The picture is a pizza from another chip shop(Minerva in Howden)Showing it's not burnt because I had got one from vittorios takeaway and it was burnt but the pizza chef said all pizzas are like that but clearly as seen on the picture this one is not.Was a loyal customer but will not be returning!

Ordered special fish supper and garlic and cheese pizza, fish and pizza was great but the chip's were looking warm and was not enjoyable, would be better with hot fresh chips.

Wrote an honest review on scoffable about our order considering the kebab portion sizes were pitiful and the king rib didn’t taste the nicest (in comparison to previous orders from the same place only last year) I received a very unprofessional reply from the staff basically telling us good luck on finding the right portion size and they wondered why we ordered from them instead of the few chippys that are more local to us😂 For reference the “large” Donner kebab was in the same size container as the small chicken kebab which consisted of a very small pitta and about 5 pieces of chicken if you’re lucky. Certainly did not reflect the price of the kebabs in my opinion. We like to chop and change where we get takeaways from based on past experiences and clearly the owners have changed hands since the last time we ordered from them and it seems to have gone downhill with a bad attitude towards any form of criticism. Good luck to them surviving as a successful business with a lack of good food or any customer service skills🙂 highly would not recommend.

Used to go often to Vittorios but previous visit we were disappointed. Decided to give it another go. Despite being 6pm on a Saturday night, chips were limp, greasy and cold. Fish was dried up, tasteless and must have been lying. Not sure if it’s new management or using cheaper produce but we would not go back. Waste of money as 70% of meals were binned.

Not pleased tonight. Usually no issues but absolutely disappointed tonight. I always order the same thing and tonight my order was wrong - sometimes it happens that’s fine but when I called to say that a sauce was wrong and that there was no salad on the burger I was met with a very very rude woman on the phone who tried to tell me that my partner didn’t order these (baring in mind he was right beside me when he ordered so I know he did and I always get the same order). She then proceeded to tell me she will be back in a minute and sat the phone down and I was able to still here her speaking with other staff and saying she: 1 - read the order back and it was confirmed - it was not read back, again I was right there and it was on speaker so I could the order being ordered 2 - then proceeded to say ‘she is calling complaining and I know that’s what he agreed to’ 3 - then said ‘the driver is out so there’s nothing I can do about it’ While the entire time being extremely rude and I wasn’t asking for it to be changed I wanted to make them aware of the issues. Disgusted by whatever female was working tonight - customer service was awful. Need to either train your staff to have manners or get a new staff member.

Quick delivery 🚚 chips were plentiful & nice - garlic & chilli sauce nice but expensive - pizza cold ( binned ) - kebab didn’t like how the lamb was cooked came in chunks as opposed to slices - ( also binned ) £20 down the drain first and last unfortunately

I ordered through the app and waited for over an hour and have an order conformation email. I was then phoned and told they won’t be delivering my meal (after I waiting an HOUR) and told there wasn’t anything they could do. Shocking that there was nothing offered to us and that they made no attempt to fix or compensate for their error. Clearly need to fix their system as nothing at all came up when I ordered to say they won’t deliver to my area nor did anyone notice until over an hour later!

The customer service here is awful. I ordered a meal a few months back which was incorrect, when I phoned up the girl was first of all nice but when I asked for them to send out the correct meal and after speaking to her manager her tone changed. After receiving my new order I received a call from the restaurants manager being rude to me for asking them to correct their mistake and accused me of ‘tampering with the meal’. I thought this was an isolated incident but I tried ordering tonight. They cancelled my order when it came through and lied and said they hadn’t. I have now been charged and haven’t been issued a refund. Unfortunately the food from here is always really nice but the managers attitude really isn’t worth it. I’d avoid.

Never had a bad experience from here and is definitely the best chippy in west lothian , so fresh never any reheats or bad dinners they always make sure its to scratch and always arrives hot and fast which is a bonus 👌 wont go anywhere else now

Ordered our food using their own app and the food was just finished being cooked and started being boxed at the collection time. Take-away pizza much better than any of the chains. Just had the Italian Calzone and it was one of the best that I've every had - fantastic! My other family members each had their own pizza and they also enjoyed them - the key measure : there wasnt a morsel left at the end.

Much improved service, at this take-away with the fish and chips getting back to the original high standard we had a few years ago. We have been regular users over the last few months.

Celabrating a birhday, first time here for me, Birthday girl has been here previously. Made to feel very welcome from the moment we entered the door. Food was lovely and service was unhurried. An enjoyable evening, would return in a heartbeat.

The staff are courteous and efficient and the food is what you would expect from a good scottish chipshop. Prices fairly consistent with those in the central belt. The pizzas made in the pizza oven are very good; and are better than dominos etc imho.

Excellent choice, freshest of food, good prices, friendly staff, caters for all ages, take away only. Pizza ovens available, kebabs etc. Great place for food.

Ordered items for our dinner and it arrived in time for an early supper after 1 hour 25 mins late, luke warm! For the cost and time wasted I would have been better burning a couple of ten pound notes and making something for myself. So never to be used again there are plenty of other takeaways that arrive in reasonable time and reasonable warm.

Have used Vittorios previously as a chippie and hadnt really considered getting a Pizza there, given that we are spoilt for choice in that regard, with Tomy Macaroni's, Domino's and Pizza Hut all close at hand. Shame we hadnt tried their take-away Pizza's earlier as they are great! WIll use them for Pizza from now on.

