Tasty Vegan Options at Wagamama – A Must-Try! Popped into Wagamama recently and tried a few dishes from their vegan menu — and honestly, everything was spot on! The vegan katsu curry was rich and comforting with a perfectly crispy coating, and the pad thai was full of fresh flavor with just the right amount of zing. Loved the vegetable gyoza too — light, tasty, and great for sharing. We paired everything with some refreshing drinks (their positive juice and lemongrass & lime iced tea were a hit). The vibe was relaxed, service was quick, and it’s great to see a chain offering such solid vegan options. Definitely coming back!

On 14th March, I visited Wagamama in Trinity for lunch. I wasn’t sure what to order, but my waitress, Steph, was really helpful. She listened to the sort of flavours I like and recommended the saku saku duck soba; it was delicious. She also suggested I tried one of their signature drinks, the midori biru. It sounded like a strange combination but I’m glad I trusted her because it was great! Steph was so friendly and helpful, and I’d definitely visit again.

Wow first time coming here didnt really know what to expect. The customer service is impeccable, all the service staff were so friendly and polite and kind and helpful. Went here on a date on a Sunday around 5. It wasn’t too busy which was nice. The service was quick. The servers were kind and attentive. The toilets were quite a walk away from our table but there were signs directing where to walk. Food was delicious.

Wagamama was the perfect choice for a party of 12 with mixed dietary requirements.

Ordered yesterday 5 min before closing and they cancelled my order Orderes today 20 min before closing and they said one item unavailable and to replace it, tried to replace and store is closed, again before closijg time.

Went in, got seated quick, no problem. Was told on entry there were no chicken dishes & to be completely honest we were only there for the grilled chicken ramen. It was fine I would just choose another dish to try. We got seated, we were told who our server was and she would come take our order, we waited around 15/20mins for our server and no service, we had put our menus down, tried to flag a server to no avail. Servers continually walked past and still no service, ended up having to leave to go elsewhere. I’ve given this place a few try’s, my first experience was similar, very long service. Bit disappointed as just fancied a good ramen, not sure I’ll be back.

I had a really disappointing experience at Wagamama. The steak in my salad was cold, dry, and chewy, which made it pretty inedible. Honestly, everything was cold — not just the steak, but the entire meal. The gyozas were overcooked, crunchy, and dry, which made them hard to enjoy. On top of that, they forgot to add the seeds to my salad, as promised. Essentially it was a bowl of leaves with limited dressing and a dry cold steak dumped on top. The Hot Honey Teriyaki was overly sickly and sticky and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, the service was terrible — I was completely ignored by both the servers and the manager. It took over 10 minutes to get anyone’s attention, and the staff didn’t seem to care at all. Overall, a complete letdown and I won’t be returning anytime soon, to this branch.

All our food was lovely and really good quality. I am a vegetarian and also lactose intolerant they are always very careful to ensure my order is made away from milk. It can be a bit pricey however nice to go here as a treat. Down sides, there can be a bit of a wait to eat here and when busy inside may get loud. However, there is a little seating area outside the main restaurant which makes it better and has heating lamps.

The food was pretty good, the ramens were great and the broth was flavourful, I wish the was a bit more flavour in the noodles but it was still good, a little pricy but that was mostly just the drinks.

Ordered via deliveroo with a group of others where if I had an allergy I was guided to call the restaurant and let them know. When someone answered the phone they were very blunt and unhelpful speaking over me before I could explain I had ordered via deliveroo but wanted to let them know that online I had been told that grilled chicken ramen meal was gluten free so had ordered. He then passed me to a manager after saying he couldn’t help, the manager was very unhelpful and told me they didn’t cater for allergies via the deliveroo app and although it said to ring to let them know about an allergy, this wasn’t true and wasn’t part of their contract with deliveroo. He then said they could only cater for the same allergy if I came to pick up the meal or ate in restaurant. I wasn’t able to do this and thought they could prepare the same dish to have delivered. He was blunt and made me feel like an incredible burden which as someone with coeliac is something I struggle with feeling regardless of an unsympathetic person telling me they couldn’t help. His only suggestion was to cancel the whole order which included other peoples meals, only adding to my embarrassment at making a fuss. I am so disappointed as I had heard great things about Wagamamas inclusivity for allergies and other coeliacs feeling at ease when dining at this chain. Myself and others I were with will not be eating from the chain again as I shouldn’t be made to feel so embarrassed about a medical condition I cannot do anything about! Appalled and mortified is an understatment!

