Visited this Wagamamas on route to our hotel and it was as expected. Food was cooked well and the staff were friendly. We had an issue with one of the meals, however Ryan the manager and Julia the waitress sorted immediately after finding out. Great staff and great management. Thanks

Food is very tasty, although service could be improved as didn't really feel like staff cared too much. Noise levels are okay and there is ample seating

Editing my review, as at first rated it low due to not taking bookings, so no guarantee of a table on time if you want it for an occasion. However having eaten there, it was a lovely choice of food and have been back a couple of times. The buns are a favourite so soft and tasty.

Ok the foods overpriced but its speciality but when an 11 year old sees the bill and comments £6 for a orange juice that its even fresh then its a rip off!!!!

Extraordinary service good family atmosphere

I have to agree with most of the negative review on this Wagamama restaurant: my pork ramen was cold and a really small serving of pork. Also the staff is smiling and nice and all, but is untrained therefore they just keep running around aimlessly. The service is therefore slow and sloppy.

Food was great but what really stood out was our server, Kristina (or Kristine? Sorry, name on placemat photo attached), who was professional, lovely and attentive. Great service and great experience all around!

Wonderful date night with the hubby again! He got the pork belly ramen and i got some noodles! Food was impeccable whoever was in the kitchen worked so hard! And we just walked in and got sat right away! 10/10 sandy approved!

We went here today for some lunch, got a table quick, was waiting a little while to be served. Food came out pretty quick. It was okay wasn’t the best. Waited for about 15 minutes for a waitress to come about the bill. Didn’t have any” how was your food/how Is your food” nothing like that at all. Won’t be coming back, manners cost nothing!!

Myself and a friend come here often and we are always greated with a smile. The manager Olly is always polite and goes out of his way to make sure your experience and meal are spot on and always shares his knowledge on certain dishes. Toby our server was polite and helped with all our questions regarding some of the new dishes and made sure we were topped up on drinks throughout our eating experience. I couldn't ask for a more pleasant experience.

Great food, great vibes. I was even given a promocode for free gyoza, which was fantastic. The lady who met me at the entrance the moment I made a step inside, Milie and another guy who served me (don’t know his name I’m afraid) were so welcoming and provided a top tier service, especially regarding the allergies. Will come again for sure.

Amazing, my favourite place to go and especially lovely in whiteley. However it was impossible to get a seat during eat out to help out as you cant book and have to queue. However second time lucky and one hour queue and it was well worth it and delicious as always

Sadly, disappointed. I wanted something a bit " Healthier " , it is BUT ordered the starter , 5 minutes in the main arrived ( wrongly ). Ordered the chicken curry , ended up with sticky rice ( undercooked ) and a few scraps of chicken ( partly my fault , should have sent it back ) A shame .... Maybe just a bad night 🌙

Went for my son's birthday. Was really busy, but the service was still decent. They went out of their way to make sure we had a nice experience for his birthday (especially Raphael).

Really disappointed ordered of Uber eats having enjoyed in the restaurant many times ordered a new dish but was incredibly dry and chewy also my sides tasted nothing like in the restaurant considering I payed over 50£ this was unacceptable will not be ordering delivery again

Still excellent food, although the they forgot about my meal last time. Not great value though.

I don’t know why people are complaining the meals come at different times that’s just how it works. But in busier times it takes a while for food and they start substituting stuff with weird other food.

It saddens me to write this review because we have come here before which was the reason why we returned. •Our gyozas (chicken) were rock hard. •The chicken dish for my daughter was cold and the chicken was very dry. •My fish curry had a lot of rice but a tiny amount of fish. I had that dish recently at a different Wagamama where the portion of fish was substantially bigger. When I asked why the portion sizes are smaller I have been told that the fish is weight and every customer receives 140grams of fish in their curry but they will happily cook some more fish and give it to me- this promised additional fish never arrived. •My beetroot smoothy was served in a small glass with a lot of foam and very little juice itself. It appears to me, that overall that the portion spices of Wagamama have shrunk whilst the prices have not. The service is not attentive and it isn’t enough to employ young and nice to look at staff whilst they can’t do their job properly. It is so important to receive customer satisfaction because bad news spreads quicker than good that is a fact and it is really difficult not to say bluntly stupid to argue about facts. I guess we should have known when we come in because the restaurant was half empty with no queue…. I do not recommend this Wagamama for the above reasons and told our family and friends who live near by to give it a wide berth.

Lovely staff. Food was standard for Wagamama. The only problem was the lack of space between the tables. We were sat on a table for 2 which I did not have enough space to pull my chair out whilst someone was sitting at the other table. I had to climb into it. If you can just request a different seat

We have been looking forward to eating here for a while. So disappointed. Only 2 adults and a child, and each meal arrived 10 minutes apart. The 3rd would have taken longer if I hadn't said. Manager very apologetic and provided 3rd meal free. But if charging so much for meals everything has to be perfect.

Went today for lunch. Ordered pad Thai was a bit too spicy for me. I told them when they asked how the food was…. wow was offered food to be re cooked without the spices. This I really enjoyed. I’m dairy intolerant this was no problem for them. Will definitely be going back. Great team all round…. congratulations Raphael and the team

Well, that was the most expensive dinner considering what we actually ate. We never spent more than £60 in wagamama before and over £75 for soup, bowl of rice, 2 starters, coke and latte is definitely too much. First we got not exactly what we ordered, after bringing the right starter we were informed we wouldn't be charged for the wrong one. Unfortunately we paid in a little of a hurry using app and noticed how big was bill at home, and also then noticed we were chatged for something we didn't order. Maybe also wagamama is getting more expensive. Anyway its the last time for us to eat in wagamama.

