Lunchtime visit. Quick to order and food to appear. Nice and clean. Tasty food... It's Nandos.

Yummy food extremly attentive and friendly staff

Food was underwhelming, which could be because it was quite late, 9 pm....still had to wait 20 minutes for a table which was free and never became occupied while we waited outside ......this was after leaving the previous bandos in fareham became of a 40 min wait and again therewereempty tables. In this day and age, surely nandos can implement a better seating system.

We went on a Thursday evening and thr queue and waiting time was long. However food was fresh and tasted great. Friendly staff members

Went in for family afternoon food and loved it, especially a worker of the name Luke, he was happy and well spoken, need more people like him in the restaurant business.

Not the best nandos we've been to. The service is always quite slow, and they seem to always be out of menu items - it just so happens to be in a convenient location, so we have been a few times and each time underwhelming. Many times we've waited for the drinks to come and they come with the food which itself is only slightly hot. Rarely we are told of menu items being out of stock at the door so we get a nice surprise after being sat down! Prices have gone up, and the quality and service is worse. The staff seem to always be complaining that they are busy also which doesn't give off a nice vibe either. We've had to queue at the till today to order a platter because they "switched it off" on the app, according to the staff member who served us.

The food was very disappointing. It was fast service but the coleslaw was sour. And 3 servings later it was still sour. At least the manager tried to help.

I visit Whiteley Nando’s 2/3 times a month. The staff are always lovely, attentive and friendly. The food and all the staff are great 😋👍 🔥

Very disappointed,the guy serving us basically appeared to forget about serving us.We waited a fair while for our drinks,but this wasn't too bad.But at least 3 other orders taken after ours were served first,my daughter saw our food on the counter for over 15 mins, he brought it to us and apologised, I started telling him I was unhappy with the wait and he walked away.The food was cold.Really disappointing experience.

First time at Nando's, really good food. Little over priced, but during this time, everything seems that way. The staff was nice, very helpful, and friendly.

Always reliably good. Getting a bit pricey like everything these days but it remains my favourite treat meal.

Usually, it's a good go-too, for a quick bite. Think they forgot about us today. Waited 40 minutes for our order! We were patient thinking they might have lots of deliveries. They weren't busy, and people who arrived after us got served before us. There was no real explanation for the delay. And the food wasn't that hot (they said it would be fresh out). Our order of hullumi got stuck in our wraps rather than side dishes. The manager even came over to check. No offer of how to make up for the delay or even to suggest offering replacement for the side dishes. It was easier just to leave matters & got out as soon as. Won't be going back.

As this restraunt is popular it was busy when we visited even on a week night but they found us a table and it as usual the food was great and there wasn't much of a wait either

Nandos in general usually get a 3 from me. But this one was a little better than normal because it's so conveniently placed and good atmosphere.

Never seen chicken sizes as small as it came here.

Friendly and helpful food was very nice

Ordered via the app and collected to take home. Food was delicious and well packaged. Staff were friendly and asked if there was any sauces they could provide. We were slightly late for our pick up time but the food was still hot.

Was shown straight to a table and our food came quite quickly. Lovely food.

Waitress was pleasant. What do they do to the burger buns? They are so hard I could use then as a weapon!

Food was good and cooked to perfection. Reasonnably priced. Shame we couldn't get any desert though as they ran out at 9pm! The one disappointing thing about the place was that it wasn't very clean. As for the toilets... hmm..

I wanted to say a big thanknyou to Sammy today new member of the team that just started, she came from the porsrmouth branch. She was super helpful with my little baby, first time he sat in a big boy high chair and that was with the fab help she gave me, really compassionate and realised I had my hands full being on my own and did everything to make my lunch enjoyable. It was fab, I will go back again. The food was really nice and all the staff were really friendly. Great lunch guys thanks 😊

The last time I visit a Nando’s. I only went at the invitation of a family group, having decided I wouldn’t return to the local one following 2 cold meals. But this one was worse. Being surrounded by screaming/shouting kids, to eat cold food yet again, isn’t my idea of a pleasant dining experience. Perhaps they can only get the actual grilled chicken right, because the mushroom in my pitta was stone cold, not even barely warm. My mum’s chicken burger was lukewarm too though. The waiting staff were very pleasant, it was the only redeeming feature. Another diner mentioned it was one step away from a soft play area, he wasn’t wrong.

