Wasabi Sushi & Bento in Southwark

If you want to have a quick and cheap lunch, this is the place. I usually go here if i do not have time to eat for a long time and staffs are friendly. However, they are too close to each other, so the vibe feels like I came to another friends house, whom I am not close with since they are keep talking loudly each others, and this makes me uncomfortable to eat in. I always get ignored when I say thank you after I have a meal there. I fully understand they are quite busy at lunchtime, but this is the same thing even if there are no customers in the queue. The worst thing is I always have to say that I want the receipt... (They never ask) Nevertheless this is a very cheap place in the area.

Got a chicken teriyaki bento and some sushi. Bento had 1 piece of chicken in it. Appreciate rents are high and profit needs to be made, but skimping at this level for profits will just erode market share for wasabi. Will never be eating wasabi again.

Anything. Frozen cucumber in my sushi. Gyosa hard as a rock. Run away.

Very frustrating that on google it says it closes at 10pm on Tuesdays but the staff said it actually closes at 9:30pm.

For the first time I taste sugary rice and meat, so please fix this. What if someone has got diabetes…?

A lot of food poisoning for my whole family, except one who didn't have sushi but just rice and vegetables. Absolutely avoid.

Stay away from that place or be very careful! There are pickpockets operating at that location. While on a short trip to London we went there for a quick meal on our way to a play. My daughter took a picture of the food and put the phone back into her purse. Shortly after a beggar with a cryptic sign (young lady) walked around the store asking for money. We noticed the phone missing already after we left. Not sure if it was someone from the store alerting the thief about an opportunity.

Nice service by Ymeralai. The sweet n sour spicy chicken ok...bit too much sauce n bit too spicy for me. Price at £7.75 was okay considering it's central London. Got tea from McDonald's just next door 😁...

Sushi is good in quality and taste,reasonable prices.

The food is good, but the noodles and rice absorb the sauce and the food is dry because of that. Jinns normal. Maybe try the soup and the sushi was 👍

Very good and cheap food! approved. I was passing by and I really wanted sushi, I took advantage of it. generous portions at the right price for sushi by the piece.

Such nice food for the price! My mum and I got a chicken Katsu and another chicken dish with noodles, both were delicious and only around £7/8. Definitely one of the better options if you are on the go and need something ready made.

Low vibe food that ruins your day. Full of bad chemicals and preservatives and previously there was one woman server who was very rude so I don’t go back there anymore

Sushi salmon bland and gross and the noodles were so soaked in E numbers and flavour enhancers I couldn’t finish it. Won’t be going back. Also overpriced!

Chain of shops specializing in the preparation and sale of sushi and other oriental dishes, both hot and cold. Good products and the possibility of eating on the tables made available in most places. There are several outlets in all London neighborhoods!

Lost the way re: food flavour and quality. Used to be good tasting food a few years ago - now anglicised to bland nonsense

Vegan Yasai Hand Roll was good but 10 min before closing I didn't get a discount for my food. This is the first branch it happened to me. How bizarre 🤔

The sweet chilli chicken & rice is the best meal ever! The staff of this branch is also fantastic, always very welcoming and with a smile ready to serve your meals, highly recommended.

Lovely clean little shop with beautifully packed sushi which was absolutely delicious and fresh. Lots of variety and great value. Will be back for more very soon!

Great for the price! The chicken cutlets were large, and the curry was packed full of flavor.

So so disappointed. I spent £46 on sushi and I asked for extra soya and all I got was one single bag with soya . I felt disgusted and left the shop but I thought it’s lack of respect for your clients. I felt I’ve asked the lady from the till to give me one from her own pocket or asked her to pay for it .As a company you should treat the client with respect .

문닫기 30분 전에 가서 50퍼센트 할인받아서 완전 땡큐. 마트에서 파는 정도의 초밥, 롤, 카레, 가츠류를 먹을 수 있었음. 할인 안받았어도 가성비는 민족했을 수준일 듯.

連鎖日式壽司餐廳有素食（Vegan）壽司可選擇且不”雷”，供素食者或想吃平價壽司朋友，去碎片塔用餐之參考。

Great place to stop for a quick bite if you find yourself near London Bridge. It's also nice if you're by yourself and want to eat in peace. Boxes cost a little bit more if you're eating in, but cheaper if you take them to go.

Love it here! One of the best parts about day trips to London in my opinion, food is always a decent portion and filling.

How many times have I come 20-25 minutes before closing and the establishment is always closed😩

금방금방 만들고 계속 리필되어 연어랑 롤이 차갑고 신선하네요. 저 카레 돈카츠가 따뜻하고 너무 맛있게 먹었어요. 근데 한입 먹는 순간 진짜 한국의 오뚜기 카레인줄 알았어요. ☺️

I just had mini tokyo salmon set from Wasabi Tooley St, London Bridge station. The sushi is so delicious. Will definitely come back for take away.

Wasabi has ready to go fresh Sushi and Bento. Quickly replenished by courteous staff. Great location near London Bridge. Sushi was fresh and good portion for quick bite. Clean tables.

Good selections of sushi and some hot foods (curries, teriyaki, katsu, etc) at decent prices.

Ideal to get a quick meal, located just outside London Bridge station. Not many seats available inside, but it was clean and tidy, as the shelfs showing the food. Just a note: during my visit there was a loud noise (I don't know if it was air conditioning, also because it was quite hot inside), this it wasn't very pleasent. Anyway, my Chicken katsu curry was good and the portion was generous.

Super clean and fast service. Love the variety and the pricing is very very reasonable. My go to are the salmon origini and the chocolate mochi dessert.

Really good hot meals, we got Tofu Bento curry, veg kimchi noodles and raspberry mochi.

One of my go to places for food, always happy and friendly staff. If the dish you want isn't out, they make it for you in less than 5 minutes.

Bought Vegan Ci'King Katsu Yakisoba, it was dry, burned and tasteless. Not sure why they kept it on the shelf or even if they quality check their products.

Love Wasabi! The Chicken Katsu Curry is amazing and just the right portion. This branch at London Bridge does fast food really well with boxes of each dish ready prepared for you to pick up. Very busy but to be expected. Food was nice and hot

Very little selection of available hot food with over an hour to go until closing. Could be better, especially no vegetarian options

Disinterested and unnattentive staff. I recently visited the store and picked up an item from the very clearly marked 'vegan' section. When I took the product away and started to eat it later in the day, I then realised it was very clearly a meat dish (and listed so in the ingredients when checked). Very disappointing to have experienced this and clearly a bad failing on their part.

The sushi was good but they didn't have sets that ONLY had nigiri or sashimi.

Love the food here and if a dish you want is not available they will make it for you fast ASAP.

Clean and fresh shop located right outside of London Bridge Station. Friendly staff and good pit stop to grab sushi or bento on the way to office or home.
