Food was delicious. A bit watery for a taco and was a little hard to eat but delicious overall. Next time I’ll get the bowl instead. Carnitas was my fave.

Food is decent but pretty expensive, the place is quite loud so it's difficult to hear the server and for them to hear you. Also disappointed that they removed the milkshake machine...

Boojum used to be my fav mexican - tasty w/ fantastic value for money. Unfortunately the quality and portion size has decreased - the burrito was bland and small while the prices have gone up. The loud music and dirty floors were also disturbing. I cannot recommend anymore.

Absolutely horrendous order. Usually the best value for money and great food. My order took 75 minutes to get here and when it did the burrito bowl was half empty. Absolutely horrendous then when I phoned up the boy couldn’t speak a lick of English nor understand a word I said. Last time I’ll be going near it. 15 quid all in with delivery for about 4 pieces of chicken n a few spoons of rice complete joke very disappointing

Decided to get lunch for our family today while in Belfast. After ordering our food which was less than easy, having to deal with rude staff. I was told that cash wasn’t accepted. I paid by card but was disappointed that there was no clear signage on the door or visible in store as the website says there should be! Just a small thing in the corner of the door. Fortunately there are plenty of places to get nice food in Belfast, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Good value for money. Had the burrito and it was massive. Always such good food. Boojum never disappoints.

Went thru a long queue, just to tell me they don't take cash and got the wrong order they missed some fillings and got extra charged for them

As a lover of boojum since it opened food has seriously went downhill. And don't get me started on certain staff members no interest in customer service one in particular (not from belfast) he is the most rudest disinterested staff member being in the hospitality myself customer service is utmost priority as at the end of the day he wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for the customer. And also staff need training on how to wrap burritos properly just a complete mess for the price you are charging

Ordered a burrito today at 1530pm at Victoria square. The man serving us was rude and needs more training in customer service. My partner and I both ordered a burrito and said we wanted different toppings. The man asked my boyfriend his selection at each step and then would put the same on mine even though I would try to stop him and explained I wanted something different. This happened for rice, then beans, then meat. He seemed unfriendly and refused to look at me despite myself and partner being completely pleasant and normal. I feel this must be cultural or sexist because I can’t understand why he would otherwise seemingly go out of his way to ignore me. In the end, a female member next to him overheard and took over and served us as one would expect. There was no apology and he laughed about it to the next customer. Steps should be taken by management to address this and ensure it isn’t commonly happening.

Really super burritos bowls 😋 however the portions seem to have gotten smaller. You used to get the brown filled right the way to the top, now it's about 3/4 full

Won’t be back, after an hour round trip from Comber to Belfast for a take away and for the 2nd time in 2 weeks I ended up with such a disappointment compared to the Botanic Road premises. Last order I received was completely wrong and after driving a half hour home I didn’t fancy returning for a refund. Just home after getting another meal, no chipolte sauce as ordered, extra fajita veg was about 6/7 slices of peppers, very little pork carnitas and the rice was pretty bland, very disappointing.

Lovely Mexican burritos. Only criticism I can give is that it can be very busy. Would love to see Cash being used in payment as not everyone can use a debit or credit card.

The prices have increased a lot over the last few years; that's pretty standard unfortunately but the portion sizes have decreased a lot over that time. It's still delicious but we don't get it as often.

Not as good as it used to be. Portions seem to have gotten smaller. There is one particular guy who always gives you smaller potions than others. He doesn't pause to ask you which type of beans you want, makes the decision for you. I miss the old Boojum.

Ordered three hard shell tacos and received the most pathetic quantity of fillings. Barely any minced beef and a stupid ice cream scoop sized lump of guac that overwhelmed every other taste. Finished all three in a few bites in no time at all. Staff members made no attempt at eye contact. No napkins either. I suspect their reputation has gone to their heads at this particular location.

