very very poor. ordered in past and been very nice. tonight was bland, no punch. Garlic nan had no taste. Bomba potatoe had no spice/flavour. onion baji was probs nicest on plate. really disappointed as chose them over Taste of Indian tonight. £32 down the pan. won't be be back

If you get their munchy box then ask for the naan separate because the sauce makes everything soggy. The quantity you get is pretty decent so it’s still worth a crack

I have been a loyal customer here for years. I don't know what has happened to this place. tonight was probably the worst Indian food I have ever had. half an hour late. missing items under cooked chips and raw nan. everything in the bag was soaked with condensation. Full meal went in the bin. Will definitely not be ordering from here again. Disgusting and a waste of good money

I never leave bad reviews, but this food was poor. I ordered a chicken bhuna and mushroom pilau and the curry was mostly just diced onion, it wasn't strongly flavoured. The rice was quite tasteless as well. I'm only pointing this out to give them the chance to improve, although I won't be returning. Not terrible, but there are lots of better places out there

Watery masala sauce, very tasteless, chips were green, onion salad had no taste

Lovely onion bhajis! I ordered a shahi masala which is meant to be mild and creamy like a normal masala but this was rather spicy for me and I had to leave half the sauce, which I was abit disappointed about.

ordered a munchy box but the chips were undercooked and hard in the middle therefore inedible. the curry sauce was also really watery and left a pool of water at the bottom of the pizza box. naan bread was also inedible as it was very soggy from the water

Food was early so that was good, curry was also good. Chips were like oven chips and the chutney was so watery and looked like fruit juice.

Had a couple of mediocre meals from here now. Tonights offering was a combination of missing chips, smashed poppadoms, a curry that was very sparce on meat and a delivery driver who rang my intercom incessantly before I could even stand up from my chair. Won't be ordering from here again 😕

Food cold on arrival. Bought Munch Box and meat was very thick and chewy. Chips undercooked and Naan bread soggy. Everything had just a weird taste. Had food from here plenty of times before and it's always been nice and edible, not sure why tonight was different.

My recent experience with the Indian takeaway from this restaurant left much to be desired. Having heard positive reviews, I was excited to try their offerings, particularly the Vegetable Passanda and Saag Paneer. However, my anticipation quickly turned into disappointment. The Vegetable Passanda lacked the vibrant flavors I associate with this dish. The curry seemed dull and lacked the depth of spices that make Indian cuisine so enticing. The vegetables, instead of being a medley of succulent delights, were rather bland and overcooked. Moving on to the Saag Paneer, I was equally let down. The spinach puree lacked the rich, creamy consistency I expect in this classic dish. The paneer cubes were disappointingly tough, devoid of the soft texture that usually complements the spinach blend. The overall quality of both dishes fell short of my expectations for authentic Indian cuisine. It felt like the kitchen had taken shortcuts in preparing the meals, sacrificing the essential flavors that make these dishes memorable. In addition to the taste, the portion sizes were underwhelming, leaving me unsatisfied despite the high prices. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant for those seeking a true Indian culinary experience. There are plenty of other establishments that deliver far superior flavors and authenticity.

Thought I'd try somewhere different for a change...Wasn't great, wasn't terrible.... just felt like the whole thing lacked any effort. nan bread was like a dry pitta bread. You need to try harder guys. The market is way too competitive to be so forgettable 🤷‍♂️

Used to go here often but the last time I ordered I sent it back due to the chips being frozen chips you buy out of a super market and asked is they could send out usual chunky chips but they said they don't do them and have changed them worse than chips cooked in an oven at home.

Nice apart from chicken was very dry

Forest Hall never lets me down, great food, excellent service, and decent prices, my favourite local take away, second to none. The staff are so friendly and wecoming, others should take note.

Plain curry was an expensive bowl of oil. Got plain lamb curry with about five small pieces of lamb and a very very oily sauce which had no flavour at all. Rest of food was great but would have been better with a carton of curry sauce than this lamb curry. Probably try once more as normally quite good and don’t know if this was a different chef but if this happens again will have to try somewhere else.

After being delayed, delivery time was 15m late

food lovely as always but first time ordering Chips and for £3 it was less than a handful. Personally i would have expected atleast half a bag but this was probably quarter of a bag if you could say that. i love this place and have never had an issue but don't think i will order Chips again.
