Voodoo Daddy's in Norwich

What a place. Worth coming to Norwich for just the pizza. The price only 6 quid is epic for the quality and size. I'm coming back!!!

I came to Voodoo Daddy’s for a gig but ended up eating too. Super friendly and great food! The venue is also amazing, so great and important that Norwich has somewhere like this!

The guy making the pizza here is a genius. Absolutely delicious. Nice choice of music too. I’ll be coming back.

Great wee venue for a pizza & a gig.

Went down tonight as part of a Freshers event and did not regret it at all! From the atmosphere to the food it was a really great evening. Was there for a comedy and pizza night and the comedians were hilarious, really entertaining set. The food is lovely can genuinely say it's some of the best pizza I've had. And the selection of drinks is brilliant. The staff were really helpful and overall it was a wonderful experience. Cannot recommend enough! Prices vary depending on what you're buying but I think you definitely get your money's worth in the end. Will defo be coming back again!!

Great atmosphere, fab selection of alcohol, lovely staff and lovely pizzas. Quality of the sound when watching the bands was great as well : an excellent venue!

First time visiting, definitely won't be our last! Pizzas were incredible at great value for money 💸 Service was warm and friendly and straight to the point and got us our order quickly. Really cool, unique style of pizza resturant and enjoyed the scenery while enjoying a great pizza 🍕

Quite a funky and unique music venue. The pizza looked, and smelled, great. Will have to try that next time

Voodoo Daddy's showroom used to be my favourite place on a night out in Norwich, always used to recommend to colleagues and mates, but I feel since the move they have 'sold-out'. I agree the new gig venue downstairs is better acoustically, but everywhere else has lost the home-ly feel the old venue had. It is practically just another bar for Gonzos now (even having to walk next door to use Gonzo's toilets), rather than a separate bar for the people who like good music and a good pint. You can no longer enjoy a pint and a smoke outside, the layout is completely different and having a sit-down and playing some retro videogames or having a go at Guitar-Hero is awkward. Still the staff, the drinks and food are incredible. I think the pizza is one of the best in Norwich and the staff are inviting and friendly. I would still recommend this place, but to a separate audience. Maybe a date night or a recommendation to one of my older colleagues, but it is no-longer the trendy and easy-going place it once was.

Great basement music venue. Never eaten there yet, but pizzas look amazing. Cocktails were 2 for £10 on my last visit.

Busy, buzzy and smells of amazing pizza!

First visit to Voodoo’s in their new location and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Staff are really friendly, helpful and welcoming and the ambiance is really cool. I had come here for a gig to see Low Girl, and the live venue downstairs is perfect to see intimate live music. Decided to have a pizza as well, which far exceeded my expectations, I truly didn’t think it’d be so delicious. The only slight negative for me was there seemed to be less real ale on tap than they had at the old location, but otherwise I couldn’t fault it at all.

My friend and I came here to try the pizzas and they did not disappoint. The toppings where super flavoursome and the pizza was very filling. The venue itself feels a bit like a fever dream - very engaging and has a great vibe. As graphic designers, the copy writing on the menu was also very fun for us to look at. We'd love to come back in the future!

Quirky hidden gem! Delicious homemade pizzas with cheeky happy hour cocktails depending on what day you go on. Featuring live music and old school arcade games that bring back memories. Staff are extremely outgoing and great to be around. I always have to drop by when visiting Norwich.

Went to see my nephews band Mama Oh No here (who were great!). Good atmosphere with friendly bar staff.

Voodoo Daddy's has moved unfortunately. Maybe they had to, but the new site, next to Gonzo's tea room, is a far cry from their original premises. It doesn't have the same feel or atmosphere. The stage area, if you're here for a live act, is much the same though, so no complaints there. I'm sure the pizza is still excellent, though there are only 3 tables.

I saw St Agnes here, I thought it was a wonderful little venue. The staff were very friendly, the bar staff were chatty. The gig was also fantastic. We didn't eat so can't rate that. If i lived in Norwich i think this would be my regular haunt.

Staff are fantastic and really fun to be around, honestly I'd be more inclined to visit as a bar than a restaurant (despite charging £6.50 a pint) as the pizza for £16 was fairly run of the mill and £2.50 for a pot of garlic mayo is daylight robbery!

Voodoo Daddy's no longer sells food at this location. However we went for the music and the music was sensational. Bands upstairs in a decent sized venue with great sound. Brilliant beers from the bar and great service. I can't wait to go back!

