A large restaurant, the food is delicious and varied, the order is delivered quickly and hot, the service is also excellent, the food is presented and tastes delicious, and the prices are according to your request.

To summarise - cataclysmic. Staff need training in grace and decorum. Usually have a great experience at Wagamama but not at Leed’s Trinity. Attitude, eye rolling and a serious lack of empathy from the staff. £8 for a bao bun drenched in mayo is criminal. The Katsu was congealed and as for the yaki (yucky) soba - lukewarm and lacking flavour. So flavourless we were tempted to test for COVID as taste buds were picking up NOTHING. Had to drench in soya sauce in search for an ounce of flavor. Wagamama Leeds Trinity should attack a clear gap in the market and start doubling up as a crèche - screaming children everywhere. The piercing screams were allegorical of my internal consciousness throughout this horrifying experience. We were not accommodated with our request to sit outside and so were shackled to our awful table. Literally and metaphorically left with a bad taste in our mouths.

My wife and I are regular diners at Wagamamas, from Portsmouth to York. Having never used the Leeds one we were keen to try it. As usual all the staff were pleasant and helpful and made our visit worthwhile. The mains that we ordered were lovely, but the sides weren't up to our expected mark. The Chilli squid was rubbery and the wok fried greens seemed to be bereft of garlic slices and sufficient sauce. It wasn't over busy so I couldn't justify any excuse. Won't stop us visiting again though, it was maybe just a blip is all.

Came here for mine and my partners child free date night and it didn’t disappoint. Our servers were Courtney and Shane and they were both very professional and knowledgable on the menus. We had chicken gyozas which were absoloutly perfect! The only criticism I have is that the ramen needs more protein for the price (we had the pulled brisket and it was Devine but not enough off it) Thanks for making our one night off so lovely 💙

The food is brilliant, the atmosphere may be busy at times, but the food makes up for it. I recommend the bang bang cauliflower

Our server was Mo and he was absolutely amazing couldn’t have asked for any better, he was very friendly and had a good laugh with us, he even went out his way give us an extra portion of the beef boa buns which we loved. Thankyou we will be returning

I visited the place recently in a trip to England . I love this kind of food! We order four different plates and everything was delicious! We enjoy it till the last bite! Also the service was excellent and the help we had for my daughter who has allergy in prawns was excellent too

Came in for some lunch today, i was served by Mo who was friendly, attentive and helpful, the service was excellent and very speedy and the food was lovely as always!

Such good food there, had an incredible experience. Lovely staff as well. Each dish is seasoned to perfection which makes it even more enjoyable. A very nice place for a very nice meal.

don’t know if they just recently hired a bunch of new staff or if they were just clueless! although the staff were friendly, they offered all of our food and drinks to different tables and offered us the wrong food not knowing which table was what. however got there in the end and the food was nice.

Me and my sister came with my daughter for her 8th Birthday the week before last. Mo was absolutely amazing, so kind, helpful and made my daughter feel so special on her Birthday. There wasn't anything too much trouble for him. The food was amazing too!

Went here w partner, the food was awful. my partner said it tasted like they put no effort into the chicken, said it was like tuna. (See photo and you'll see its basically not flavoured at all). The chairs have no back on them which is weird. We complained because my partner said there's no way he's paying full price for the food and we got a £15 off. the staff was amazing however. they were very apologetic which they didn't need to be. not their fault. very disappointed honestly, would of expected better from the place but it's fine. Total was £27, meant to be like £40 odd

The atmosphere was alright, not too busy not too quiet. The service was exceptional, very polite and kind, staff were very understanding with a complaint I had made and offered a discount on the problem. The food however was what ruined it for me, the vegetarian gyozas were great, the noodles were nice with enough seasoning however the “chicken” that came with the teriyaki soba was completely unacceptable. It had the texture of tuna, dryer than the Sahara desert whilst also being completely flavourless. As someone with a passion for good food and who doesn’t like food waste it genuinely upset me that the chicken was so terrible I could not finish the meal

Got the order wrong which is fair enough, mistakes are acceptable, just make sure you then apologise rather than roll your eyes.

I love an occasional wagas but never am i ordering them again. The squid was rubbery & the portion size of the wok fried greens is quite laughable. £30 for all this? Feel almost scammed.

