Normally really love Wagamama- especially delivery. Unfortunately, this time a whole dish was left out of the order and the best that could be done was a refund, which meant I had to do a whole new order and wait another hour to get my food. Since ordering they had sold out of the “forgotten” dish so I suspect they ran out and decided to leave it out of my order instead of calling to remedy the issue and offer a replacement. Really disappointed that this happened.

Me and a friend order from this place the mains which were a katsu curry and pork belly ramen were awful. No flavour to the curry and soggy; slimy rice. The ramen was no better. The sides we had were boa buns and butterfly prawns were standard. Could compare them to shop bought that have been friend. Definitely isn’t worth the price and I won’t be going here again

So this is my first ever experience of eating in a Wagamama. Now maybe my expectations were high, but I seriously don’t get the hype 🤔 This particular restaurant is in a very busy shopping centre. Staff were very pleasant enough & promptly seated us at a table with several other people!!! I personally find the sharing a table experience a bit “odd” it’s not as if you are just grabbing a coffee & snack. At the prices charged by Wagamama I would expect a table just for the people I’m dining with. Food on the whole was ok, but felt overpriced for what we experienced. I understand food is cooked fresh, but surely an order can be dealt with at once, rather than food being served as & when it’s ready. I’m confused as to is Wagamama a restaurant or a fast food experience, for me it felt fast food at restaurant prices. They even expect you to pay by QR code 🤔

the servers here are always so lovely despite how busy westquay is. no major problems with the food except that the bamboo shoots were not as nice this time around going, and the grilled chicken ramen does always seem to take the longest out of anything else ive ever ordered to come. however, the squid in the small plates part SO makes up for that !! never had better squid.

Visit with three friends before football. We queued for 20 minutes to get a table because they were clearly understaffed. The poor service continued with both wait times and a member of staff who was actually quite rude. Some food turned up before the drinks and although we were warned about the sporadic delivery of food, my starter and main were delivered together, after one of my fellow diners had received and eaten both of his courses. So not to be overly critical the food was good - the issues were all down to staff shortages I assume.

Really nice blonde manager with an accent, I think her name was Nicole, and daisy who served us. Food was delicious and she gave us some extra! The manager heard my friend had a bad throat so she also supplied him with some herbal tea that she said would help - this was such a nice gesture for her to notice and action! Definitely will be coming back to this restaurant because the service was great!

Nothing like the experience I am used to with this chain. They gave us the wrong dishes as the staff were confused about the orders. Quality was poor. They had run out of a side dish order but never told us. This side dish (kimchi) was also present in two main dishes. When I asked them about this they were not forthcoming. When I asked how could you serve a main dish if you were missing a main ingredient they asked if we would like a substitute!! If the kitchen runs out of ingredients then surely you would advice customers that this dish is not available rather than serve something with it missing. This restaurant needs a firm shake up as it has let the brand down. For the money we spent it was a disappointment

Food was lovely , and staff is so good except A guy on a white T-shirt with glasses and shorts I think he's a manager or area manager , he's really rude and arrogant towards customers and staff too I could see how rude and grumpy he was towards staff as well. As staff is really good who works there except this person in white T-shirt , He needs to be bit kinder towards his staff and customers because Wagamama is losing out on customers. This kind of people should be put on disciplinary notice or be removed ASAP. I won't be coming again up here in Wagamama in Southampton.

Another brilliant experience at Wagamamas..I was catching up with a friend that I hadn't seen in 6 months..Noah was our server he had the patience of a Saint.Everytime he would come over to try and take our order we hadn't even looked at the menu as we were talking to much...He is a credit to Wagamamas he was brilliant you couldn't fault him so excellent customer service...and the food was excellent as well.

Really busy the staff were very attentive a especial mention for Declan our server..when we ordered we had ordered alot of food which he past comment on( but in a nice way) but we told him that we were out celebrating our wedding anniversary,and when we went to pay the bill he very kindly had taken our drinks off as a token gesture.Even though the restaurant was heaving the food came out really quickly and hot.So well done to the chefs,I know what it's like to work in a kitchen under that pressure.