I felt a bit lost trying to understand how the restaurant works. Not greeted at the door, and menus were not provided. Waited around 20 minutes to order, and then waited another 20 minutes after eating to pay even after implying that we were finished. In general, the service was very slow and unattended. The food came relatively quickly, but was very flavourless and not warm. The Yaki Soba was oily and didn't taste good. The tofu raisukaree was lukewarm and bland with a lack of curry for a curry dish. Both dishes had a small portion size leaving us hungry afterwards. In addition to the mains we ordered some gyzoas for starters, which came after the mains. They were also bland and lukewarm. The food looked good, but that's where the good ended. The atmosphere was not comfortable. The lights are all glaringly bright, but vary in brightness and hue to create a harsh backdrop. The temperature of the room was uncomfortably chilly and the music was too loud and demanded attention it didn't need or deserve. I hope all wagammamas are not like this, I definitely wouldn't recommend Leeds trinity after this experience. Instead I'd encourage people to go to the many more authentic restaurants in Leeds.

this wagamamas is so bad compared to white rose and manchester. third time eating here as it's convenient but the food is so flavourless and chewy. not to mention how horribly trained the staff are, one of the girls was so rude and had no idea how to service. we made no complaints whilst we were there but we really should've. its a shame when wagamamas is my favourite restaurant and this is the closest one to me but if you are trying this place, avoid the leeds trinity one to form your opinion!

Came into wagamamas in Leeds Trinity this thursday evening with a friend as a starting uni/ pre freshers treat. We were served by Mo who was absolutely fantastic! Food always excellent.

Had a rly lovely time, came with my family for a birthday meal. Our server was emily and she rly made the experience, she was recomending dishes and just being overall rly freindly. We were rly glad we got her as our server. The food was pretty good - we got mains and quite a few sides.

To summarise - cataclysmic. Staff need training in grace and decorum. Usually have a great experience at Wagamama but not at Leed’s Trinity. Attitude, eye rolling and a serious lack of empathy from the staff. £8 for a bao bun drenched in mayo is criminal. The Katsu was congealed and as for the yaki (yucky) soba - lukewarm and lacking flavour. So flavourless we were tempted to test for COVID as taste buds were picking up NOTHING. Had to drench in soya sauce in search for an ounce of flavor. Wagamama Leeds Trinity should attack a clear gap in the market and start doubling up as a crèche - screaming children everywhere. The piercing screams were allegorical of my internal consciousness throughout this horrifying experience. We were not accommodated with our request to sit outside and so were shackled to our awful table. Literally and metaphorically left with a bad taste in our mouths.

My wife and I are regular diners at Wagamamas, from Portsmouth to York. Having never used the Leeds one we were keen to try it. As usual all the staff were pleasant and helpful and made our visit worthwhile. The mains that we ordered were lovely, but the sides weren't up to our expected mark. The Chilli squid was rubbery and the wok fried greens seemed to be bereft of garlic slices and sufficient sauce. It wasn't over busy so I couldn't justify any excuse. Won't stop us visiting again though, it was maybe just a blip is all.

Came here for mine and my partners child free date night and it didn’t disappoint. Our servers were Courtney and Shane and they were both very professional and knowledgable on the menus. We had chicken gyozas which were absoloutly perfect! The only criticism I have is that the ramen needs more protein for the price (we had the pulled brisket and it was Devine but not enough off it) Thanks for making our one night off so lovely 💙

I visited the place recently in a trip to England . I love this kind of food! We order four different plates and everything was delicious! We enjoy it till the last bite! Also the service was excellent and the help we had for my daughter who has allergy in prawns was excellent too

don’t know if they just recently hired a bunch of new staff or if they were just clueless! although the staff were friendly, they offered all of our food and drinks to different tables and offered us the wrong food not knowing which table was what. however got there in the end and the food was nice.

Me and my sister came with my daughter for her 8th Birthday the week before last. Mo was absolutely amazing, so kind, helpful and made my daughter feel so special on her Birthday. There wasn't anything too much trouble for him. The food was amazing too!

Went here w partner, the food was awful. my partner said it tasted like they put no effort into the chicken, said it was like tuna. (See photo and you'll see its basically not flavoured at all). The chairs have no back on them which is weird. We complained because my partner said there's no way he's paying full price for the food and we got a £15 off. the staff was amazing however. they were very apologetic which they didn't need to be. not their fault. very disappointed honestly, would of expected better from the place but it's fine. Total was £27, meant to be like £40 odd

The atmosphere was alright, not too busy not too quiet. The service was exceptional, very polite and kind, staff were very understanding with a complaint I had made and offered a discount on the problem. The food however was what ruined it for me, the vegetarian gyozas were great, the noodles were nice with enough seasoning however the “chicken” that came with the teriyaki soba was completely unacceptable. It had the texture of tuna, dryer than the Sahara desert whilst also being completely flavourless. As someone with a passion for good food and who doesn’t like food waste it genuinely upset me that the chicken was so terrible I could not finish the meal

Got the order wrong which is fair enough, mistakes are acceptable, just make sure you then apologise rather than roll your eyes.

I love an occasional wagas but never am i ordering them again. The squid was rubbery & the portion size of the wok fried greens is quite laughable. £30 for all this? Feel almost scammed.
