Wasabi Sushi & Bento in Dartford

Gave my daughter severe food poisoning confirmed with stool sample and then said it couldn’t possibly be their food when that’s the only thing she had eaten! Shocking! Environmental health advised and investigating.

Oh, dear! What the hell happened to Wasabi? The green curry hot box was inedible. It was not a curry it was a bland green paste with mushy chicken and 4 wilted red peppers. Please stop serving items you cannot make of decent quality anymore. On top of that, you charge for condiments without which one can't eat this meal. 8.5 quid for food I couldn't eat! Never will I want to step into any more shops and pick a hot meal ever agagin, especially when one has raved so much about the food to the people one took and forced to eat here.

Located in the food court area just be the entrance to the toilet and leading into the main shopping mall. Nice and clean place. Staff are friendly.

It’s a beautiful place and the service was very fast and amazing I recommend this and the food tasted absolutely one of a kind special! The manager Noby was very kind and funny!

Wow,this is laughable. Just visited today and I bought 2 soups ,one was chicken ;absolutely fine ,the other one was prawns ,they should call it prawn soup as there was only 1 prawns in it !!!

I went here and communicated to a lady in Japanese. I had been learning Japanese for a while. It was a lot of fun, since I got to test out my skills, and she was really nice! Great service. 🙂

A guy in plain clothes working there just very rudely told me off for taking pictures of the food when I was asking my friend what she wanted. Very absurd. I’ve never had anyone in a chain fast food restaurant telling me not to take photos especially in such a rude manner with no explanation or logic?

I was very disappointed. The sushi I bought was salmon and salmon and avocado. Unfortunately the avocado wasn't ripe so it was rock hard and tasted awful. When I told the staff, and showed them that it wasn't ripe and that I had left it, they weren't at all bothered. Terrible customer service.

Very good. Best Wasabi I've had for a while. Had Sweet Chilli Chicken Yakisoba (I.e. with noodles). Chicken was crispy on the outside but soft in the middle. Sauce was nice and seemed fresh, not too oily. Noodles were good. Again, they were fresh as were the vegetables in them. I also got the Spixy Korean Chicken Pops which were very good indeed, but I forgot to take a picture before scoffing them.

The staff here are amazing, always welcoming and kind. Tops to everyone. Never had a bad meal and will always keep coming back. Great selection of food always for all food preferences. Manager is very caring and bubbly, which rubs off on all staff and customers too! Keep it up!

Horrible women serving. Apparently they don’t do mixed bento. I was never turned away from any other wasabi for a mixed bento till now.

We love wasabi. Everything is tasty but would love to bring back chicken teryaki. We want teryaki back please.

Small selection of people with dietary requirements. But whatever they have has got good taste, nowhere near the taste you get in a sushi restaurant. But still good. I have had better sushi in Spain than in the UK but that's a different matter altogether.

Popped in after a visit to Gatwick. Bought some salmon with very salty soy, but the chocolate ganache helped. Big issue with tills, took a while to pay.

I absolutely love this sushi place. A variety of options to choose from and if you don’t like sushi, they have other ready meals available. The prices are great and sushi is always fresh. Highly recommend

The sushi here is great but the downside is around an hour or 2 before closing they won't make any more.

The service I received today was excellent. The staff went above and beyond, even offering me a taster pot of the sauce I was unsure about, to try out first before committing. The food is tasty, and there’s a wide array of snacks, drinks and conveniently packed desserts. The store itself is kept very clean and tidy, and the prices are affordable. Would recommend.

Looking around the food court at Bluewater my husband and I decided on salads and some gyoza that we both really enjoyed - tasty!

Quite simply it does what it says on the tin, sushi is always good and Bento boxes are always lukewarm but enjoyable. Only thing I would say is they need to change the labels as to my knowledge firecracker chicken should be quite spicy, but this sweet chilli chicken had more of a kick

Ordered 70 boxes of the new Vegan Xalmon Harmony Set from Wasabi in Bluewater for our party. Wow! Everyone was so impressed with the quality and taste of the food so thank you to Noby and his team at Bluewater. You were so professional and friendly. It was all packaged beautifully and on time and ready for us to collect. Thank you again.

I used to love Wasabi but since they have changed the chicken noodle soup recipe it just isn’t as good. They are less generous with the chicken and noodles - I used to be very full after consuming their previous noodle soup. This coconut broth lacks spiciness and flavour and just is not good. I’m disappointed as the old chicken noodle soup was my favourite meal ever. Please just bring that recipe back.

