Wasabi Sushi & Bento in City of London, Westminster

It was ok. It is slightly expensive but good for a little lunch.

Actually quite good. However, having to pay an extra charge (around 2 pounds) because you eat in the restaurant is outrageous.

Price performance is just right here. Highly recommended if you get hungry after shopping :-)

Not great. Food cold. Asked for it to be warmed up. Was refused. They should have offered to make fresh. They did not. Been to many branches of Washbi but this was the worst. Avoid.

very rude and racist store manager (tall man not wearing the uniform) which is an irony since this is a restaurant selling Asian food. Bought curry bento which was ICED cold. I only requested to heat it up in microwave (there were 2 empty microwaves behind him with no other customers in store) but was scolded. I don't think I ever ate an ice cold curry rice ever before in any country. Saw many other Asians getting told-off as well.

Wasabi has gone down in quality of food. Ordered chicken teriyaki and amount of chicken was like a few teeny tiny pieces. More teriyaki sauce than chicken. I understand inflation etc but come on if you raise prices then leave same.amount of chicken.

Super cheap and solid japanese food. You get what you pay for. No surprises. A great place or an in and out. They have sushi ramen rice dishes everything

Love it for a grab and go sushi

I had never approached it because I thought it was expensive, but after going in I changed my mind. Excellent food for a fair price, especially the hot ready meals near the cash register: the dishes are very balanced, including pasta or rice combined with meat with spices. Or there is a whole sector dedicated to sushi, I haven't tried it but it seemed varied. Great for a lunch break

The sushi from here is always fresh and the counter always seems to be well stocked. Allergens are clearly marked.

This Wasabi is easy to grab your lunch or sushi on the go. The staff are friendly and the choices of food are good.

Curry ramen was bland and boring 😩

Good but for a quick bite not more

If you don't want to eat British food and feel like Korean food is too much, a lunch box from Wasabi is perfect. Sushi and curry are good, and chicken wings are also delicious. It's not as good as Korean supermarket sushi, but it's easy to eat, so it's okay haha. The ramen tastes just like instant food! I recommend the sushi lunch box. And it's even better because you can eat it at the store.

I used to love wasabi but this evening I bought a salad, a box of sushi and of maki and the quality is now down the drain. Therefore this was my last purchase ever at wasabi…

Food with little flavor and not very cheap

Went there quite late so the selection was a little limited but first time and got something that I wanted. Possibly need to try it earlier on in the day to see what the general selection is like.

Nice location in the middle of Soho for a late night snack. Some seating inside. Came here on a cold Saturday night. Very busy. Find a seat before purchasing your food. I love Japanese food but this one was rather basic. Good prices considering the location. They offer takeaways.

Excellent fast and fresh product

Shrinkflation has hit Wasabi hard. The chicken in the kutsu curry bento is sooo much smaller than it was a couple years ago.

Great clean food at a reasonable price

The worst experience we had with any Wasabi. The pupils at the store are rude. Even Food is also not good!

I came to grab some food as I work in the area and I was on my break. The manager on duty today was very rude. I was in the restaurant first and then a big booking came in. Whilst in the middle of taking my order she proceeded to serve them instead of finishing my order. I asked VERY NICELY if she could finish serving me and sort out the booking after because I came in first, I was in the middle of ordering and I am on my work break so time was limited. She rolled her eyes and called her colleague Harry over to take finish my order. The final straw was when I was looking at the menu and she closed it knowing I was reading the menu and slapped a bunch of menus on top of my hand. Customer service was absolutely terrible, and passive aggressive. This is very bad considering she was the MANAGER on shift. Harry, however, was lovely and asked me if everything was okay when he saw how disgusted I was. If I had time I would’ve asked for her superior and made a formal complaint as a manager shouldn’t behave this way. I run a very busy restaurant in the area so I know how it works and I would never behave this was as a manager. Food was good, warm but it did leak due to paper bowls.