What happened to the old Boojum?! All the friendly staff have been replaced and the atmosphere is ice cold. The new staff prioritise the crowd of Deliveroo drivers rather than customers in the shop. Today we stood at the counter, no queue, and were completely ignored by all three staff members for ten minutes while they prepared one Deliveroo order, not even a hello or "I'll be right with you". We left without ordering.

What has happened to Boojum? This current incarnation of Belfast beloved Boojum is a pale shadow of its former glories. The Chilli burrito comes with what could best be described as a tea soon of chilli, so little in fact that I was hard pushed to identify any in my burrito. The priority has shifted from in store customers, to the legion of deliveroo drivers who now litter the front of the queue. Our burrito sat for about five minutes on the counter getting cold, while the deliveroo orders simply skipped to the front of the queue. Previously a Boojum was a real treat which would be dispatched enthusiastically, however no longer, we could even bring ourselves to finish our almost vegetarian, cold meal. The seating area is excellent, unless you are short or have legs. For unknown reasons there is a scaffolding pole under the table in exactly the same position as most people would store their legs. Expensive, slow, cold food, smaller portions, uncomfortable seating.....COME BACK OLD BOOJUM!

I ordered a vegetarian burrito bowl, that included veg and guacamole. The portion size was far too small for what I paid for, the bowl was just about half full. They also did not put guacamole, which I paid for. The worst boojum I have had so far. Disgraceful for the price it is.

Chipotle fans of the world: boojum is a copy of chipotle, and is very good.

Used to be a big fan of boojum and would have raved about it. However, as the prices have gone up and up, the portions and therefore quality of the offering has gone down. Called in yesterday for a burrito bowl and for approx £10 I was sorely disappointed. The amount of everything is now easily 1/3rd less than a year or two ago. The server barely put in a scoop of chicken in, in fact he tipped a few bits out of the scoop before he put it in the bowl. The amount of meat has been on the decline for years now but what happened next was a new one. I asked for cheese and sour cream which you can normally rely on at least a good amount - not anymore! A small scoop of cheese and then sour cream squeezed sparingly over the top. You used to get a nice dollop. Not getting one star only because the taste is still good once you find a bit of chicken once in a while in the bowl. Won't be back. I'm not angry, just very very disappointed

Not great at all and expensive for what you actually get. Poor ingredients that were cold. The chicken wasn't great and was all pink and black pieces of meat with some fat and skin. They also don't wrap the burrito properly as they skimp on the foil. Even by following the instructions on the sticker on how to eat the burrito, the ingredients still all fall out as the staff don't seem to have a clue how to wrap properly. My burrito was like a ball instead of rolled and collapsed into the bowl. Won't be coming back here again.

Food was just OK mostly rice ..... very expensive...... 2 chicken boxes off rice n a water each 24pd small spoon off chicken LG amout off dry rice ..... service was great atmosphere wasn't great ya hada share tables with strangers ..... unpleasant experience

A really good chain of Mexican fast food. The burrito was great tasting and the shear size of it was great. The service was efficient and friendly and I would definitely visit again.

Bit meh. Burrito thrown together without much care and flavours were blander than I expected. Really thought it was going to be better.

Very disappointed that this fast food place do not accept cash! My 15 year old son had gone in with his friends. He had both cash and also money on his bank card as I had topped it up before he left. He placed his order and got to till and his card declined. He had put in his pin but clearly had issues with the card. So he came away with no food. I rang the place and asked could I pay over the phone with my own card and asked why they do not accept cash. The answer was 'I dunno I think it was coz of covid' then said 'no' they would not let me pay also by phone. Greatly disappointed. Customer care was very poor and I certainly will not be visiting this store myself. Surely other people only prefer to use cash. Sort this out guys!!!

You always know what you're getting with Boojum and that's a great burrito made just how you like it, with or without a wrap.

I love this place, it would've been nicer if they had the music volume a bot lower. Staff and customers could not understand each other as it is very loud.

