location right on the Thames. When we went inside there was a wonderful selection of areas upstairs and downstairs with lovely large tables and great views. In the end we sat outside at the front and were greeted by an incredibly friendly and helpful waitress. We had a couple of (ice cold) beers and ordered a chicken supreme and a burger, both of which were excellent. Overall an incredibly relaxing location with loads of space, really good food and lovely atmosphere.

My family and I are just home from an amazing holiday in London & one of the highlights was The Waterside. We went here for my birthday .. late lunch & the food was fantastic, the atmosphere and views are stunning along with super friendly and great craic staff. We got chatting with the waiters, and the manager. Lovely people. We had starters, mains and desserts and all were on point, like a high end restaurant, but in lovely relaxed atmosphere, perfect blend if you ask me. … Guinness wasn’t bad either ;)

The Waterside was an ideal venue for a reception for 90 people following a rowing race on the Thames that finished at Imperial Wharf. The food (and drinks) went down a storm and Valentino was outstanding in the way he looked after us right from the outset until the very end. He kept an eye on the food and replenished the sliders when they ran out. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the bar service was really efficient. Everyone liked the venue and the area that had been set aside for us was ideal. Overall, it was a perfect evening, so we definitely be back.

Great spot (write on the Thames) with a great looking menu drew us in for dinner. Booking simple via the app; booked for indoors by default but staff got us an outside table which we wanted on a lovely sunny day (under parasols). Good was very tasty; cocktails also good with a reasonable variety of both. Atmosphere was very lively but unfortunately nearly every one at other tables were smoking (within the partly enclosed space of the terrace). Took a massive edge off the meal/experience.

Sad to say we were genuinely disappointed. Perhaps 10 people for lunch on a Thursday at 1pm is not something the kitchen or staff are used to. Four 'Beer Battered Cod' Sandwiches ordered, the quantity of fish in each didn't condone having fish in the title. The order was mixed up on two occasions, considering we all ordered one drink and a meal this isn't acceptable. One meal (Fish and Chips) arrived when everyone else was finished. Fair due, the manager did discount this meal accordingly. The chips I have to say.. 10/10! Thick, crispy on the outside and a good portion. The area does not have a vast option for business lunches, an opportunity being missed here!

This is a wonderful bar and restaurant. The service is amazing. The food is delicious. Camembert is best. Highly recommend this place and enjoy a nice sunny day. Fernando the manager goes above and beyond to keep the customers satisfied
