Waduds in Braintree

First visit since reopened under new management and was not disappointed. Wonderful menu of Indian and Thai, fantastic flavours, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Definitely will revisit.

Just returned from having our Easter Day buffet lunch to celebrate my mum’s Birthday. The food was delicious and the staff were brilliant - very attentive and polite. They found out it was my mum’s birthday on arrival and surprised her at the end of the meal with a cake and candle, and the staff sang happy birthday which made mum’s day! Thanks again for a lovely meal. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant last night. As soon as we arrived a plate of poppadoms were placed on our table which was a nice touch. The staff were all very nice and attentive. Food was good and we will definitely be going back. They have refurbished it tastefully.

The food and service was excellent. Especially recommend the green Thai curry and pad Thai. The Thai sharing starter was exceptional too. Really well decorated and staff so friendly too. Perfect!

This afternoon, we decided to try out Wadud’s Fusion for their Sunday à la carte buffet. Despite passing by the restaurant countless times, I was intrigued by the positive reviews and finally decided to give it a try. The meal was absolutely fantastic, with delicious food and exceptionally friendly waiters who ensured everything was just right. I rated the service an 4 out of 5, and while the ambiance was lovely, it could be enhanced by adding some pictures or decorations on the walls. Additionally, I ordered a liqueur coffee with Cointreau, while my companions ordered theirs with brandy. However, I found it a bit odd that they received appropriate glasses for their drinks, while mine was served in a mug. It may seem trivial, but it would be nice if the table was cleared of any food debris before the next main course. Overall, it was a delightful afternoon, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

We were so delighted with our first visit to Waduds. We were made so very welcome and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The menu is extensive with a superb choice of Indian and Thai dishes. The food was fabulous! We’ll definitely come back again.

Manager and staff are friendly and attentive, food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for high quality dishes, highly recommended.

I visited this restaurant on Wednesday the 13 of March, it was unreal service and even better food! I then came back tonight with different family members and again did not disappoint! I highly recommend this restaurant and Al the Manager is brilliant. I hope this restaurant gets all the support to keep it going. Well done Al and the team.

Ordered take away for a friends birthday, food was ok but missing 3 items and also received madras instead of bhuna. Busy night, big order so accept it may not be 100%. However when we called to tell them, staff member was rude and wouldn’t accept they got it wrong. Had to drive back to sort and won’t be going back !

Went for Sunday buffet lunch al a carte and was phenomenal value for money the service from al the server and his knowledge of the menu and recommendations was spot on then went for Wednesday banquet and was blown away again by far the best Indian in town

Amazing service . Genuinely made to feel welcome . Food was hot and so much to choose from . Will defiantly be returning . Sunday buffet is freshly prepared and brought to table x well done . Driven past so many times lots of parking so no excuse

We had a takeaway the weekend before as we fancied Thai and was very impressed, so much so that we felt a visit was in order. The decor was new and very nice, service was excellent and we had Thai again, it was extremely good, mixed starter, beef massaman and a yellow curry. Definitely be back

The food fusion experience is fantastic and really works. The food is tasty, well cooked and well presented. The staff are attentive and the manager was a really friendly, approachable man who clearly has a passion for making sure his guests are happy. I’ve been here twice since the reopening and will be going again and again. This is worth a look if you love food, good service and a comfortable environment. You will not be disappointed

Popped in for the first time today. We seldom do reviews but wanted to because today’s food was just so nice. We were made welcome and served the best Thai we have had. We will be back soon.
