Great spot we arrived late so didn't eat but staff were great and drinks were nice

Went here on a Sunday evening with a group of 6. The staff were very friendly and very attentive, we had been sat down, ordered, got drinks got our food and eat our food all within 45 minutes. The food itself was really nice, very good portions especially with the loaded fries and the dumplings were very nice as well!

A traditional pub, very nice atmosphere.

Quick service with friendly staff. The food was good, portion size great, and not overpriced. The mocktails are super good.

I was recently here casual drinks with my friends when I went to the toilet and walked into a staff room type area as the toilets were not marked clearly, then afterwards when I tried to buy a drink at the bar I was denied as I had been acting 'suspiciously'. It felt like a very unwelcome environment as the bar staff were rude and unhelpful, will not be back.

Outstanding food, there cauliflower wings are second to none, my favourite things ever i come here just for them! amazing service and quick. brilliant drinks, cocktails. couldn’t Recommend enough always loved town square 💖 ps never remove the Cauliflower wings!!! 😂

Recently arranged a 30th birthday here in their "middle room' for food and drinks.Was a breeze to arrange thanks to their quick responses to emails. All the guests were commenting that it was a great wee spot. Staff are lovely, would recommend!

Nice spot, good atmosphere but same small, depressing selection of beers that every other pub offers for the same extortianate prices. Not really doing anything new or original.

We hosted our Christmas Dinner for our company here and the folks at Town Square were amazing from start to finish. They were incredibly organized and straight-forward with our booking, as well as super accommodating for diverse menus and dietary restrictions. The Christmas Dinner selections were top-notch and everyone (all ~50 of us) had an amazing time. Would highly recommend Town Square to host your events.

We only stopped for a cocktail, because the little private booths outside with the heater on the table was really cosy. But both ordered a amaretto sour (it was not busy at all) after checking in with the waitress after. 15 minutes we could see the bartender not giving any shits at all and talked with her coworkers/friends some more before starting our order. After a total of 25 minutes we received a small martini glass with mainly sugar syrup in it and not much alcohol.

We stopped off here for a drink and a snack and were pleasantly surprised. It’s immaculate inside, the drinks were decent and the food was surprisingly good. Would recommend it here.

Very nice. Something going on all day long. Like the rest of Botanic Ave, essentially students. Highly organized store. The staff has it under control. Orders also via QR via app. Good beer selection, good food, good prices. Sitting outside on two sides. Always sun. When it gets cold, there are heaters outside - not exactly ecological. Very nice.

We visited here on 22/09/2024. The food was ok. The chicken goujons served to my child and the chicken stack served to my wife was tough and very chewy. The smash burger was good. The Guinness was an ok pint but I’ve had better in Belfast.

I came here 21 Sept 2024 and had the smash burger, which is the only beef burger currently on the menu. It was a truly small burger - it seemed maybe 4oz (100ish grams) or less of meat which was very salty and certainly contained filler such as breadcrumbs. For £15 this was quite a disappointment, and I left hungry. I noticed restaurants nearby selling a burger for half the price, which given what I was sold, would seem the more reasonable price for the product. My friend who came with me and lives locally said the burgers at Town Square used to be considerably bigger than the one I was served.

Loved every aspect of this place. It is such a good vibe with quick service and great options.

Great grub, warm and friendly service and a cheery atmosphere. I've eaten here a few times at different points in the day - breakfast, lunch and dinner menu are all great, staff are top notch and very accommodating. Wait times aren't too bad either! Always love coming back to Town Square when I'm in the city 😊

We didn't order food but the cocktails were amazing. Really fun and vibey spot. The staff were super lovely and really quick. You don't order at the bar, you order from your table via phone or the staff walking around, this is to stop congestion in the main area which I really liked. This system kept the place from feeling crowded or messy. Beautiful design inside with lovely artwork and furniture. Feels really cohesive and intentional.

Ordered Fish Tacos, was a little heavy on the salt, and mayo. Wish it came with Lime. Other than that, fish was cooked perfectly.

Been here a few times for beers and drinks and it's always been good. Today there were 6 adults and an 8 month old baby for breakfast. Whilst the menu is short the food, coffee , staff and chilled out atmosphere was excellent and we were able to book online

please be careful this place charged me twice and i found it very difficult to get my refund I had to contact restaurant on numerous occasions and then had to return to restaurant before I got my money back please be very careful with your bank details.

Tell me this place is a parody please ... Sat in bar gale blowing through open door on a wet windy day . Ordered a pint of Guiness poured in basically one pour no wait when I seen the £6.10 charge I nearly walked out..... slapped down in front of me no beer mat no thank you Bar person coughing into her hands and lifting glasses and serving food without washing them ... Place looks like it was thrown together as a money maker zero atmosphere, nothing would entice me to ever come back here 😒

Nice shop. The burgers are very tasty and so is the beer. Order and pay directly from the table using your smartphone, very friendly service.

We popped in here to pass some time before heading off to the airport for an evening flight. Really can't complain, I had some pork tacos and a Guinness. Prices were reasonable, quiet enough setting for the time it was. Nice setting inside.

Sat outside on a glorious, sunny Saturday afternoon. Plenty of outdoor seating and QR codes on the table for ordering. It transpired however that it was quicker to go inside to the bar to order rather than use the QR code. Place is very understaffed. Price of pints is very expensive - 6.50 for Guinness or Outcider.

A quiet and pleasant place to have a coffee. Plus it eats very well. I 100% recommend spending some time at this cafe-restaurant. I really like the hot chocolates that are served in a glass bottle, so you can serve it several times. The white chocolate one is very good! Also orange chocolate. I also recommend the burgers, they are for me the best in Belfast, and they come very well served with sides. Quiet environment, with many young people but not noisy.

