Wah Fu Chinese Restaurant in Belfast

I havent seen message sayin they work cash only, there is close ATM but charging fee

Ordered a couple vegetable dishes and there was a piece of meat in 2 of the dishes. Delivery was quite fast and good service over the phone when ordering. However, I wasn't satisfied with the food.

We had a lovely birthday dinner for a friend here. Comfortable atmosphere and the food was excellent. Personal and prompt service. An ideal evening and highly recommended.

Best Chinese in Belfast, we get takeaway from here all the time. Honey Chilli Chicken and Salted Chilli chicken in particular, very good. Curry is lovely too.

Hands down the nicest Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten from, and the staff are super nice very attentive but not overbearing. Great selection and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. Place is also spotless clean.

This is our usual Chinese takeaway and is usually the best in Belfast but tonight the curry sauce had a horrible burnt taste to it and the chicken used in the salted chilli chicken was completely different, very small nuggets that were dry and tasted very cheap. The chips were like French fries, overcooked and not nice, not the chips they normally have. Altogether was so disappointing and the burnt curry made a lot of the food inedible.

It's an amazing restaurant. we need one in Bangor. Food was the best I've ever tasted. Staff are great.

Very popular Chinese for both dining in and Takeaway. They offer card payment which is extremely convenient, unlike any of the other local Chinese takeaways. Portions could be slightly larger and with more protein sources.

Does .more carryout food,plain and simples freezing inside restaurant coke £3 not value for money

They put more emphasis on serving take away customers. Sit in customers like us were left waiting

Used to be our families favourite place. Last few times we were in was the worst service. Last week we were dining. The service was so bad and no apologies. Forgetting things that have been ordered. Coming to the table after 30 minutes cancelling food items saying can't be served. We won't be back. Came out very unsatisfied. 👋 👋

The prawn Foo Yung is amazing...the best I've ever eaten. Cooked to perfection and so fresh.

Spotless clean, gorgeous food, lovely engaging staff. This is a highly loved restaurant by our family. Take out is just as clean, fresh and tasty as sitting in. Very reasonable pricing and great care taken around your experience and Covid safety. Highly recommend

Highly disappointed not as good as used to be to expensive for quality of food seem to concentrate on take away poor portions waited over an hour for starters!! Main course below average £2.50 for small bottles of water !!! Phone constantly ringing could not wait to leave !!!

Disappointed with service tonight and of late. Not ideal having to wait on food after being told a specific time to show up for collection. This needs to be improved

My family went here for my Sister's birthday. To be Frank I wasn't too impressed. The food was nice but not what we would call restaurant quality more like a good take away quality which it was as well, which was a problem in itself. Food. Firstly food was tasty but again not the normal restaurant quality. If you were at home you would say it was a great take away but to eat in you would expect a proper Chinese restaurant experience. My Sister's beef curry had no veg bar onions, which it was swimming with. My salt and chilli chicken was a bit overdone so it was a bit too crispy and not soft at all. However it was lovely. My Niece ordered the vegetarian chow mein and it arrived with beef in it. Service. This is were it really fell down. We arrived 10 minutes early for our 5pm booking. The restaurant wasn't open yet and the waitress didn't seem pleased to let us in. It too an inordinate amount of time to take our orders. Firstly they didn't have any prawns for sesame prawn toast so I tried to order spring rolls and was told that I couldn't order of the two different menus, which was the early bird and the A La Carte. Our main course arrived exactly two hours after we arrived byt which point we were starving! There was no water on the table and we had to ask for it. One waitress appeared with a small glass of water the other finally came with a jug and glasses. Take Away. We didn't realise that they did take away as well. The phone rang incessantly which wasn't always answered so the entire time we were there the phone was constantly ringing which didn't make for a relaxing meal. Secondly they allowed people to ring in their takeaway order and then come and collect it. This meant that whilst we were trying to eat our meal there were people behind us queuing for their order. Again not very relaxing. Overall the food was decent enough, it was reasonable too but we won't be back to eat here. It just wasn't what we were expecting.

Ordered at 6.55pm at 8.35pm after several calls still no food .. it was my fault I made the mistake of ordering from these amateurs

Salted chilli ribs were bones in batter no meat lol waiting time sitting in was very slow! Wouldn’t get takeaway ether the wait seemed very long too. Do not waste money, certainly wouldn’t recommend

Got take away,salt and chilli rib,,were all batter hardly any meat,beef curry was chewy and tasteless, very disappointed, wudnt recommend

Food was nice just waited a bit long to come to the table and a lot of people coming in for deliveries standing beside are table.

