Wagamama in Crawley

This place has a lot of vegan options on the menu but as it turns out they only have 4 available out 20, it’s the second time this happens at the same location, very disappointing.

Food was lovely. Ordered number 42. We were served by Jacob. Very friendly service and polite too. Thank you Jacob for being attentive😀

Had a fantastic time with family here in late August. SPECIAL THANK YOU to David, the young man who was extremely polite, helpful and informative on the day. He was gracious enough to initiate the change of my order (pad thai) to the vegan corn dogs, which I really enjoyed. Please give him a raise/bonus because his customer service was superb!

Very unprofessional and rude service old blonde white lady. Wagamama staff told me to make payment online, which I did and it showed paid. And went through. I Stood up was going out. The unprofessional rude old lady described above shouted and asked your payment if out standing in front of everyone. I should her the screen that is shows paid. The. She said ok did not apologise. I have been going to Wagamama for years but have never seen such a pathetic and rude service. Wagamama make sure you get staff that have some IQ. Regret giving tip but other staff was professional.

I’ve never been to Wagamama for breakfast but will definitely be going back for sure, especially when I fly! From start to finish the experience was superb, being greeted by the super friendly and welcoming Alfie to the server Grace nothing was too much trouble both are a real credit to Wagamama. Food came quickly and was tasty, it was explained that some dishes were unavailable, no problem, still plenty of choice available. All in all a great experience, highly recommended.

My recent dining experience right before catching a flight was profoundly disappointing, casting a shadow over the end of our vacation. The restaurant, chosen for its convenience and the promise of a good meal, failed to deliver on multiple fronts.Upon our arrival, we were greeted and led to our table with a direct view of the kitchen, an aspect that initially piqued our interest. Expecting a pleasant meal, we placed our orders and awaited the arrival of our food. However, after a 30-minute wait with no updates, we inquired about our meal, only to observe a sudden flurry of activity and apparent confusion within the kitchen staff.This confusion escalated when a waitress approached us, asking if our order was meant for takeout—a surprising question given our obvious dine-in setting. Following our clarification, a visible dispute among the kitchen staff ensued, culminating in the chef hastily transferring our food from plastic containers into a serving dish in a manner that could only be described as careless. The resultant presentation was far from appetizing, with the food haphazardly thrown together, seemingly echoing the chef's indifferent shrug.When the waitress returned to serve the unappealing dish, I questioned the presentation and what had transpired. Although she seemed to understand our dissatisfaction, her return to the kitchen did not resolve the issue. At this point, disillusioned and pressed for time, we decided to leave, foregoing the meal entirely.This experience was not only frustrating but also a regrettable way to conclude our vacation. It's clear that this restaurant lacks in communication, care for food presentation, and customer service. I cannot recommend it and will certainly not return in the future. It's a shame to witness such a lack of professionalism in what could have been a delightful dining experience

Classic visit to highly dependable outlet of Wagster at Gatwick North. No queue but it's New Year's Day not high summer madness. Classic and predictable order: firecracker prawns for me firecracker chicken for La Signora. Solid quality: no deviation from rest of W franchise. Had a ginger drink thing and frau B had green tea. Had an admittedly miserable lil bowl of Japanese pickles with it. Came to about 42.00 without service payment. Much nicer experience than Rip off experts Pret A Manger next door where 42 quid buys a few coffees and the odd sarnie. Vivat Waga!

Gatwick airport North Terminal This restaurant should not offer English breakfasts! Early flight so went here for breakfast - the picture looked good but the offering was appalling! The whole meal, including the tomatoes and scrambled eggs were so greasy - and the fat tasted like it needed changing badly. A smaller issue but an indication of how poor the place was - I asked for poached eggs instead of fried - despite the 6 cooks in the kitchen at 7am and not being busy - such an ask was beyond their culinary skills. But scrambled eggs were possible. Myst be because poached eggs are cooked in water and not fat! The tea and cappuccino were nice. They took the cost of the meal (which I sent back) off the bill. Shame as the staff were very pleasant and didn’t seem at all surprised at my disappointment with what was served!

20 mins for 2 beers. Rude slow host! Dont go! Not busy, so slow, no sense of urgency for travelers.

