Kennedy's, 8.3/10 This is a man's-man's pub. The Yorkie bar of boozers. The Bovril of Islington. The builder's bum of Barnsbury. We could go on. Traditional set-up in here. Old school booths. A big square bar bang in the middle of the gaff. Quiz machines. Pool tables. Darts. Bare tellys. Our kinda place. Sticky carpets. You might think the rating would take a hit for that. Nope. Took it up by 2.43 at least. We're scientific about this stuff. Asked what was on tap. They said Stella. Asked what else. They said Stella. Who are we kidding anyway. We love Stella. Everyone in here was balding or bald. Phil Mitchell types. Except if Phil Mitchell had the physique of a penguin. Clearly loved the pub. And rightly so. There were some fellas you can see up back playing darts. They waddled over and challenged us to a game. If you wanted a schooling in darts, you've come to the right place. Turns out we're not quite the same we used to be at darts. The local lads smashed us. For some unknown reason, we couldn't manage to hit anything on the dartboard situated above 11 and 6. We could only violently pummel darts into the southern part of the board. Wonder why. Reviewed 04/06/21 on @northlondonpints Instagram.

Lame 😒 Overpriced Stinks 😷 Landlords a miserable active alcoholic. This makes him a miserable rude person. ‘The pub needs completely rebuilt.’

Really friendly place. Stopped off here travelling from South London. Nice staff, nice punters. They had the football on which was an added bonus. I was also with my puppy Prince and he was also very welcome, he was so comfortable he didn't want to leave and spent his time playing, relaxing and sleeping. Would definitely come back if I was in the area again.

Best pizza In London by far, lovely dough and crust aswell as topping choice. Loved watching the chef put it in the wood fired oven, truly an authentic Italian Experience .

Dirty and worn down establishment. Smells of toilet. Horrible service Poor hygene.

Worst rudest staff I’ve ever met I’ve been living in Cyprus 5years and this is by far the worst place I’ve ever been , they make you feel uncomfortable and act like they don’t want you there , the food was horrible the Sunday roast seemed like a microwave meal .. never ever go here

Sat down to drink lemonade and relax on my home last night, after drinking I ordered a packet of crisps. To my horror there was a bed bug on the sofa walking up to me. I should have taken a photo but bed bugs are very traumatizing for me I jumped and ran out

Popped in after a game at The Emirates, well kept beer and friendly staff. Wasn't busy but it was early evening. Plenty of room to watch one of the several TV screens showing the late afternoon match. Even got to stroke the pubs spaniel.

Very exspencive my wife paid £ 18 for a bottle of cheap wine. Profiteering

Good old style public house. Under new management for the last two months. The beer is the best you can find in Islington. Smart and clean pub. Great Beer Garden just been re vamped. Good friendly bar staff, fast service. I have to say the Jazz nights have the best music around.

Nice decor, good selection of beers, ales etc. Not the cheapest... but there was a great jazz band playing so well worth it. I think Fridays is live jazz, will defo go again.

Good local pub, Sky sports, pool table, garden, friendly staff.

Traditional Irish pub on Caledonian Road, near the Co-op. Internal decor has been refreshed and the wall murals painted over making it brighter overall. There's a pool table and darts board and a nice looking beer garden. Mostly just regulars so is very quiet - a shame because the place has potential.

Lovely place secure good people

Seems like definitely one for the locals! The guy behind the bar was friendly and made me feel welcome. As did the regulars for that matter. If you want to grab a quick drink with your friends this is a good place, which I would recommend. But don't go if you want anything other than Heineken, John Smiths or simple spirits, or to pay with a card (I know right!).

Terrible experience, treated as though I was not wanted for the duration of my stay. If you aren't "one of the locals" then don't bother going, they don't seem to want any new customers