Disappointed with my katsu curry on this occasion, I am a regular here and visit at least once a week, however this time I was not impressed. The chicken was very small and dry, I would assume this was over cooked. The curry sauce was so gloppy and salty! The only thing that tasted as usual was the rice. If I was eating in Bluewater I would have told the staff directly, however I took this home and just ate what I could and chucked half away. I was hungry after this and ended up buying from a local takeaway spending unnecessary money! Please get this looked into.

Food is supposed to be freshly cooked on site but tasted like the day before yesterday was was dished up I had noodles with chicken curry. My wife had boiled rice with chicken curry. Both meals was yucky will never buy any thing from there again

Had my regular order which is a chicken katsu curry, temperature was great it was hot however chicken was so soggy, it didn’t taste nice. The curry had a bit of a weird taste to normal. It was okay overall but wasn’t enjoyable like it always has been before

I love wasabi but today I took my granddaughter there and the food was awful, not very hot, chicken was dry, rice had hard bits in and noodles very mushy. Tasted as though it was yesterdays food reheated. Very disappointed Asher birthday treat 🥺

Had sushi twice here now, first time it didnt tase fresh and the avocado was definitely old or expired in the sushi. So I thought i would give it another chance and its still very slimey compared to other sushi places and the avocado was basically brown in the sushi and my nigiri even had a bone in it…

Good however prefer the counters where its served fresh rather than boxed up ready

I'm a fan of Wasabi for fast Sushi or a katsu curry. The Katsu curry portions were large so we shared one.

It's my Sunday treat to y family after going to church. Food is really amazing, and reasonably priced plus it gives NHS discounts. Their katsu curry, I could definitely says is better than the leading and bigger chain store, it has that strong taste of a proper katsu curry. Their sweet chilli chicken is another fabulous dish they have created, there's enough heat but not burning a proper winter warmer😀. Then there is Their Korean Fried chicken my oh my, even it is smothered by the sauce it is still crunchy and not dy. Foods so good I always forget to take pictures

Wasabi used to be the closest thing to “almost Japanese” that I could find, but their latest selection has disappointingly become even less Japanese. “Poke bowls” (Hawaiian-inspired), soba noodle bentos (prepared more like Chinese food than Japanese) make the menu more “general asian style” than anything. The most disappointing was the “teriyaki chicken” bento. Teriyaki flavouring should be light, sweet and fragrant, but this was more like a confusing, over-spiced stew. The rising prices are definitely not justified.

Great Fresh Sushi. Staff were very polite and all queue and wait wasn't too bad. All the Sushi was very fresh and the prices wasn't too bad either. Seating was just across the walkway situated in the main food hall, and despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon it wasn't too hard to find an area to sit. Tables were clean and the cleaners were regularly cleaning the area.

Wasabi-rip-off, chicken curry has been reduced in half, half the rice and a quarter of the chicken , work in bluewater so get this regular. Said to staff the portion has been reduced __reply I can't say I'll lose my Job!!!!

Love this place, soups are finally back

Today I bought some Katsu sushi and whilst tucking in to what I expected to be a delicious meal for me and my daughter, ended up being an infested, disgusting, horrendous experience. A glance down to the sushi revealed a maggot also tucking into my meal! This is an absolute disgrace! A refund was provided but please avoid they clearly don’t have a care for humans and only for maggots!

I preferred the shop bought version to the "freshly made" produce they have under their heaters in store. The noodles tasted like they'd been sitting there festering in grease for hours and the chicken was as dry as anything... and for over a thousand calories I'd save them for a Pizza if I were you.

Hot and cold food selection is decent

Very nice food, I really like the triangles that contain the rice and other assortment of flavours and I really like the sushi and gyoza. I got a promotional card that allowed me to get a free drink and side when I ordered there and it was extremely good because I got home and was able to savour the food for a longer time as I had more and it was veryt nice.

The food is well above average for Japanese food in the UK. The price is about expensive, but if you want a semi-authentic Japanese food, it is a good shout. They have a good selection of fresh sushi and sashimi, and their daifuku mochi are quite well made. Their warm foods are always hot, and the portion are decent for the price you pay. Their bubble milk tea is very tasty and too sweet.

Friday night takeaway, I was a bit worried to buy the sushi as I thought it's too cheap to be good but I was wrong. Everything we bought was delicious and much cheaper than elsewhere. I'm sure we'll return. The staff was very nice as well.

The food is delicious (especially the gyoza) and the environment is clean.