The female manager no help at all when i asked for help she just said do u want a refund chicken very dry just overall a bad experience

I always very much enjoy going to Nando’s Whiteley but today’s experience, specifically the service has left a sour taste. I come here very often and this time, when myself and my party arrived, we saw some people by the door. Unaware if they were awaiting their order for takeaway or waiting to be seated, a family member of mine, politely asked them if they we’re waiting to seated which they said no, no problem so far. Sheer seconds after that a member of staff came over, Kieran I believe from what I glimpsed at the name tag. And with a very harsh and loud tone, said ‘and that’s why we ask if you’re eating in or taking away. Are YOU eating in or taking away?’ It wasn’t something I or my family members appreciated. It came across very rude and honestly, my family member asking other visitors a question shouldn’t of been something the member of staff needed to concern themselves with/get involved with.

Pretty consistent Nando's in a convenient location. Flexibility of ordering via the app or till. Sometimes the tables are a bit sticky which makes the experience feel a bit cheap.

A cheeky Nando's. There's nothing wrong with a cheeky Nando's. I love the concept and am a big fan of the chicken, how its cooked, the marinades and side dishes. The service is pretty good but the ordering is a little tedious. Any place that doesn't offer table service needs a more swift and robust till service. I've often found it slow. Perhaps mobile ordering via a QR code, etc would be more efficient? Atmosphere....not my ideal environment. On occasions its one step away from being a soft play area but then remember, it's a cheeky Nandos and not fine dining. I'll be back for more chicken.

Visited today for the first time was absolutely crazy manic but staff so courteous, lovely, smiley and friendly. Enjoyed our food. Would defo return.

I can't give Nandos more than 3 stars because it's like a Fast Food place with plates. No table service exc ept for food delivery. I've got to be honest, I don't like Nandos food, so it was never going to score well with me.

I have ordered full chicken platter and dare to share starter , both full chicken platter and starter was on our table at the same time, What’s the purpose of having starter ? When it comes with the main! I wasn’t happy and didn’t enjoy the food at this time as I was disappointed.

I don't recommend doing this but I came here a week ago with my partner about half an hour before closing. We felt really bad but they made us feel so welcome and the quality of our food was still amazing. In fact they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and it was really appreciated especially because it was so late.

I Got Some Plain-ish Chicken 🐔 And It's Nicely Spicy. The Restaurant Is Not The Quickest But There Were A Lot Of People. The Restaurant Looks Nice But That Doesn't Impact The Taste, Now Does It?

This is quite a small Nando's and was comfortable and a nice place for lunch. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Ordering was straightforward using a QR code. There was a good selection of main courses, including some vegetarian friendly options. Our drinks arrived promptly, but the food was slow. Elements of each meal were at different temperatures, presumably due to the late delivery to the table. The cost for four mains plus sides and three drinks was £63.00.

Seated quickly by a friendly member of staff. food was great as there are now some more vegetarian/vegan options - although salad choices are now less, which is a shame. Generally a good all round experience.

Took my family of 5 here tonight arrived at 7:30 to be told there is a waiting time of 45min I said there’s no one in there ? The staff member said Deliveroo comes first and there behind on there orders so we can’t sit anyone in the Restaraunt! When did they stop being a Restaraunt and become a takeaway service, they could advise people of this on there website instead of waisting peoples time and effort.

We went there on a business dinner after buying over £100 of food the manager accused us of theft for two Coca-Cola's. When he checked the till he realised his mistake and didn't apologise. We asked for a full refund and left.. wouldn't recommend!