Got pizza from here last night - 1 slice margherita, 1 slice vegetarian. The vege had just come out and was piping hot - excellent - great sauce, crispy base, solid toppings. Service was 5*s, definitely recommend!

Great welcome from door staff both with fab sense of humour. Amazing pizza, good value for money. Really enjoyed listening to the music upstairs, opened by Zigarettes. Fun evening, thank you.

The pizza was amazing and the menu has a great variety, although we had to wait for an hour until it was served. We were offered a drink on the house for the wait, my friend got hers but I never got my glass of water ( I was having trouble to breathe in the very smoky room). Loved the environment (except for the smoke) and the food. I was IDed (I’m 27) after just ordering a pizza and a coca cola, funny?

The pizza here is absolutely amazing, we had a booth with Mario Kart. Loved it, the cocktails were brilliant to say the least. Very happy overall, would reccomend to anyone who wants a fun time in Norwich.

First time here, to see live music headlined by Marseille. Got a pic with Tom the drummer. I worked with his dad over 25 years ago. Got a signed CD by the band. Great sets by the band and support.

Amazing place! My friend nearly died eating your challenge pizza and hasn't shut up about it since! I however loved the place and the Burger Voodoo pizza was absolutely stunning

Cool underground feeling bar that does phenomenal pizzas. Almost too many to choose from, but their standard Voodoo Daddy’s or The Beast always please. Staff are super friendly and make great drinks, and the music room upstairs frequently hosts interesting gigs: I’ve seen a jazz band and Latin band play there so far 👌🏼 Definitely a bar I return to!

Had no idea this place even existed but I will definitely be back. Pizza was immense and piping hot, drinks were reasonably priced and the bar staff and atmosphere were also very good.

Bit small but good intimate venue. The place offers good food and drinks. It's a nice bustling amstophere. Good place for live music as well. Wish it could be bigger though.

Ordered using just eat but leaving a review here because just eat edited my review and left out the bad bits! Ordered from here and pizza was nice. Original toppings and tasted delicious. Problem was that both pizzas each had a really long hair in them. One blonde and one red. It grossed us out honestly and it’s such a shame because it would have been 5 star if it wasn’t for the hair. Wear hair nets people! Sure I’m a vegetarian, but I don’t want the extra protein.

I didn't know what to expect when we walked through the gate into the world of Voodoo Daddys! It was fab! The atmosphere was buzzing with themed cocktails and pizzas in boxes, And then a drag show upstairs! What a great night out, we will be back! We came back and were not disappointed, although i have found that pubs niw seem to serve sugar free mixers without asking! I hate that!

Delicious pizzas with plenty of options cor vegetarian / vegan and original toppings. The music upstairs is always fun. N64 and guitar hero is also set up for a bit of gaming while you wait, and the bar staff are always super friendly!

An excellent bar, along with delicious pizzas and friendly staff. With retro arcade games, and tables with built in street fighter it seems impossible to be in Voodoo Daddies and not have fun. The music venue upstairs is great too. Not boasting in size, it holds just over one hundred standing guests. But with fabulous decor, the venue provides for an intimate performance whatever the act.

Very disappointed with the delivery time. I ordered 2 pizzas on a Wednesday night using Deliveroo. ETA was an hour from the order time. After 1 hour 30 minutes still no pizza and the status on Deliveroo was still in being prepared. I called to find out what was going on. I was told they’ll be with me in 10 minutes and during that call the status on Deliveroo changed to out for delivery. At that point I got the feeling the order had been missed or was forgotten about. If it was forgotten about, I would’ve preferred them to be honest. Another 15 minutes passed before we got the food. The pizzas weren’t bad but not worth waiting 1 hour 45 minutes for

Me and a friend visited for dinner and had a fantastic time, the barmaid who served me in particular was very chatty and jolly, the drinks top notch and the pizza out of this world. Will return without question.

The best pizza I’ve ever eaten, and they played Maggot Brain by Funkadelic while I was eating it which made the whole experience nothing short of transcendent.

Had dinner there , they only do pizza but they are so good. The pizza's are different to any where else with things like polish sausage and all sorts. Very quirky place with a rock venue . Definitely go again.

Good pizzas and cocktails but the best is the room with stage upstairs where we listened to 3 lovely music performances.

Went here for a drag show on a Friday night. The show and pizzas (new and improved menu coming soon) were amazing and the staff were all very friendly. The cocktails were also very good. You can order pizza for delivery which I would recommend doing it you don't fancy leaving the sofa!
