(01.Nov.24) ordered food for collection... ready at stated time. Food hot and delicious. Can't fault this place.

Chicken chow mein cooked fine,but unfortunately a portion of chips half cooked hard and uneditable....only reason for 3 stars other than that absolutely fine

Absolutely delicious. Delivered early and piping hot. This is our fav for Chinese food.

Bit lacking in the meat content. Ordered a house special chow main which was bit lacking in the meat/prawn department compared to other vendors.

Drive rang the main door bell so I buzzed him in… I had to go to the front door of my apartment block and he refused to bring my food to my door! I got lip from him so not a pleasant experience from my first order !! Plus.. there were no soft drinks I ordered and paid for!

food was beautiful but had to get in touch with the restaurant as my order had still not arrived 20 minutes after the latest time indicated.

this had plenty flavour and a good amount of prawns . but my plate was basically full of giant chunks of onion , a space filler . must have been a whole onion on my plate

will never order from this takeaway again the owner is very rude. staff gave me a bag of prawn crackers and as I was leaving owner came out of kitchen demanding payment for the bag of prawn crackers in a very rude manner. very poor customer service definitely won't be ordering from them again.

Something changes here from a weekend to a week night meal order. Lost my confidence in the food being sent out now, not what it used to be. Dish contents are not consistent, have even thrown some friday and saturday meals in the bin. Sorry if thats cutting, but that is whats happened. Especially the curries and chow mein dishes. :-)

Food was delivered on time - Restaurant is five minutes from home - Food delivered was cold and had sweated all heat out - Poor

The food was stale and soggy, really disappointed. It has upset everyone’s tummy who has had it.

Beef was rotten cheap meat.. Apart from that rest was beautiful

Food lovely as always. Delivery late however which was a first. Seems like they called in extra drivers for back up to help with unexpected business so at least tried to resolve the issue.

Lush food, the ribs were amazing. You never fail us.

Mostly lovely as usual. Some of the chicken balls not quite as nice as previously have been, a little too much undercooked batter. We enjoy the curry, rice and chips but needs more curry so we always order a separate pot but still not quite enough and for the price imo it could be a little bigger. Prawn crackers are also getting smaller and more expensive. We are def ordering less often because of this.

Chips & Pineapple fritter are good. Duck in plum sauce was very poor, not whole breast and very fatty so quite disappointing compared to others which cook. Whole breast properly. Lots of onion and pepper to fill out the container.

Best Chinese takeaway we have had in years

Foods always stop on however really disappointed in the size of the chow mein for £5.80 - for context it came in a small rice aluminium tray usually it’s one of the bigger ones

Delivery was very early, driver quite rude about having to call as we weren't expecting it so soon. Shame because the food is excellent, but won't be ordering a delivery again.

Takeaway was ok a lot of onions far to many only 2 prawns in the dish 👎 but apart from that it was ok

There was no email to say food was on the way. I asked for the bell to be rung but the courier just knocked on the door (I don't always hear a knock unless at front of the house). Food could have been a little hotter.

Used to get curry with basic rice included, now confusing selections and price on menu page, you only see you pay for it when in basket and make final selections on the Just Eat App.

Food ok, delivery was 1hr & 20, & delivery driver was ever so over happy & friendly....never spoke 1 word!!

Usually very good but this meal just wasn't right. Veggie meal had an oily taste. Chicken wasn't good quality, and apparently tasted wrong. Very disappointed but I think we'll be giving them a miss in future.

We chose Wai Ho as it was local, we hoped the food might arrive hot. Part of the order was acceptable and what I had hoped for, the other unfortanately inedible. My friend ordered a chop suey roll, which tasted of curry, a problem as she has intolerance to curry powder, but this was not stated on the menu - also the deep fried pork balls didn't appear to be cooked all the way through. They were very hot, but the batter on some of them was liquid on the inside and the pork was too pink (undercooked?) to eat.

First time ordering from Wai -Ho. Had veg Chow Mein and chrispy sweet & sour chicken. Tasty meals, chips nice. Arrived hot and on time. Will be trying other dishes on menu.

Decent enough meals but need to start cutting beef & chicken into smaller pieces as they are far to big & usually a bit fatty because of this. Please consider doing this in the future

Could not fault a thing. We tried this place for the first time as our usual one was closed and everyone preferred it from here. Hopefully a new fav.

We always have amazing food from here, always hot on arrival and plenty of meat in the food. Tonight's meal was fantastic, defo highly recommend wai ho.

My second time ordering from here and it's the best! I've tried 5 other local Chinese takeaways but Wai Ho is now my number 1! Ordered chicken chow mein tonight and it was huge and packed with meat! Also loved the beansprouts side order! 100% recommend!!

Got house special cow mein tonight and a house special chow mein in hot wok sauce the hot wok one had 1 prawn in and the other had none when I rang up to complain I got called a liar if I never had my granddaughter for the night I'd have gave them it back whont be going back

Really enjoyed the satay chicken chow mein but my family had some chips and sauce and they said the chips were terrible, tough and over cooked, would buy from here again but avoid the chips next time

We order from here all the time as it is the best Chinese take out in the area. The food is always stunning, warm and full of flavour. We did feel a bit adventurous tonight and ordered the deep friend crispy orange chicken, I was expecting lovely little bits of crispy chicken in orange sauce so was surprised to open a contained to a battered sliced chicken breast, the orange sauce was in a separate container and it was absolutely vile (tasted like warmed up orange squash). The rest of the food was absolutely stunning as always, I would highly recommend 😊

Lovely food but quite pricey. However, I won't downvote the quality because it tasted amazing. The ribs are cut in annoying way so that you get less than what you pay for.

Salt & chilli spare ribs were awful - just lumps of fat and grissle. Chicken on the satay skewered was so chewy it was almost inedible. Thought we would try here for a change but never again

The food that came had no taste whatsoever. I order from here all the time and it’s normally beautiful however this time it was not. I called wai ho and they would not come and collect the food and reimburse me. I could not eat the food it was completely tasteless so I went to bed hungry and very disappointed!!!

I am not used to waiting 1 1/2 hours for delivery. That was the stated time on ordering. The Food was getting cold when delivered, had to reheat but was very tasty. Charging for rice as an add on makes the meals very expensive but I suppose that’s Just Eats fault !!!!!!!!

Food from here is always exceptional if I had to give any criticism it’s maybe the bag of prawn crackers is quite small but they are proper bowl shaped and fresh.

Food was very tasty and full of flavour. Ordered it for a certain time and was bang on time. Would definitely order again.

Ordered 1 salt & pepper chicken & 1 sweet & sour, got 2 sweet & sour which did not taste good. Tasted a bit vinegary and oily.

A bit pricey but damnnnn worth the money

I ordered chicken and chilli and garlic along with chicken and black bean and only the chicken in black bean came. Really disappointed as I’ve been a customer for 6 years. The last 3 orders haven’t been up to the usual standard and after only receiving half of my food last night I’ll probably try a different takeaway next time. So disappointed.