A very welcome surprise to find Wagamama’s at Gatwick. With the number of people eating there I thought we could be waiting a while but the food came really quickly. Fantastic service from Sam the manager, and as always a super delicious meal. Thank you Wagamama!

what an amazing customer service and team. My daughter did not like the look of anything on the breakfast menu and, although it was only 6.30 she had been up 4 hours so they made her the fish bites you get on the regular menu. I cannot praise them highly enough for seeing a very hungry child and accommodating her.

Gat a table after a brief wait ... this place is popular. Service once seated was a touch slow, but we had time. My partner has a food allergy and they were prepared to deal with that. Our food was delicious, drinks too. We had a brief hassle paying with a credit card from the USA (can't touch to pay), but all in, a very good dining experience for an airport.

It was amazing the service was great the food was delicious and Shay the lady who served us was outstanding. Time went fast and the food was so nice. We wanted Nandos but the welcome we received on arrival was so rude. So we decided not to go inside. The kids picked Wagamama as their next choice. Absolutely terrible experience. Service was awful, food cooked incorrectly and then burnt. An example of the service. I could see our drinks on the bar. I asked a waitress if she could follow up on them. She took all the waiting drinks on the bar to other customers but left our drinks where they were. We used to love going to Wagamama before our flight. We will never go there again.

We had a horrendous experience at this Wagmamma. The staff were rude and unhelpful. We first sat down and we understand that it was busy but the experience was horrible. I first received the wrong food, which I was understandable mistakes happy the staff were busy. My friends food had arrived but still no drinks. My friend had finished her meal and the drink still had not come. I asked the member of staff that we were not happy that my friend had finished her meal but she had no got her drink and we didn’t have want to pay for the coke. She said she would speak to the manager. Our bill came and the coke was still on so we asked the waitress why the coke was on there as we were not happy to pay it due to the meal being finished. She said her manager wouldn’t remove this from the bill so we asked to speak to the manager. The manager who refused to give us his name was rude, he told said ‘that we are understaffed and you drank the coke so there is nothing he could do.’ He was so rude and shut down everything we said. He didn’t listen to us or even try to understand our issue. We then said how unhappy we was by the service and how we don’t appreciate his rudeness and he just apologised. When waiting for the card machine 5 minutes later he put a new bill on our table with the coke removed. This whole issue was all for nothing! And made the start of our holiday stressful and uncomfortable!! Will definitely not be eating there again.

Very limited gluten free breakfast menu, so they could do with having some more gluten free options. However the food was very nice and they took care to avoid cross-contamination so was safe for me to eat as a Coeliac.

Ok I'm biased because I love wagamama but it was particularly great to find it at the airport, so I could actually have a nice dinner before flying after a sightseeing weekend. Staff were super nice and the table had a socket, so much needed since I had both my boarding pass and the bus ticket in my phone and I had used most of my battery during the day. Also opening hours are more convenient than other airport restaurants - it was open until 9pm. I had tofu pad thai and vegetarian dumplings. Both very nice.

First you queue to get in. I was met by nice woman, but then chaos ensued. I had to wait 30 minutes to place the food & drink order. After 15 minutes the water arrived but as the food hadn’t after having sat there for total of 1 hour, I left. As I had insisted of getting the table number I was able to pay before I left. £16 for water and now I am starving

Had an early morning flight and came in for breakfast, Service was friendly and efficient, food was hot and fresh from their new menu. Grace was excellent, making sure we had everything we needed and did not rush us out the door when we had finished eating.

Stopped there early morning 4 for breakfast full English with pre heated eggs and screwed up bacon not fresh at all very appalling, only good thing was tea, waste of money , I do not feel like ever eating out for breakfast shame on you .

So we visited as a family this morning. We were rather excited as my son had heard great things about here. I can’t believe we paid for such sub standard food - I really don’t know where to start. My scrambled egg had been cooked in a burnt pan (several black bits gave that away), toast wasn’t toasted, food didn’t come together, extra bacon came 15 minutes before the sausage wraps - tbf girl did say do you want some fresh bacon (think our faces said it all) ……I could go on and be more critical but I won’t as not fair to the hard working staff but we left and went to Wetherspoons for a drink and omg the plates of food being served up there were fair more superior. Sorry Wagamama but you really need to give the Gatwick airport place a shake cos from what I understand overall nationally you have a very good reputation.