We started late looking for dinner and we decided to try Wagamama. Sam, the host told us that if we were not seated by 1930, we had to look for food elsewhere . Guess what, he tried his best and was able to seat everyone before 1930. Such an endeavor. The food and service were fantastic. But mostly, Sam did an excellent job in accommodating everyone and therefore, no one was left hungry. When we settled our bill, we found out that most of the customers are leaving tomorrow for their cruise.

Went yesterday, 1st July. Arrived and lined up wanting a table. Seeing loads of empty tables. Staff wondering around in a manic way, like if they were short staffed understandable but manage it better. No order whatsoever Was not happy when saw a waitress clearing and setting a table but then not wipeing it instead just picking up food that was on the table and setting it like it was clean. We got seated after 20 mins, seeing loads of empty tables. We were hungry so was looking forward to the food. Waiter came over could hardly hear him but ordered what we wanted and then left to it. Don't know how long we waited but throughout the wait we saw food and drinks on the side no care or rush to actually give them out. My gyoyzas were colder than normal, sat on the side too long. Katsu curry was good some of the vegetables were abit hard. Didn't complain as waiters didn't show much interest in us even while trying to call them over. Even we had problems paying so trying to ask one waiter to bring a bill over or for us to pay on card we couldn't do so went up to the desk. Got thanked for our patience but still not a nice experience. Portion sizes great though but it wasn't as good as it has been. Hoping this is a one off.

Chicken yakitori was ok but you really can t get that wrong, Chicken ramen was ok but the pad thai was terrible, too much chilli which is not traditionally in a chicken pad thai and generally looked horrible, like it was a mish mash of ingredients and tasted very average! Won t be going back to the Wagama chain unless it s in another country! :((

The food is really lovely but potions are TINY! So its not worth the money. I ordered a yasi soba (noodles with vegetables) but got half a plate with the smallest amout of noodles so it was baisically half a plate of vegetables and it cost £11! I was too hungry so i ate what i could and took the vegetables home to use in a different dish I made that night. Still left feeling really hungry :( Previous trips have been a lot better hence the 3 star otherwise would be 1 or 2. Bring the portions back up and you will do better business!!!!

We had a fantastic experience in Wagamama today. We ordered the Pad thia chicken and prawn which was delicious. We also had the chicken katsu and that was great, albeit, spicer than we thought. The duck gyoza was very tasty indeed. The service was flawless. We’ll certainly visit again. There are two amazing views, one overlook the inside of West quay and the other overlook the docks and the ships( see videos).

Wow! Best wagas I have had in a long time. There was a massive queue but we moved through quickly and service was efficient for how busy they were. Food was delicious, we shared the chilli squid and bang bang cauliflower starters then I had my favourite yaki udon. The high five juice was also delicious. I recently visited the Wagamama restaurant located in Westquay, Southampton with my family on Tuesday, April 11th. We were pleased at how quickly we were seated, despite the long queue when we arrived. The staff members were friendly and courteous throughout our visit, which was a positive experience. However, I need to point out some serious issues we have faced during our visits to other locations, which I hope can improve. After placing our order, our drinks were delivered at an acceptable time. However, the main dishes were brought out to the table separately; first, the ramen, followed by the kids' meals ten minutes later, and then, the last dish landed on the table 15 minutes after that, despite reminding two different members of staff of the problem. In addition, the sharing dishes arrived after we had almost finished our mains. Clearly, this is a weakness in the organization of the kitchen, possibly with the way and order the kitchen receives the orders. I hope the management team at Wagamama can look into these issues to improve their services for future patrons. Despite this, I would still recommend the restaurant. The fantastic food is truly worth the wait in line.

When in West Quay our usual go to is Yo but we agreed we haven't been to a Wagamama for a while so decided to join the short queue. It did seem a tad understaffed but once order taken food started arriving at a good pace. We have our usual go to dishes and have to give kudos to the kitchen. Everything was spot on. Not the most relaxing of branches but for the quality of food excellent.

Waited 20 minutes before even being asked what drinks we wanted, & that was after asking not 1 but 2 members of staff if they could take our order. Pint of beers weren’t full to the top. Tide was clearly out. One meal came with beef & not the chicken we asked for. The other meal was a full on salt bomb.

I used to love Wagamama food and service. However the last three times I have had dinner at Wagamama's the service and the food has decreased in quality and attention.