Yep it's a good nandos. Staff nice and restaurant clean. If you haven't been to a nandos then this would be an easy win.

Bench seating join had food trapped in it, which is careless. It should be cleaner. On the plus side the food was tasty and drinks can be bottomless. I didn't try the desserts.

As a longstanding fan of Nandos my wife and I decided to take my parents who were visiting from the Caribbean along for the experience. With the closest Nandos in Portsmouth being shut for refurbishment we travelled to Fareham from Havant only to find a 50 minute wait for a table. We then took the risk and drove an additional 10 minutes to whitely and could not have made a better decision. We were seated straight away by the friendly staff who then relocated us upon request. The food was delivered in a short period and was piping hot which my parents were very appreciative of. Having spent what in our opinion was exorbitant amount of money for an underwhelming dinner at a steak restaurant the previous weekend, it was a pleasure to see the enjoyment the comparatively cheap Nandos meal created and my dad who like myself can really put it away had time request a take away box! At the end of the meal he shook his head smiled and said "good graze". Mission accomplished.

Never get why people rave about Nando's. The food is ok, nice enough, but nothing special. Please remove or replace the horrible wrinkled and peeling plastic film on the tables. It can't be hygienic and just gives a bad impression. But you can console yourselves that at least your food is 100 times better than the KFC round the corner!

I recommend the beanie burger, very tasty. Good choice for children as well. Good service.

I emailed today with a simple admin request - yet the team at whitely contacted me within 5 mins and sorted the slight issue - 100% happy, cheerful and professional. In the time I’ve been visiting Nandos (at least 15 years) I’ve never had a bad experience. Today, their response shows that there is a positive culture in this company who I believe are customer focussed and who deliver good quality service and food. Thank you. Definitely worthy of a positive review.

Ordered on Deliveroo but I didn’t want 2 sides so I ordered a large chips separate to my chicken and they forgot it! Deliveroo will only give me a refund so now I just have chicken for dinner! Thanks a lot. How hard is it to remember chips? You remembered my partners with his meal!

A regular at this Nandos as we haven't had a bad experience at it personally. The place is clean and located next to the car park for easy access and is right next to rest of the shops so you can go in whenever you want. The facilities are clean and looked after as well but haven't used them often so this might be different at busier times. The servers are knowledgeable and have all been there for a fairly long time and are usually very helpful. The food is always prepared well and tastes amazing and gets to the table in a good time. The only criticism of this Nando's is that it gets busy very quickly and is often very busy during lunch and dinner service regardless of day. I always try and get there earlier than the busy times to try and guarantee a seat otherwise you'll be in for a wait. To summarise: food is good, environment is nice but the wait for a table due to how popular the place is can mean it can be a miss on some nights out.

There were empty tables when we arrived but we still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. When the food arrived, one meal was replaced because the chicken was cold, one meal was "warm" and the garlic bread was tough to chew but we didn't want to keep replacing meals. Not the best food experience.

Standard Nandos! Friendly team, good portions and options for non meat eaters. It was nice to see that they now had an app which you could order from as well. Great experience and all as expected for this chain.

As a Nandos fan , this location is definitely the better one between Fareham.

Standard nandos, not much else to say to be honest! Service was very quick, food was exactly as expected. Ordering via mobiles is really nice too! Only very minor thing I'd note is they'd put a film on the tables which was peeling and felt weird but otherwise yeah absolutely no complaints!

I used to love nandos but the food is just the same unfortunately and I cant eat much from the menu due to not knowing the amount of salt in the food. We were all shocked as well when we were told we would have to pay for the perinaise! Not sure we'll go again to be honest.

Not as good as it used to be. Not going there again. Waited for ages for the lukewarm food. The soda was water and waiting staff removed my plate before I'd finished. I was turned to attend my 2year old. Mum's can never eat. Sigh!! And the endless ice-cream for the children is water... eeeww
