BLUEWATER BRANCH IS NASTY! As a Wagamama lover who frequents the croydon branch weekly I was shocked at how disgusting the Bluewater branch was on not only the service, staff and cleanliness but then staying against our better judgment to have our food arrive stone cold with the rice a mess and Katsu curry congealed with film on top as if it had been sitting there all day… the salad came bone dry and tasteless with no dressing which we had to ask for along with burnt Yakitori chicken sides and rock hard gyoza… after sending all food back to kitchen and leaving no apology or refund was issued? Very odd

The restaurant boasts a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that makes it perfect for a casual meal out. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, providing exceptional customer service throughout my visit. Special mention goes to Kritan, who served us on Saturday, November 9th, during the early afternoon (between 12 and 2 pm). Kritan was not only polite and professional but also attentive and genuinely made us feel valued as customers. While enjoying the delicious tantanmen beef brisket ramen, I did encounter a minor issue—a hair on the egg that accompanied the dish. Upon bringing it to the attention of a staff member, they immediately apologized and replaced the meal without hesitation. Their prompt response and the overall great service I had received, particularly from Kritan, ensured the situation did not dampen my experience. Mistakes can happen, especially in a busy kitchen, but the team at Wagamama handled the matter professionally and with care. Thanks to their excellent service, I left feeling satisfied and appreciated as a customer. I would happily dine here again and recommend this Wagamama location to anyone looking for delicious food and top-notch service.

There's always a queue for a Wagamama, and this place is no different. A good selection of vegan options, but they've got rid of the one with the fake egg. Wagamamama is my only experience with this style of Asian food, so I can't comment on its authenticity, but Wagamamamama does taste really good. The banana fritters pudding was lovely.

It is a well established chain and I personally have never had a bad time. You are given comfort in knowing no matter where you go, you will have an almost identical experience. The Bluewater branch is no exception. You could be in London or Canary Wharf and that is amazing for a shopping centre in Kent. My most recent visit I discovered that not only can you pay from your phone at a table, you do not need an app to do so and there is a decent split bill option for larger parties that is fairly intuitive.

I had such a wonderful experience at Wagamama this afternoon that I felt compelled to share. From the start, the staff went out of their way to accommodate my mum, who has specific allergy and disability needs. Iziaz, in particular, went above and beyond by helping us find a spacious table. As deliveroo rider working in Bluewater for two and half to 3 yrs on job. I find the management really difficult to grasp and their regularity regarding present on site. I feel as though even when I need to go and re-enter they shun away those who won't stick to the site refuse to handover order, on the other hand they took half hour to an hour to prepare. If you can't deliver on time, don't alert driver of arrival when food is not prepared. Cuckoo management wrong use of tongue here, I mean snidey rules.

This is a good restaurant and I love the chain as a whole, however I was saddened to realise that they are using farmed salmon the production of which is causing terrible harm to the fish stocks of west Africa. Please stop using unsustainable farmed salmon.

My entree and starter arrived before the other four guest received anything, to their credit they did say the meals would come in any order which I took to mean the entrees would arrive in any order and then the mains would come in any order. You do feel a bit guilty eating your entree to avoid your main going cold while the other adults and children are hungry. Overall I was pleased with the service and food

The chef needs to be fired! Enough is enough. How can you charge £15 for plain rice, plain chicken and plain veg. You are deliberately treating Deliveroo customers badly because they cannot complain to your face, it is disgusting. The chef has been doing it for a very long time. If you do not want to provide the dish as advertised then do not list it as an option on your menu. If they do not fire the chef, the location needs to be shut down as it is clear they do not value ALL of their customers and must think we are mugs.

I’ve never been to this restaurant before and I absolutely loved it. My daughter and I went there yesterday, Monday 17June for lunch. The staff were lovely and we had a young girl trainee, who was being mentored, she was very good, they both were. As soon as we got there we were greeted and the lady was so thoughtful she showed us immediately to seating with a back as my daughter is heavily pregnant. The food was so fresh and tasty . I’m definitely going back 👍

We had a voucher so decided to give Wagamama a try, never eaten here so was a new experience. We was greeted in the que with menus to then be informed there was a delay on noodle dishes, this was not ideal but we thought non the less we will try. We finally got seated 10 minutes later and was served by Ollie. He was brilliant and very attentive explained everything we needed to know as first timers, we asked if there was a delay on noodle dishes still of which he came back and said no delay. Both had different meals both very lovely. Can't fault Ollie for his amazing service. A credit to the blueater team, thank you 😊

I went for a meal for 5 on father's day/daughter's birthday, and ended up watching my whole family eat their orders while my food was not ready for a further 20/25 mins. That was after they tried to give me the wrong dish as well. Manager was great, friendly and apologetic, giving me my personal meal for free and a £15 voucher. I felt a bit sour about my experience at the time, and it was extremely busy so mistakes happen, but I was happy with the resolution.

I was served by riaz who was lovely and helped us make sure our meal was perfect! He was very friendly and helpful. I have always ordered the chicken ramen and have found lately it is going a little down hill. There isn’t enough broth and it seems to mainly be noodles. Which is a shame because it was perfect before! I also asked another server (blonde girl) for an extra sauce which she said she would get but then never got it for us, it wasn’t a massive problem but also wondered why she said she was getting it if she wasn’t. During and at the end of the meal riaz made sure everything was perfect for us and that we had drinks when we needed them :) the staff work very hard and there is a lovely happy vibe between them all which really adds to customers feeling happy and comfortable.

