I went with my husband and a lady friend of ours. We popped in for lunch. Votadini is a lovely coffee shop owned by the extremely friendly Brunton Family. It has a very varied menu. From their famous mince and tatties to home made soups and choice of puddings and ice creams. Old fashioned sweetie shop.for bringing back memories of childhoods lost. This Family friendly shop encourages the customers to bring in their dogs, very pet friendly. With a lovely warm old fashion range fire on the cold days . It's the kind of place where you will want to linger over a coffee and a cake

Stopped off for coffee on our tour around Dunbar and its neighbouring villages. We were so impressed we returned the next day to sample the cooked breakfast (although it was late dinner) which was gorgeous. Very friendly staff, clean and a very warm welcome awaits any visitor.

Arrived in East Linton this afternoon, after a long drive, desperate for coffee & cake. We came across this wee cafe which was still open at 16.05 plus they also allowed dogs to come in, exactly what we required!! The owner said that they close at 16.30 but would be happy to serve while customers were still in the shop, delightful customer service, speedy & the young waitress brought our coffee & cake quickly with a smile. Food & drink was fab, so don't drive past this wee gem when next in East Linton or the the A1 anywhere near there !!

East Linton lies halfway between North Berwick and Dunbar on the John Muir Way. Consequently, it was a convenient place to stop for lunch during our walk. Votadini is a charming traditional tea and coffee shop with a good selection of food at reasonable prices. The shop was clean and tidy and service from the ladies running it was efficient and friendly. We only spent a short time here before resuming our walk but this was a very welcome break.

Amazing Sunday lunch. Beef melted in your mouth. Huge portions. So tasty. Highly recommend.

Was rank, coffee was weak and hair in my pastry.. wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy to be honest. Would recommend Gregg's round the corner in all fairness.

Seems to be going down hill - toastie was a bit tasteless, cake was terrible - gluten free lime and coconut but so so stale and dry - didn't finish it. Coffee was good. When we mentioned the cake wasn't nice the waitress just smiled - An apology and perhaps it being taken off the bill would have been more appropriate.

Absolutely fantastic as always, both servers were brilliant. Food was outstanding as always. Even although the place was not busy the atmosphere was brilliant. Really enjoyed the flat iron steak it was so tender. Thank you everyone involved

A gem in Haddington with lots of nice homemade cosy food, a bakery and a shop! Go there for spending relaxing time with family and friends or just to treat yourself! Grilled nectarine and halloumi quinoa salad already replicated at home! Gnammy!