Expensive Half the vegan menu has gone. A vegan colleague found this quite annoying. And mentioned it numerous times

Went to have dinner with my friend and we had the LOVELIEST time. I had the matcha strawberry latte (new on the menu) and it was YUMMY. I ordered the chilli squid and the bang bang cauliflower and both were *chefs kiss*😗🤌🏽 HIGHLY recommend, both are super flavoursome. Our server was the lovely Shane! They were amazing and set such a lovely tone for the whole dining experience, very welcoming and friendly. Had a really wonderful conversation with them and they really made our day with that interaction💖 We will definitely be back again🥰

went on a friday afternoon- was very quiet and got a table easily :) was waiting for friends and the staff were very patient. delicious food!! we all got a mix of the kids menu items- very affordable and tasty for students so would recommend! liam was our server and he was lovelyyy!!! super friendly and good conversation, helped us to pick dishes and i hope he has a lovely day and brings joy to more customers like he did for us. liam went the extra mile :)

Wagamama is a go-to for great, hot soup when the UK climate is getting to you. the Chili Chicken Ramen with a side of gyoza is a staple - and always made fresh to order. I ended up heading here (without a reservation) on Valentine's Day. Whoops. Even with a decent sized line, they were able to accommodate everyone fairly quickly - and I didn't feel rushed to leave, which is great as they could have definitely used the room.

Food is always nice. I understand that they can come out at different times but my boyfriend’s meal came first, he finished it and I had to wait another 10 mins after he finished just to get my meal!! It killed the vibe, one person eating while the other waits… the staff apologised but no offer to take any drinks off the bill or anything. Won’t be coming back sorry

Same as any other Wagamamas, guy on the main door was really good. Didn't seem to have a system for which server waited the tables. Took us 20 mins to pay while waiting with empty plates and cups.

Had some really good personal news and decided to treat myself to my first wagas. My server (I think his name was Mo) was the loveliest man I’ve met in the industry- recommended some great dishes and made some great conversation. He ended up covering my entire three course bill out of the kindness of his own heart and refused to let me tip. Truly an asset to the restaurant, the company, and the world. We love Mo 🫶🏻

Food was spot on. The server however had an attitude, she did not seem happy to be there and we have been nice to her.

Can be very hit and miss, service is always good, could be better 🤷🏻‍♂️, but hey ho, good selection on the menu, love the vibe not so long ago raw chicken was brought out, informed the staff and replaced the meal and gave a discount on the bill, couldn’t be more fair than that 🤷🏻‍♂️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were quickly shown to our tables and served relatively quick. Food came fast and was made to the nice standard Wagamama tends to uphold in all the locations I've been to. Was quite busy and after us people were queuing outside to wait for a spot due to the place becoming full. This was around 11:00 - 12:00

Well only our 2nd Wagamamas experience and it was excellent !. We went in around 4.45pm and we asked if we could have a small booth. The staff sorted it immediately cleaning and resetting the table. The staff were very helpful and attentive with Mo being so kind and chatty. Our food was fresh and delicious, we started with Japanese pickles and katsu sauce yummy. We then both ordered Yaki udon with a glass of merlot as we had finished our very delicious and refreshing peach tea. Webboth had a dessert and finished with coffee , fresh mint tea and Mo kindly brought us both the free green tea to try too. We loved our meal and the whole experience, we highly recommend you go here ! Thank you everyone, especially Mo!

Had a really good experience visiting Wagamama's. I've been before but I had taken my godmother here, her dish was too spicey for her but the workers swapped out the dish for less spice.We also didn't get charged extra. Food was amazing, both of us had ramen. The service was outstanding from Shane, thank you. My daughter has several food allergies and my order was taken by an allocated allergy server Rob. This was cooked by a chef allocated to allergies - really reassuring to have so much care taken for dietary allergies. Will definitely recommend and we will be back again soon. Thank you

Not particularly impressed. We got peach iced tea which was warm with 2 ice cubes in it which melted really quickly, more like 'peach luke warm tea' and I got the chilli chicken ramen which hsd never seen a chilli, just bland and the chicken itself didn't have any seasoning. I explained wagamama to be like this but I wanted to try it for myself, I was right unfortunately. So expensive as well. They even call Hotpot a 'classic Korean hotpot' even though hotpot is Chinese ..

Great food, brill service and it wasn’t too busy even on a Saturday in December.

Had to sit on a draughty veranda with heat lights over the table. Not ideal on a freezing windy day. The queue was slow. Won't sit outside again unless it's summer. Hence food not as warm as it could have been.

The service was excellent especially jack was very helpful because it was my first time there.

I ordered the yasai gyoza ramen extra spicy, however it wasn't that spicy lol. The bang bang cauliflower was disappointing too. However the staff was really cheerful which made my day better

Food as always is amazing. Katsu curry for me this time which was just what the doctor ordered after a day of cocktails, and a Leeds home win as well. The perfect Saturday. Only downside is it's freezing when they open the doors like really cold, very cold. It was the birthday of one of our group and they brought out a free dessert, which is always a nice touch. Kid friendly, adult friendly and they serve beer. What's not to like?