The food was great but my experience was ruined a bit by my very rude waitress. I should have got her name to email someone about her as her attitude was appalling. She had blonde hair and average height. She constantly seemed to be in a state of annoyance as she stormed around and acted like we were a bother to be there. Overall I will not be returning to this specific location as these are the types of people they hire.

Joined my daughter Clio and her friend at the end of their supper last evening. Our server James was incredibly attentive even after we had paid and noticed we were just enjoying some extra time chatting at the table. After a while he brought a couple of extra dishes to us that had apparently been ordered elsewhere but not required. It was an incredibly kind gesture and one we will all remember. This rating/review is for today's experience (or, rather, lack of it). Was seated and told someone would be over in a couple of minutes to take our order. 15 minutes later and we're still sat there, watching other tables being seated and orders taken. Asked twice if someone could take our order but absolutely nothing materialised. After nearly 20 minutes of waiting/being ignored I decided to take the kids elsewhere. Has put me off of somewhere we frequent at least a couple of times a month.

I’ve been to Wagamama countless times. This time the service was horrendous. I used a gift card to pay but they charged the full amount more than the bill and couldn’t refund back on the gift card. They took my bank details for a refund but it’s been more than a week I haven’t received money back. Food is below average now and prices are too high. There’s no consistency in food quality and quantity. Service is as poor as it can get. I had to ask three times for my bill. I’ll be avoiding it like a plague now.

We went to Wagamamas, today/18th March, for lunch. We were seated promptly, order taken relatively quickly, but by a fairly uninterested male server. Food came quite quickly, but the young female server, hadn’t taken note of the specifics of the order, my salad was without pickles and my husband with pickle. The plates were just put in front of us, and we had to swap. Then the same female server cleared our plates, and said would we like to see the dessert menu, we said yes. We waited and waited and waited, she passed us numerous times doing other things, and at no point remember about the desert menu. It’s as if, that is what she has to say when clearing tables, but then promptly forgets. We gave up and paid, and left. The last time we visited, there were service issues too. We can remember about 5-6 years ago visiting this Wagamamas and a particular female server remembering us each time we visited, those days are definitely gone. The staff just don’t seem interested.

Not great. Got my wife's order wrong and so she had to wait and watch me eat mine while she waited another 15 for hers. A romantic meal for two turned into us independently eating alone and watching the other eat. No offer to take a meal off the bill (which other wagas have done in the past) even when pushed. The manager was indifferent about it all. Would not recommend.

This was, unfortunately the only time I’ve ever had a bad experience at a Wagamama, and it’s the first time I’ve ever been to the Bluewater restaurant, luckily Josh’s great service rescued it for us. One of the main dishes we had ordered, arrived cold, and I’m not entirely sure how that’s possible when the food is supposed to be cooked fresh and comes out when ready?? We asked the attention of a waitress who was around at the time and she seemed very hostile and defensive at us telling her the food was cold, and essentially pawned us off on her manager pretty much immediately instead of attempting to deal with it herself — the manager was kind enough to have removed the item from the bill and got us a fresh one free of charge, which was great. The issue worsened, however, when the new dish arrived and the chicken within it was pink and evidently very undercooked and my dad had eaten most of it before he realised. Again, I can’t fault the service and thanks to Josh and the nice manager, but the food itself was not up to standard.

This place has gone down hill. For the for time in my life I had to send food back as it was over cooked. There were crunchy noodles in there when there shouldn’t have been. When I talked to a member of staff about it, she looked like she had no idea what to do. She then got the manager. The manager was really really nice and took my order back for a fresh one. Once the manager walked away from the kitchen area, two members of the kitchen staff could be seen clearly mocking either the manager or myself, like little school children bully’s. This caused a terrible atmosphere. When the food came back it looked exactly the same

Wagamama is a go to lunch place for us. Perfect quantity, quick service and awesome taste. Really recommended

Extremely poor quality food. We ordered Pad Thai and had a portion which used to be a childrens meal before The noodles were cold, hard and inedible. The katsu curry had had overfried chicken and the broth was extremely sugary. We go to Wagamama at leats twice a month and both times have been extremely bad. i am not sure if the issue is limited to the Bluewater restaurant only

Firstly, excellent service from Sam. 5 stars-thank you. Chicken & Prawn Yaki Soba came with 2 prawns and four tiny pieces of chicken. When pointed out to the waitress, I was told I could have more chicken, but it would have to be cooked. Spoke to manager who stated no refund (or even charge me for vegetarian option), was possible as the meal had been partially consumed. Pathetic excuse. I was also informed that this particular dish usually has four prawns and 40 g of chicken. My dish had nothing like this. Extremely disappointing and complete lack of sympathy for the customer. Disappointing for such a well-known restaurant.

Katsu curry served with rotten lettuce, it looked like it was picked out of the bin. Apparently the "chef" couldn't offer any explanation as to why they think it's ok to serve such poor quality

Family lunch last sunday - food delicious as always but we only discovered the children's menu after the meal. Would have been better to point it out before ordering. Kid's menu is on back of colouring paper - would be helpful if on main menu.

The new hotpot dish is quite spicy and small. The wrong kids meal came out. When it did come is out it seemed very small. One meal was missed off. The edamames looked small. Squid was delicious in the dip provided. Udon fried dish looked sufficient. Overall it has been better.

This Yo restaurant is amazing. They provide excellent service and food is always fresh and tasty. There’s a good balance of hot and cold food with options for vegetarians/vegans. We always have a great time eating out and keep coming back as our favourite place to dine. Kids always ask to go to Yo first which must be a good sign!