Das Sushi war gut. Man zahlt aber mehr für die Sushi, wenn man im “Restaurant” essen möchte, was eigentlich auch nachvollziehbar ist, aber dann darf man auch die Erwartung haben, dass die Tische geputzt sind, mehr Sojasauce nicht extra berechnet wird und es eine Toilette hätte. Dies war leider alles nicht der Fall! Sehr enttäuschend!

I've always been a big fan of Wasabi, especially the Sweet Chilli Chicken dish. But recently the portions have been laughable, pair that with an increase in price and its basically daylight robbery. To be fair, it seems that most food chains are doing this right now. Shame because it is tasty, but i wont be going back.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the sushi at a local shop, and I must say that it was a fantastic experience. The shop is perfect for takeaway, with a well-organized and efficient system that allows customers to quickly grab their orders and go. The staff are also very nice and accommodating, which made the entire experience even more pleasant. But of course, the real star of the show here is the sushi. It was some of the tastiest and freshest sushi I've ever had. Each piece was packed with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. And the price? Perfectly okay, especially when you consider the generally high prices of food in London from an Austrian point of view. In fact, the sushi is almost a bargain! If you're looking to save a bit more money, the takeaway option costs about £1 less, which is a nice bonus. All in all, I would definitely visit this restaurant again for their delicious sushi and excellent service.

I have had wasabi way too many times in the past and they either reduced the quality or this particular branch had terrible sushi. The sushi was cold with no flavour... just so bland. It was like supermarket sushi and worst. We didn't ended up eating everything. The katsu chichen was sooo dry who knows how many hours was under the heat. It just feels that quality overall has decreased.

Didn't have many seats. Kids love this place but personally I do find some of the food to be very greasy. Also they do use excessive plastic for their food containers.

Honestly the best sushi place in the U.K. I’d say. The food is prepared and sold in a high quality manor and it tastes great overall! Definitely a recommendation if you wanna try out sushi :)

Food is really really nice. However, eating in is not very desirable because it can be a bit annoying as people are constantly coming in and out right behind you. And most importantly, there is no loo!

Ела суши в этой сети очень много раз. Всегда все свежайшее и вкусное! Советую брать всевозможные сеты и супы. Всегда беру с собой.

마트 초밥보다 못한 느낌 타지에서 먹을 수 있어서 먹는다는... 그런 것 치곤 무난하다는 평. 곳곳에 체인이 많아서 이용이 쉬움. 네이밍이 훌륭한 것 같은 개인적인 의견.

그냥....생각나서 먹어봤는데...맛도 있고 그런데 물가가 비싸서 그런지 쓰읍..

Great place to sit watching world go by as you're enjoying the food, ate the chicken katsu curry and was so good I ended up eating two. Highly recommend to eat here and staff are so friendly. X

Wir haben auch mal diese Sushi-Kette probiert und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Menüs sind recht günstig und es gibt interessante Geschmackskompositionen. Fisch und Zutaten sehr kühl, intensiv und frisch. Preislich kleines Mittagessen für Zwei für um die £10 als Take away. Personal war überaus freundlich. Der viele Plastikmüll ist nicht schön.

Los restaurantes Wasabi me dieron de comer durante mi estancia de 6 días en Londres. Es la mejor opción barata y sana para comer y cenar. Hay muchos locales en el centro de Londres. Tienen una gran variedad de platos y a un precio muy bueno. Puedes hincharte de comida japonesa por menos de 10£. OJO: El precio que sale en letra grande en los expositores es el precio para comerlo fuera del restaurante. El que aparece en letra pequeña es el precio por tomarlo dentro y la diferencia puede ser entre 1 y 2£. Este pequeño engaño al cliente, de poner el precio de fuera en grande y el de dentro en pequeño es la única pega que le saco al restaurante y por lo que le pongo 4 de 5 estrellas.

Awful - do not go here. I had a chicken Katsu salad and the chicken was STILL FROZEN in the middle. I took it back and all I was offered was a replacement. I took them up on the offer and that dish was exactly the same!