Toilets filthy disabled loo had electricity warning tape all over it no loo roll at all, the young black young man that served us was fab but the young lad that I asked if I could take the rest of my hot pot home was VERY rude, rolling his eyes at my request, this was my first time and a treat from my son, and he eats at this company in London, Manchester and other cities and he said the young man on seating us never asked us and put us at a table that was too high or seating low never asked when tables were empty that we would of liked to sit at but said they are closed and out side was as well, my son was very angry at the attitude of the you male servers and didn’t tip, but couldn’t get the young black man’s attention to tip him, thank you young man 1 or 2 of your work team aren’t team player’s, your attitude and help was fab, food good but we had and eaten food before my son even got his food, that’s why I asked to take home what I had left eating slowly, but too late mine cold his dad ate his so we didn’t eat together and spoiled our experience,

We had a lovely birthday dinner at Wagamamas in Leeds Trinity! Our waiter Courtney was super friendly and helpful! As a big group with lots of different orders, we got everything exactly how we wanted and he was great with us the whole time! He even made it extra special for my friend’s birthday by writing happy birthday on the desserts in powdered sugar! We vote him to be employee of the month!!!

I really like it here! Today I ordered a new dish on the menu and it was very very good. Delicious. Shared several dishes between 2 and they were all excellent. The vegan bao buns are amazing.

Our grand daughter Phoebe loves wagamamas so we decided to try it. Not sure what to have and worked of recommendation of Phoebe and our server Harper who was excellent in guiding us through the menu. Chilli squid as a starter followed by the tofu ramen and hot bowl with beef. All very tasty and cooked in front of you in the open kitchen. For a first time very good as we dont usually do chains.

We waited too long to be served considering how busy it was. Food was okay, I like the style and flavours. Trying to get the bill was eventful and when we did attract the attention of a member of staff (whose attire and demeanour suggested he was a) manager we had to wrangle with him to get an actual bill. I presume this a policy to get our email. Staff took themselves too seriously too. Really spoiled the visit for me.

We were a group of three , and could get seated straight away . Drink and food orders are taken quickly. It was explained that food is brought out as and when it's cooked not in any kind of order, oh I thought but ok. Katsu curry came first, then two of our starters then pad Thai then another starter then we waited and waited and waited finally having had to afk our final main meal another katsu curry arrived due to the long delay this meal as taken off our final bill, which we were grateful for. This is not fine dining but it's not McDonald's it's Japanese nandos.

Disgusting, dry and tasteless, chicken is very bad quality should have gone to McDonald's, wayyyy to overpriced

I had a very lovely afternoon here, I just needed a quiet place to eat and I decided to try Wagamama. The ambiance was lovely, you may sit inside or outside and I did not need a reservation. The drink I had was pandan passion fruit colada, it tasted so lovely but was too small 🥹🙄😁. I ate fire cracker which consists of rice and my protein choice was chicken, if you love spicy foods then this is definitely for you and I love the shrimp 🍤 I enjoy it so much. I ordered for orange 🍊 juice 🥤 but I didn’t enjoy it, something was off about the taste for me. The staff were good and attentive.

Our waiter was excellent full of energy and helpful, they even gave us a new dish they were looking to put on the menu to try and give feedback.

Food was decent, service was poor. Bought our drinks out, the glass had a black smudge/wet sludge on side of it. We asked for it swapping which they did but not without a sarcastic comment saying it was just the juice that was spilt. Very unprofessional.

Went for a little evening meal after my daughter finished work it was very relaxed and beautiful food we both really enjoyed our first ever visit, the food was amazing and could of stayed to try everything. I got the firecracker chicken it was absolutely perfect and hot.

We arrived with a small queue of one couple in front of us. It was a Wednesday evening and they appeared low staffed for a quiet evening - understandably. Unfortunately that was not the case. It seemed quite busy. We were seated at the ‘dead’ table at the entrance. We have been visiting Wagamamas since it opened and have never seen anybody at that first, long table. But we only ever eat there at a weekend - its busiest time. But, the two of us (on a Wednesday) were seated there. As we were seated, we immediately knew we would not be served quickly. The waiter who seated us, told us that the QR pay method was not available. Did not bode well. I went to the toilet and my wife outlined that there is no need to worry as we will not be asked for our order (such cynicism!). I actually used the less-abled toilet as it was free and nobody was wishing to use it. It had no toilet paper, no hand paper and the hand dryer was not working. I drew this to the attention of the team. I returned to our table and my wife had still not been asked for drinks or the basics. she went to the toilet. Alas, nobody came anywhere near us to ask for a drink or anything else. I did the usual of an over-exaggerated-head hopping to attract the attention of a server. It seemed there were only three people across the whole restaurant and it was rammed. Really felt sorry for them. They were far too busy and could not meet the demand. I spoke to a server so that we could ask for a manager and the manager was organising the Deliveroo orders. I shared my feelings and she outlined that someone was dealing with the toilet situation and I apologised as this now meant there was one server less on the shop floor. This issue should have been sorted and noticed beforehand. Made it clear that it was a bad, bad service - not good. After 30mins of being ignored, we left. Ended up going to Bundobust. Served within 2 minutes. Brilliant service and amazing food.

Polite staff, good vegan and gluten free options. Have specific processes for preparing allergen free food.