Got take away Burrito Bowl! Can't beat these. Chicken, black beans, lime and coriander rice, sour cream, cheese and Salsa Verde!

Nice restaurant, I'm sure the food is nicer earlier on in the day. I ordered the beef and it needed salt, the burrito bowl I ordered could use more seasoning as it was bland and lukewarm.

If you are hungry then it's place you can try out. It wasn't a pleasure to watch the guy making your food. He was in a very bad mood and the tables were all very dirty. I don't like to clean my table before I can sit down.

Boojum on botanic was a regular visit in the past, but had gone downhill badly in recent years. Tried the Vic Square today, £8.50 for a burrito bowl - chicken was very poor quality, portion size was just ok. To be honest I'd avoid Boojum altogether, it's a far cry from what it was.

Called today as haven’t been in a while, queue was up to the door but it was lunchtime and thought it would move pretty quick. Unfortunately they actually stopped serving customers in the actual restaurant queue as they were just concentrating on online orders and just eat. Multiple orders flowing out the door while people queuing inside are not being served-how is this acceptable? Waited for over half an hour and didn’t even get an apology or any politeness whilst some even danced around the kitchen area. The quality and quantity are nothing like they used to be but yet the prices have hiked drastically. A very poor experience all round.

Continues to disappoint with each visit. The food is no longer fresh, it's reheated chicken, undercooked veg, and the care and consideration given by the staff reminds me of the school dinner days when it was slapped on your plate.

It's just ok. Owners knew when to sell up. This chain has had its day and is on the slide.

Terrible! Rice has WAY too much seasoning, to salty, burrito not rolled correctly and fell apart. Portion size is a rip off. I've been a customer for many years. Oh boy has this place gone downhill or what!! Yuk, horrible salty, sloppy food. Prices have gone up, but portion size gone down. I wouldn't of wanted more any, not very nice at all. DO NOT EAT HEAR FOLKS, ITS A RIP OFF FOR BAD FOOD.

Worst customer service we have ever experienced in Belfast. We were new to Boojum and instead of helping us or atleast explaining, the staffs were rude and didn’t bother to even help.

Delicious 😋. One portion is quite but g and fulfilling. Totally worth money and one of the best burrito I ever had.

Went in for a burrito which was good , tho i wish they had more spicey salsas to choose from since the ghost chilli one wasnt spicey enough for me.

Boojum is a legend among me and my peers so when I travelled over to northern Ireland for the 2nd time I knew I had to check out boojum again. Foods ok kinda expensive and the taste overall is kind of just nothing but you do get a decent amount of food for your money and boojum is just a funny word to say outloud

Food has gone up in price and pretty roughly wrapped burrito , the restaurant itself was dirty seats, tables floor was filthy and walls need painted Staff need to slow down when preparing the order paying more attention to customer and it takes little to clean the tables and ni area etc Couldn’t even sit to eat the food had to take out

This place has horrible employees who do not know how to wrap it why burrito feel apart straight away and they do not point out the fact it is card only when eating i discovered pink chicken which has made quite Ill if you have the choice do not eat here

Staff is fantastic! Very helpful, professional and friendly even when this place is busy which is almost all the time 😁 The place is clean and tidy. Food is good, and fresh but not as amazing as it used to be when Boojum first opened in the mid early 2000's. I guess popularity and volume of sale lead management to seek quicker ways and more cost effective ways to get food out the chain and remain within hygiene, health and safety regulations...

When you go down to Boojum and eat in store it is so incredible, hot and great value for money. Every single time we order for delivery, they get our order wrong. Tonight (as has happened twice before) we got sent two bowls instead of a bowl and burrito as ordered; our guacamole was forgotten despite the fact it costs extra; and our extra salsas were forgotten again despite the extra cost. Terrible service, won’t be going again or recommending. Wanted to put it out there because we tried to give the benefit of the doubt the first and second time they got our deliveries wrong but it’s just a joke now.
