Waka in Hammersmith and Fulham

I work in White City so my lunch is usually in Waka - fantastic staff , very nice and friendly, food portions are good. In 2 weeks I generate about £75.00 only in Salmon and Rice options (my fav) but now I have to look at other options as they increased at £8.50. Cheaper options around and good quality food too.

Pero no pudimos resistir la mousse de maracuyá, ¡tan deliciosa! ! ! Gracias al equipo, y espero volver nuevamente para probar cosas nuevas (una vegana parece muy agradable)

Primera vez aquí. El personal es muy servicial al dejarme probar las diferentes salsas. Fui por la salsa local de salmón a un costo de 7. 50 Cuando volví a la oficina, me decepcionó mucho abrir mi cuenco para ver solo el salmón y el arroz pegajoso cubiertos de salsa. Muy aburrido y muy salado, nada agradable. Puede obtener mucho mejor y más barato en otros lugares.

Trabajo cerca y desde que probé con Waka, no puedo tener suficiente. Personal increíblemente amable y rápido y deliciosa comida (fría y caliente). Sin duda prueba el sushi de salmón y el tataki de atún trufa. También amar todos los colores brillantes en el interior.

Really impressed with food. Very high quality ingredients are clearly on offer. Sauces are home made and have unique succulent flavours. Above all value for money is incredible with most dishes being around £5, which is a nice change in already overpriced London.

Plus points: service was friendly and fast. And portion size was generous. Place was popular with other punters. Negative: chicken teryaki consisted of two pieces of chicken, a very small amount of sauce, and absolutely tons of not very nice rice. That was it. At a similar price point to Itsu who offer the same dish, I was expecting a bit more. Some veg? A bit more sauce? If I had served that at home my wife would have been very disappointed. Good luck to these guys as they appear to be offering something different. 

I went to this new takeaway last week for lunch and was very impressed by the quality of the food and the taste of the dishes. I know Nikkei cuisine and go very often to places like Chottomatte or Coya so was very excited to find the same cuisine on a grab and go format.

So excited to have nikkei food so accessible with these guys! Very impressed with the quality of products and fresh ingredients - I could have their ceviches everyday! Amazing selection of dishes that I was previously only able to find at high end restaurants, great value. Make sure to try the green tea tiramisu as well - yum!! WAKA in every area please!

Indifferent sushi, staff and service. Add to this the serious fruit fly infestation downstairs which when complained about was met with absolute indifference, which gives me serious doubt about their alleged 5/5 hygiene rating. 13.35 for two tiny trays of 6 piece sushi / 6 piece sesame seed truffle tuna and some crappy drink makes it bloody expensive too. All food had an iffy smell too. NEVER GOING BACK!

I went for an early lunch by myself while at work. Early days - will try again in a few weeks as they settle. Pluses: Good location in an area with few good options. Original concept and menu - the beef sushi roll was filling and tasty. Decent value. Nice seating area with free internet. Food prepared on site fresh each day. Negatives: Many of the dishes were not available when I visited and were being prepared only as I ate - really open at mid-day rather than 1130. The Miso was dreadful - warm dishwater.

I like this 'new kid on the block'. The City has plenty of sushi places - a few of the bigger chains are becoming a bit soulless. This feels a lot more personal and there's a funky seating area downstairs. Sushi is super fresh and it's all half price if you catch them in the hour before closing at 6pm. Buy your healthy evening meal on the way home!

On a whim I decided to go here for my lunch, I am bored of the usual haunts in the area. I'm so glad I did. I had the Beef Nikkei Sushi and it was amazing was kind of sad that it was finished. It's slightly expensive, but a great addition to the area. Definitely will be trying more dishes from here in the near future.

Unbelievable fresh sushi and peruvian food at suck good prices. Will go here at least twice a week now. The salmon was great too
