Everything was dirty. The server kept touching his nose and wiping it with his fingers. Another staff member repeatedly touched her ears and teeth. There was also a guy holding a bunch of chopsticks meant for the tables; while talking to two others, he got carried away and started scratching his belly with the chopsticks, touching both sides, and then played around with them.

Very quiet. Though menu recognises nibbles, starters, mains - told everything comes when ready - why? Prawn crackers only bought out when we chased after main meal nearly finished. Noone checked back all our food had been served, nor asked if we wanted any more drinks. Poor when empty.

Poor service!!! We might delivery riders and not your customers but we're delivering your food to YOUR customers, don't just leave us standing there with no communication at all, then get all uppity after I ask how long my order will be (politely) after waiting 10 mins. Then just tell me cancel if I don't wanna wait. It's just not called for whatsoever, you should prioritise everyone that walks through your doors, just because we're delivery riders we are not less than!

Worst restaurant I’ve been to in London. Baos described as generously filled, but when order arrived they had 2 tiny pieces of meat and some sauce. Also food are served on random order, so your companion could finish their food even before yours arrives.

It was my first time visiting wagamama after hearing a lot about it and I had a good experience at this restaurant. Staff took us to our table promptly and got us started with drinks and then the food arrived. Everything was delicious and me and my partner enjoyed the food a lot. Stood, ignored waiting to be seated. Eventually, followed the lead of other guests who seated themselves. Service was miserable. Food was brought to the table at random, as it comes from the kitchen. Mains served with 10 minutes time difference. The saku saku duck soba had the worst fungal like smell and was difficult to eat. Fish dish was very fishy. Rotis were hard. Pickles not brought. Paid for via QR code. Probably my worst experience of Wagamamas.

I’ve been to a few Wagamama branches, but the service at Old Street was slower than I’m used to. Normally, I don’t mind waiting a bit, but having to ask for my food five times wasn’t ideal – especially when you’ve got a meeting lined up. That said, the food itself was up to Wagamama’s usual standard, so no complaints there. It’s a solid option if you’re working nearby in one of the many “white collar factory” offices around Old Street. Just keep in mind, it’s a bit on the pricey side compared to the street food spots in the area. Good for a quick bite – as long as you’re not in a rush!

I used to love wagamama but there is no chance of me ever ordering delivery again. The food, size, temperature and presentation are terrible. You can tell the staff just don't care when it's a delivery. I ordered 2 curries which looked to have been dropped and the filling missing so it was mostly rice and the noodles where missing the main ingredient, the noodles, it was just beansprouts. Even the delivery driver was upset when he got to my door as they made him wait 20mins before being alowed to pick it up and then blamed him when the food was cold which they refused to replace. The driver also said they were extremely rude to him which is unacceptable. Its a shame but Wagamama are no longer worth the money. Save your money or go elsewhere, its London there are far better places and at more reasonable prices.

Whilst I am a really big fan of Wagamama’s, this was a pretty disappointing experience, due to unfortunately poor service. The restaurant was around 30% full but the staff seemed very disengaged and it took around 10-15 minutes to be served. When trying to grab the attention of a staff member, it felt like we were being avoided or were just an inconvenience. I should say that when we did get the attention of one staff member (who we hadn’t previously seen), they were very polite, respectful and helpful. Whilst I appreciate food can arrive at different times, we saw 2 of our plates waiting to be picked up at the counter for at least 5 minutes. Staff seemed more interested having conversations between one another (at one point right in front of our food) rather than serving the food. It meant both dishes, once served, were luke warm at best. Despite this - we still enjoyed the food. Having looked at other reviews, it seems we’re not the only one to have had this experience, which is a shame. I appreciate everyone has their off days, but a little more attentiveness and proactiveness would have gone a long way. It certainly wont put me off going to wags, but I will avoid this branch in the future.

Had dinner here at Wagamama’s Old Street chain, and we were met with excellent service, friendly waiters and delicious food. We initially waited 20 minutes for our drinks and entres but we found out later through one of the waiters that the system had bugged and our order never came through. They thus offered our entire meal on the house to compensate for the inconvenience. Thank you very much, especially to Ashley, our lovely waitress.