Ordering system can be a bit of a pain, but a great brunch spot!

Chopped up pieces of chicken on a bed of airfried chips with some bottled sauce drizzled on top. £14 Not impressed. Guinness was the only thing that was good.

My son and I were in the area because we were going to see HAWKWIND in the Mandela Hall. It was raining fairly heavily so we quickly looked around for somewhere to eat and found TOWN SQUARE. We were not disappointed. We were there at 5pm so it wasn't full but I've no doubt on a Friday or Saturday it most certainly would be. My son had the Buffalo Stack and I had the KFC Burger both were lovely. The burger came with KIMCHI which I've never had and it was great. We washed both meals down with half pints of Guinness, also very nice. The service was friendly and efficient and the music was good. Would definitely be back.

We popped in for a drink in the afternoon,the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and we're super chilled about our kids being there. Lovely decor in a great part of town. Highly recommend!

Good bar with very helpful staff.

I would not recommend this place. We went on St. Paddy's day for brunch, and while the staff was definitely nice, it was clear they were understaffed, despite it not being all that busy in the restaurant. You order via QR code, which is fine, but it was incredible difficult to get a staff members attention unless they were dropping off food, and the food and drink took a VERY long time to come out. Again, this isn't the staff members fault - it was clear they were all working very hard. But management understaffed them which made it had for the service to be good. I would not go back, even though the food was decent.

Burgers we had were the best around the area. Servers were friendly, atmosphere was good. Lots of people (and younger crowds). Music was constantly playing which was nice, although it got a little loud and poppy at times during our first visit. I think they were having some audio issues, hasn’t been like that since.

Drive 30 miles as the advertise a mega pint an when you arrive they inform you they only keep once glass shudnt even be advertised

Sadly not a great experience. Service was really slow despite it not being busy. My cauliflower wings were so awful they were inedible, cool, burnt and the coating so tough. When I sent them back they did remove them from our bill and offered me a free coffee if the bill which never happend. I ordered a coffee with cream and got a black coffee and an offer of milk as they didn't have cream, at that point I just gave up. I'm all fairness the rest of my party enjoyed their meals maybe I was just unlucky but definitely off-putting, personally I wouldn't go back.

Overall no issues here. Staff and service are excellent. Food is great. Burger buns without seeds is a bonus. Nice pint and cocktails. Only down side for us, music is good but loud.

Food was great, a touch pricey for what you get, but losing a star due to cleanliness - table wasn't cleaned/sticky and one of the glasses given ended up being dirty however staff apologised and gave us a clean one. Other than that meal was great and table service is done through QR code/app which worked as needed. Vegetarian options were clearly labelled too.

The food was fabulous, hot and fast. Big thank you to the two girls that took care of us tonight, peggy and saskia. They were super sweet and informative about the menu, even directing us towards some of their favourites!

We were a party of 15, we hadn't pre-booked but they accommodated us no problem. The food was excellent and drink lovely. Not loving the idea of not being able to use cash. Very friendly and patient staff. Lovely place overall.

The food here is actually pretty decent, though the portions aren't massive. My main reason for the low rating is the frankly insulting app driven service the restaurant/bar rely on which actually takes the Mick and makes me want to walk away from the world we live in. It's gimmicky and offensive.

I can't comment on the food as I didn't have any but there seemed to be a few people in enjoying their food. I was in on a Monday and had 3 pints but most people were eating and it was otherwise quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Just back from this pretentious place..waitress brought drinks..dropped the tray of drinks over my disabled friend ..never even suggested a free drink for mishap..the gentleman was soaked. Gents toilets smelled like a sewer..shall never be back.

Overpriced gentrified bar. No atmosphere.

The menu is a bit basic, primarily consisting of fried chicken,fries or burgers. Variations on this (Korean,spicy). That’s not necessarily a bad thing provided these components are done well. I had a the Korean chicken burger and it was good, however due to lack of sauce and the two fried chicken patties it was a bit dry. I’m not sure if I’d go back. The staff were very helpful and attentive though.

Popped in for a drink no food however looked amazing! Was on my own and half way through my pint I had to nip to the toilet I asked the bar staff if I could leave it on the bar they said no problem came back they saw me coming a popped it back on the bar will definitely be back on my next trip! Great team work and smiles all around.

My mate wanted to go as the social media made it look great for a pint of Guinness. We checked it out and the Guinness was very average and the place just seemed a good 20 years out of date. Zero craic and the staff tried to take my glass away when it wasn't empty.

Tried to go for breakfast this morning didn’t seem friendly at all waited thinking someone would ask what we wanted to order but no one came I went and asked a girl who worked their and she said just use code wasn’t friendly at all and when I tried using the code it said soft drinks were unavailable and couldn’t change the egg to scrambled instead won’t be back

A midweek visit for cocktails prior to a Dinner date in another location. A disappointingly short list of cocktails. My partner choose a coffee based cocktail which she rated as 5*. I went for a G&T. A range of gins available together with a choice of tonic.

Schöne und ziemlich modern und stilvoll renovierte Bar mitten in Botanic, gegenüber des Bahnhofs. Card-Only. Entweder man bestellt an der Bar oder sehr praktisch über Smartphone Order & Pay direkt am Tisch. Habe es ausprobiert, die Bestellung kam innerhalb von 5 Minuten. Angenehmes Publikum, freundliches Personal, schöner Außenbereich mit Sitzbänken und Heizlampen, die man bei Bedarf selbst ein- und ausschalten kann. Mein Reuben-Sandwich war exzellent, das Bier in Irland ist es ja sowieso.
