Waitrose in Havant

Great to have a coffee while doing the shop in Waitrose. Place is not as busy as most coffee shops in thne area whcih makes it a great place to wait fort he wife!

It is always a pleasure to shop at Waitrose. This store is clean and tidy and there are often special offers. We like the quality of the meat, fish and vegetables. There is parking in front of the store but you must pay for a ticket. This can be redeemed at the checkout.

IF its Waitrose it has to be great coffee and good cakes. Always pop in for a coffee and cake when we're in Waterlooville

I went into the cafe to meet with a friend for a coffee and a cake. The cafe was very clean but as you might expect, food and drink was above normal prices for that area.It seems for some unknown reason you have to pay for the name. The food and drinks were excellent as they should be. We had to wait to get spoons to stir our coffee's as none were on display.

Upon Entry.into Waitrose, Waterlooville I approached a young member of staff at the customer services desk and explained about the bad quality wine my Wife purchased, but her reply stunned me as she informed me that I can't refund alcohol that has been opened already, so what's the point of this receipt ?. I then asked to speak to the manager, he took a while but as he approached I asked him so what's the point of a receipt if I can't return bad wine ? He replied “depends what's wrong with it”. I said “my wife tells me it tastes like vinegar” so he took the wine from me and studied the label and then opened it to smell the contents. Then he looked up to me and tells me he will call the wine taster over to check it... Duhhh I thought the manager should already know what wine smells like. I was gobsmacked at the sheer humiliation and disbelief of how this Store Manager treats the general consumer of his products He called for the wine taster over the microphone . They whispered things together, and then he finally agreed to refund me, But he just had to point out that this wine was bought in Havant so why bring it here. I replied “ because I work over here that;'s why“ What does it matter anyway because I'm sure I can take it back to ANY Waitrose store?? He did refund me in the end and even asked for a penny to make it up to the Round £7 but i'm sure it was through gritted teeth And Just to let you all know I am actually a 57 years old man, not a kid. “ What has happened to common respect? ” As from now, my whole network of friends and family will never visit this particular branch again!

Visited for the 1st time last Sunday and overall was just as expected. The store is a good size with a good selection of products to choose from. Was able to find everything on the shopping list so ticks all those boxes.

The great thing about Waitrose is that you can look at the recipe book and be pretty sure that you can find every ingredient when you go there. However, what really makes this particular Waitrose an exceptional place to go is the staff - always friendly, always helpful and always willing to go out of their way to help. That doesn’t happen by accident so a big thank you to the management team for making all this happen. I guess most important of all is the food quality and I have never, ever had cause to complain. Well done to everyone for a great place to shop.

Great food great service but pricy but it’s back to that age old saying you get what you pay for and that is true can’t fault the food at all I’ve been three times now and it’s been consistent every time

Waitrose coffee shop. Good range of cakes, ears and coffee. Handy to wait in while shoppjng in Dukes walk!

Found this Waitrose café to be clean, with friendly efficient service and a select range of cakes , pastries and light breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea items.