On Monday, hospitality are been told to ask for jab pass ( first two weeks not enforceable )yet these guys have already started discriminating against customers.justice Minister was asked by why she's not telling PSNI to police it, she says it's down to the businesses to enforce it. That's because if PSNI do it, the liability for discrimination comes back on the Executive, so the hospitality sector are at massive risk of being held liable for breaking existing laws.This restaurant clearly need to remember who was hitting the streets on their behalf when they were all told to close. Anyone who is told, 'no jab or neg test, no entry' needs to stand their ground and remind them of the 2010 Equality Act which covers every single kind of discrimination.AVOID this facist dump like the plague

I won't go near the place.. It has introduced fascism and is forcing people to disclose their health status.. Who needs such as place.. I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere any I encourage everyone else to use their money to tell these fascists they aren't wanted...

Came here for a few meaningful family dinners, never disappoints! Staff are so so nice and the food quality is delicious and good!

Usually great service but tonight was terrible. I understand that you were extremely busy but it shouldn't have taken you 1/2 hour to realise that my food wouldn't be ready for another 1/2 hour and phone me to ask if I still wanted it. Also you should have a message for the phone that you are too busy to take anymore orders. Will be a while before I'll be back

Walked into an empty restaurant at 6pm on a Friday night asking for a table for two people & having only 2 tables occupied at the time staff insisted that were fully booked. Very poor service

Called into order Chinese takeaway must say wasn't disappointed its the second time an all was really tasty the way i remember Chinese tasting it shows in the amount of people entering the Chinese definitely my mew place to eat .

Got out here load weeks back and it's absolutely disgusting I was very disappointed as I loved this place food was always gorgiz. I don't no way happened but it was disgusting the way I was handed my food bits of wire from scrubbing pads in the curry chips were freezing and chicken wasn't cooked the best and I ordered a big amount and was all thrown out..

Got a takeaway here and found the premises well cared for and clean and plenty of staff who were very friendly and efficient. No language problems. Good menu choices and a very well kept kitchen ( I had a good look round whilst waiting😁) with chef's who worked very fast and had clean and organised workstations which was impressive. Food was excellent, cooked from scratch with good fresh ingredients and very tasty. I will go back, very impressed.

It’s a westernized Chinese restaurant in Finaghy that does what it says on the tin. Cleaned our plates every time and every dish we’ve tried has been great.

Not a bad place for a Chinese but there are much better options out there, although they do offer a good three-course meal deal for £13.95 and the restaurant is clean and comfortable

The duck is amazing and so is the satay. 5 stars*****

Fantastic service and food i will defiantly be back

Decided to bring the family out for dinner tonight. We went for the 3 course meal. The starter I had was ribs. 3 ribs with not much meat but it is a meal deal so can't complain. The main I had was salted chilli chicken. The wife had the Peking chicken and both were okay. Then major issue was I had two young kids with us. My kids are very used to sitting in restaurants. However after 45 minutes waiting for our dinner plates to be cleared and the desserts to come, we got our coats on and I went up to pay as it was beyond a joke. The girl then said what about dessert. I responded saying we couldn't wait any longer and that 45 minutes waiting between main and dessert was awful. Especially when takeaway customers had came in and ordered and had got theirs and left. Her response was I CANT take it off the bill so you can take it away with you if you like. Not much point in trying to drive home without desserts melting. Overall we will definitely not be back, it's a pity as we always look for places to recommend to our friends round the area. Sadly this is not one of them. Go if you are in the area and not in a hurry at all as the food is okay.

Food was very good but service poor. We waited for forty minutes to have the table cleared and order dessert. In the end we left without dessert. Very disappointed as we usually enjoy eating here.

Really great value and tasty lunch menu. Only negatives were that the restaurant was freezing, we had to keep our coats on and also I asked for a bit of sauce with my salted chilli chicken and then they added 2.50 to the bill for that. I thought that was a little bit excessive considering a three course lunch is 8.50 and all I wanted was a small bowl of sauce. But overall, really great food and friendly staff.

Didn't know what all the fuss was about to be honest. It wasn't rotten by all means but I've ate in better.

Food beautiful def go back,if you turn your heating on absolutely freezing sat with my coat on most of my meal,as other members of the public did,please take on board turn ur heating on,it will impress ur clients and they will return,cant fault the food

Curry is tasty but not spicy at all. Prawn crackers very hit and miss. Sit in better than takeaway . We live beside here our takeout was cold had to heat up in microwave

Caught them at the wrong time? It was going so well starters great then more people arrived and the phone ringing in take away Orders! We had a wait then for the mains - Everyone around got served it seemed! Mains arrived One wrong the other the chicken appeared to have been reheated!

Really nice Chinese. Unfortunately asked for chicken in black bean and they made a mistake and gave us salt and chili chicken. Was still nice though. Spring rolls are every large and wouldn't be the best. Chicken in plum sauce was my favourite dish. Very popular spot for both sit-in and takeaway.