2nd time we have visited this branch, it's by way one of my favourite places to eat, menu has lots to choose from, service is great and good value for money.

I’m so sad to write this review - I usually come to whitely Wagas because it’s my favourite!! Been coming for years! However - tonight was such a shame. Me and my partner came for little dinner date and I was sooo excited for this as Wagas is my absolute fav! However, this evening (26/07/24) it was a shambles :( To start, I ordered a special G&T drink which was described as a “lime” garnish drink & when the drink turned up with no Lime, I asked where the lime was and was told “there’s no lime”. We then ordered and our starter turned up (duck gyozas) they were ROCK hard! Never seen anything like it! Awful!!! Then, when told one of the waiters, he pocked the gyoza, shrugged and walked off. Then, whilst waiting for our mains we noticed the staff all throwing food at each other, high fiving and messing around - SO unprofessional!! The staff were legit wearing trackies and girls in small hot pants. Server sitting / laying on the table - just so unprofessional! The mains weren’t horrendous but I had the beef brisket ramen and the noodles were all stuck together. Just so beyond disappointed :( It’s quite an expensive meal and just really poor food& service. (Our server was polite enough and helpful but everyone else was so unprofessional and we felt like we’d landed in a sixth form / college event!)

First, and will be my last visit. We waited to be seated, drinks order was taken, then food order. Drinks arrived quite quickly, food, not so. Firstly a bowl of rice was brought out, we waited, nothing else arrived so we sent the rice back. Then part of the meal arrived, again, nothing else arrived so we started eating, then next part arrived but not the rice, so we asked for it to be brought back. During the long wait for dishes to arrive, we counted 9 delivery people had collected meals. It would seem they take priority over customers in the restaurant. Not impressed at all.

Lovely food, unfortunately very busy so had to wait about 20 minutes before being able to be seated. Otherwise service was good, except we had to ask twice for the additional 3 green teas as only one was brought to the table instead of 4. Apart from this hiccup everything else was good, the staff very friendly and the food excellent.

Either for takeaway or eating in, Wagamama Whiteley is no.1 Such great food and such friendly staff. I will always be back to see you. We love you!

Bit of a mixed bag. Food was ok but expensive for what it is in my opinion - bit too heavy on the soy sauce on some dishes. Not a fan of their service model - you get your food whenever it's ready so sometimes you are eating at different times to your party, and you may have finished your main before your starter/side arrives. Seating is a bit 'school canteen' - not the most comfortable sitting on in benches. £30 for a bottle of prosecco! 😡 Banana katsu is lush Our server was good and very attentive and friendly.

Shame, I have ordered for takeaway two ramens and sides. Sides were oke but ramen was more like noodles with tiny bit of broth. I think if they would separate broth and noodles for takeaway there wouldn't be a problem especially that it took me less than 15min to get back home. So I would not recommend to have ramen as a takeaway.

Overall a decent enough experience. You always know what you are getting from Wagamama in terms of food and this was certainly know different. Opted for a classic grilled chicken ramen and it lived up to the usual Wagamama expectations. Have to say service on this occasion wasn’t quite as good though.

Was assigned an order from deliveroo to collect. Arrived promptly, however happened to clash with a customer entering to the restaurant (however it wasn’t actually a customer). Was given a duty LOOK from a staff member. Was then handle over the order, and was given unnecessary wording. Gave a chance for him to explain and then gave a full explanation of the situation. I even raised questions that wasn’t answered. Overall that would have likely happened to any rider in this particular situation. The last words from the staff was not to return back to this store. We are talking about fine margins and I suggest that person should review his position and think before he speaks to someone like that.

Came for Saturday night dinner. It was quite busy but the staff were quick to get us a table. The food was great and came fast. The dessert was very delicious.

Ok, Without question, Wagamama's food quality is great! The service is quick and cheerful. My issue on my last visit was with the hygiene. On two occasions we saw our waiter sweep the floor and pick up things from the floor to then handle our cutlery and food without washing his hands. Call me fussy.

Just another chain of Wagamama. Food is tasty, service is good and atmosphere is fine. Tables and seats could be cleaner for the diners.

We had lunch today at whiteley Wagamama, as they are very helpful in accommodating food intolerances. I had chicken pad thai with onion and garlic and leeks replaced with mushrooms and it was Gluten Free. How lovely to go out to eat, and to have a choice of a variety of meals. The food was very tasty and delivered promptly with a good deal of attention from the lovely staff. Couldnt fault any of it and especially impressed with the excellent customer service from all the staff. I was made to feel safe with my food intolerances being catered for and nothing was too much trouble. So refreshing to feel like i mattered. Will definitely be going again. Well done to manager, cooks and waiting staff.!!!

Typical chain restaurant average food poor service .

The food taste varies between each visit. I had ordered Ginger Chicken Udon. Today there was no salt in the dish I ordered. Also it had more onion pieces than chicken pieces in the dish. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

My family and I love it here, the staff are fantastic. Nothing is ever too much trouble, they are great with our kids. Just superb!!

Food wasn't as good as other Wagamamas. Service was not very good. I know that the food comes out in no order, but I have never had an experience when one dish comes when you have finished your food. Ask one waitress this, and she said it will just come, we commented we nearly finished, and then she said she would go look but went in the opposite direction. We finished, and they came to clear our table and asked how the food was, and we commented that we were still missing a dish. It was sorted out eventually.

A nice lunch for four. A good escape from the rain. Very tasty and good service. Ok value for money.