Hadn't been to Wagamama in year's, 25 year's actually, so I gave it another chance. The food is not for foodies, more aimed at students. Off-putting was seeing members of staff eat bit of food infront of the patrons, very unprofessional and unhygienic. The staff not very attentive had to raise my arm for attention. The green tea should be served in a pot, because the small cup it was served in very small and I had to call them all the time for a refill and their were only 8 of us patrons in the restaurant at that time in the afternoon. So, from a professional view, Wagamama did not fair well.

I just came in Wagamama Old street with my best friend to have a lunch because it was his birthday and wanted to surprise him as I generally like Wagamama restaurants. The place was almost empty but the waiters didn’t bother to come and serve us for nearly half an hour. Terrible! And when we left they started to laugh and said : “Leave , we don’t need you here” . I ordered the gochujang tofu bowl and there were multiple large pieces of chicken pork inside even thought the menu stated vegetarian. Absolutely careless to not even check what you are serving into the bowl. New bowl came and had only two pieces of tofu inside. My friend ordered prawn and chicken yaki soba and the chicken came cold and the noodles overly saturated in salt. Shame this branch sucked. Do better.

Service was awful. A line of people formed at the "wrong door" and rather than tell them the staff chose to ignore, then when flagged down eventually told everyone to go to the other door. Waited at other door for 20 mins to be let in and seated, plenty of empty seats. Given 1 food menu and 3 drinks. We're sat to thr side out of the way and couldn't get attention of any servers. Then sat for a long time more before anyone came to take an order. Food took a long time, first came the first plate, then one drink, then another plate, then the second drink? First person had finished their dinner before the other person had even received their food or drink, which was a pint, not sure why it took 45 minutes? Seems like they need to hire more staff.

After finishing my food and paying with the app, I had someone run after me to tell me I was showing as not paid. I showed him the online app that said I'd paid, and he said he had to get his manager. Another guy arrived, who I showed the online app and my emailed receipt, and he went to get his manager. This manager got annoyed with me for my mildly unpleasant attitude - apparently being accused of stealing after already having shown proof of payment to two different people shouldn't have been reason for aggrievement. I showed her the two receipts and asked if I could go yet, she said no. I then showed that my bank account had removed the payment and left without waiting - I was fuming! A stupid app, a stupid system, and a rude manager. The other staff were nice and apologetic, and the food was lovely as always, but the app and rude manager ruined my experience so much I'm writing this angry review! I hope she's not as rude to her staff.

Served by an incredibly welcoming and kind lady (table 200, around 4pm, 12.02.2024). I ordered Cherry Blossom Lemonade and Chicken Gochujang Rice Bowl - impeccable taste of both! I appreciate the fact that I was able to choose where I wanted to sit instead of being given a table according to some personal biases. Thank you for the great experience. Normally our experience at this restaurant is positive but unfortunately today did not reach the usual standards. The staff seemed generally unprofessional joking around and with a way too relaxed attitude from some towards customers, our edamame came looking like some were either rotten or gone off and tasted soapy, my partner's glass for her drink was filthy and we had to ask to return it which then took 5 minutes for them to find a new glass, we had been given our food and asked for forks which also took 5 minutes to arrive, and finally our salads tasted of earth like they hadn’t been washed properly. Also, at no point did a member of staff ask how our food was so we did not have a chance to voice these concerns at the time.

Great trip to Wagamama Old St ! Tray and Liam were our waiters and were superb - took our drinks order promptly and checked back on us when we wanted to order. Recommended !

Lovely pizza and pasta dinner with a couple beers before a gig at The Grace (just across the road). Nice chat with the owner who seemed a top bloke. Would recommend.

Wonderful service, amazing staff made my drink very quickly and had me sat down super quick. Lovely service, and people plenty of seating so even if it gets to lunch time you’ll always have somewhere to sit

El tiempo es todo en un entorno de estación de tren, por lo que donde este restaurante obtiene las mejores calificaciones es en la rapidez con la que se entregan los pedidos de comida. Por supuesto, sería fácil tirar cualquier basura vieja, pero las jirafas son mejores que eso. Tenía una hamburguesa de pollo con papas fritas que era lo suficientemente picante como para que fuera “interesante” y la tostada era lo suficientemente sustancial como para ser satisfactorio. También es una zona bien decorada con un montón de características retro. No estoy seguro de dónde viene el nombre de jirafa, espero que no la carne dentro de las hamburguesas, pero marca muchas cajas.
