A hidden Gem well worth a visit really lovely people!

Came in by chance on a drizzly Monday afternoon, and we were very pleasantly suprised. The Veggie board was very good as was the cheeseboard and the chicken burger. Would come here again

Went for the bottomless brunch and it was amazing! ACTUAL cocktails on the menu, pina colada, mojito etc. and once your drink is half empty, you can get another! The food was AMAZING. Im a wine and cheese girly and the Meat and cheese platter was stunning. Fast service, lovely staff.

What can I say but a huge THANKYOU to the team at VSQ who delivered the most amazing party for me this Saturday!! Anthony organised everything to the smallest detail! The food amazing! The bubbles flowing ! The service just fantastic! Thankyou for making my 60th birthday party such a memorable occasion! Love you all!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

One of the best Gin / Cocktails bars i have ever been to in Skipton amazingly servied by the amazingly & beautiful assistant manager lady with the Red Hair & also the awesome manager who knows his stuff about Cocktails & Rum too. I highly recommended VSQ i love it.

What a lovely place! Visited today and got a cream tea and 'cream Latte' The gent who served me was really nice and polite, the tea was spot on! One of the best cups of tea I've had (bar my own ha!) The scones were delicious and had been warmed a little which was such a lovely touch! Highly recommended, would definitely come here again next time I'm in Skipton raiding the Art Shop 😅

Cozy place with good choice of food and drinks. Would prefer not to have coffee served in "buckets"! We like our americanos smaller and less watery.

Passing through and stopped in for a drink, noticed bottle we were served was 2 months out of date. Mentioned this as we were leaving (wasn’t complaining I’d drank it knowingly), was told there’s out of date and best before, understand that however it’s not really the point though as when you’re paying £8 for a bottle of beer, you’d expect it to be within its best before date.

Good food and suitably quick service however was not given the choice of the the flavour of chips served with my toastie, which turned out not to be ready salted that is commonly served to appeal to most people.

My mum and me went for brunch yesterday for my mum’s birthday Ended up unplanned staying their added two friends Amy and the team made a amazing job of a platter for tea and amazing cocktails making my mums day great And making it feel really special Thanku Amy for letting us have so much fun all day xxx

Cheap blended whisky in the godfather cocktail,, and only 3 ingredients used in a 5 ingredient Long Island ,, overpriced for this reason

We were being touristy folk!! And fancied a nice lunch out, caught sight of this place. We were welcomed and helped in. ( I was in my disability scooter). The food was fabulous, the staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I had the meat platter for 1, it was huge. If you're eating there ( and I would recommend that you do) remember to take a big appetite too. 😋

The room needed heating up it was very cold

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. If I could give minus stars it would be minus 10. Having visited previously and enjoying the experience we decided to come again whilst in Skipton. I called in for a drink. I went to the toilet and there was urine all over all the toilet rims. I told a staff member who happened to be in the toilet at the time that they needed attention. On leaving the toilet I sat at the bar with ny husband, (my husband had had a drink served and it was front of him). I preceeded to tell him about the poor state of the toilets, on hearing my discussion of the facilities with my husband, the girl behind the bar took his beer off him and told us to leave. Never seen such rude behaviour from bar staff. We travel extensively and the poor attitude was unprecedented. Obnoxious beyond words.

Nice and trendy, good atmosphere and good food.

We, (two gimmers and 30+ year old son) decided to sample the 2 4 1 cocktails, and several other offers, in a very nice bar, served by a very nice lady, and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. 😀👍

Nice relaxed place. Had coffee which was delicious and a bite to eat but was limited in choice as they had run out of quite a few things on their menu. Friendly staff.

It really was OK not worth making a special visit noise utilitarian expensive there are better places within a few 100 metres

We had a few drinks outside in the sun, lovely experience and the staff were very pleasant.

Service was slow the person who served us was unfriendly and the food was very unimpressive. We only went there because there weren't any seats where we really like to go

An excellent Bar with exceptional friendly staff! A 'must visit' destination for any visitors to Skipton. Great food, even greater selection of drinks, extremely comfortable Lounge to eat, drink and be happy!

Gorgeous bar/cafe setting and very friendly service. The hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows was delish, as was the latte. Highly recommended.

Great place for Pie and Pea's, our favourite is the Jam and Cream Scone with a cup of Coffee.

Visited last night the staff and cocktails are great. However the owner/manager was rude, aggressive and insulting to myself and my friend when asking us to leave. We had full drinks costing £10 each and was asked to move downstairs which we did. Whilst having a pleasant conversation with the barman. A women turned up at the side of us asking I'd to leave in an agitated, aggressive Manor. She insisted we had be asked several times which we hadn't and continued shouting in our faces. She told us we know the rules as everyone around Skipton knows. When we explained we was not from around this area and hadn't been asked to leave, she decided to insult our home town in a tone that would suggest we was below her. The way this women was towards us was disgusting and unprofessional.

It's always a pleasant, chilled and relaxed atmosphere, pleasant staff, decor and surroundings. Would be 5 but I'm not a cocktail person. Went in as part of a group. Also prices are a bit on the high side. All in all a good experience.

Called in here today our first post lockdown drink , very friendly staff amazing gin menu but they also do tea,coffee cakes scones etc .I tried the English garden gin cocktail which was gorgeous

If you're into gin this is the place to be. Right in the heart of this bustling traditional market town. Wheelchair friendly and serving food so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the friendly banta from the staff. You won't forget your visit, that is unless you try too many wonderful gins.

We went in for breakfast and a coffee our order was taken 45 minutes later they brought our coffee I know the xmas markets were on but they kept saying how busy they were 3 tables empty and 3 staff on we asked were our sandwich was after 50 minute only to b told they were very busy which they were not and it would b another 20 minute wait for our sandwich so I got up and paid for our drinks and told them the service was not excellent and was again told they were rushed off there feet doing nothing very disappointing hence this poor review

Spent a couple of hours over lunchtime today, the lady behind the bar was really helpful when choosing drinks, so cosy & warm & talked at length re the "Gin Palace" as I called it. We enjoyed a superb lunch, decided that it was one of the friendliest, cosiest & all round good places to visit. Do not miss this gem. Lesley Creighton

Was on holiday and decided to go in here for a drink really nice looking establishment. Then to be told they wouldn't take a Scottish £10 note. We were told the owner will not accept them very disappointed considering it is legal tender. So if you are Scottish I would stay away from this place clearly we're not wanted.