We were promised a free replacement after a cold meal and very late, ordered this again 3 weeks later and arrived early 2 hours early, ask for one to be sent at the usual time after all we are good customers, refused new management??? Lost a good customer, never be back.MUST AVOID

First time ordering from here and we were very impressed! Within minutes of ordering, we had a phonecall asking what flavour juice we preferred as they had a choice. Food was hot, desserts chilled, generous toppings on pizzas, generous fresh salad on burger, and everything was there as requested Delivered early by pleasant delivery man. Brilliant! Highly recommended.

Normally never have a problem with this restaurant but the special fish was so overcooked you couldn't even pick it up with a fork as it just disintegrated

Food wasn't great . The container wasn't closed properly, so one meal was all over the bad and the pizza was stuck to the bag.

called when order hadn’t arrived to be advised that they had a glitch in the system and hadn’t received my order, then they found it, was delivered quickly but kebab was covered in chilli sauce that was supposed to be on the side and no garlic sauce that was paid for, not great 😡😡

Very disappointed as I ordered pizza fungi described as mushrooms, cheese, sliced potato, herbs and onions and got an average pizza with tomato base, cheese and a few micro thin slices of mushrooms what happened to the other ingredients. First and LAST time I will order from here

they forgot my chips you should have a burger supper option on all burgers like other restaurants. the burger was warm and the chips weren't as good as they used to be. staff were nice tho.

We ordered our food at 7.40pm, was due to arrive at 8.35pm. 9pm still wasn't here so my husband phoned the restaurant and was told it was next to be delivered. Half hour later (9.30pm) still wasn't here so phoned restraunt again, to be told the delivery driver had left. 9.45pm our food arrived, 2 hours after we had ordered it and an hour late. It arrived and it was piping hot which was good. We ordered 2 pizzas and they were absolutely delicious. Don't get me wrong, they weren't worth the 2hr wait but they were lovely

Wasn't too pleased when I ordered at 7:35 and was told delivery wasn't until 9:05. However it turned up early which was good and the food was good, well packaged and hot.

I really enjoyed my meal, this was the second time ordering and still of the same opinion that the chips could be better, I had sauce on my chips this time which made them taste better but I just think they were over cooked a little. Still delicious and I’m happy to order from them again

Have been using this chip shop for years as it has been very good but do not know whether ownership/manager has changed but had an absolutely awful fish supper tonight- really dried out as though it had been sitting there all day and the last time we used it the food tasted of old oil (thought this was a one off so that's why we used them again but do not think I will be back. Truly awful food. Wasted £13.40 for two fish supper which were practically inedible.

I ordered two hotdogs and a prawn cocktail. the hotdogs were just as expected however the prawn cocktail was something that I had never had served the way it was from here. in addition to your normal ingredients of prawns, Marie Rose sauce, lettuce and tomatoes, there was herbs and a selection of peppers. it was a very interesting twist and very yummy.

21:40 was my delivery time its 22:50 and I've still not revived it absolute joke

Was very unexpected I reseaves a call saying the don't delive in my area but as meal was accepted they made it anyways I was very glad they did as all my food was cooked to perfection and I recommend to anyone in the area to order from this restaurant I will certainly be chancing my luck in ordering again I am a long time just eat customer and they will have my business if accepted again

Been to this take away plenty of times as it’s right across from my parents house. Food is normally good but it normally takes a long time to come and if you go in to the shop, they all just look uninterested.

The pizza base was very thick and quite doughey; to be honest, neither of us particularly enjoyed it. The toppings were plentiful but did lack cheese (maybe only seemed so because of the base). The batter on the chicken pakora was think and clumpy in some places but they were big pieces and worth the money.

Food came earlier as expected but never seen or tasted food so terrible in all my life, the kebab tasted like it had just been cooked in a bucket of grease was dripping with it, the pizza looked like it had an uncooked pig on the top of it never seen anything like it in my life and the taste was shear disgusting and the chips how can they go wrong but they were also absolutely abysmal. I don’t know how this chip shop is still open it is the most disgusting takeaway I have ever eaten if you read this before you order please read the reviews on google which I wish I had done first there a a good few comments that I can guarantee you will want to go else where. Please don’t waste your money

Avoid. Yet another lukewarm delivery, with item. Took over 70 mins to deliver the correct their mistake. Will not be using you again. And, you being busy is not my problem.

Food ordered and told it would arrive at 2040 hrs (40 min wait) then changed to 2050 hrs, phoned at 2050 hrs and told very abruptly that it was ready and they were waiting on the driver, told we would get it within 5 mins, 2115 hrs driver eventually arrived 25 mins later, food cold. Phoned to complain and got complete attitude on the phone and told “what do you want me to do we have been very busy” offered new food but declined due to the time it took the first time round. Terrible service, terrible attitude of servers. Very disappointed

Ordered at 19:30, food arrived stone cold at 21:15. Contacted to request a refund and had a rather sarcastic member of staff laugh at me and tell me I had to wait in for the delivery driver to pick up the cold food or no refund. Called them at 23:00 after no delivery driver turned up, told me to just throw it out. Shameful service.

The food was just a little late, which was no a problem until we opened it up and it was cold. Some of the food looked like it had not even been cooked properly. I was annoyed because i use this chippy a lot and have never had food like this before. We were also missing items which we had ordered. I tried phoning to complain but couldn't get through so must have been a busy night, so unfortunately we had to eat what we could and bin the rest. I definitely will be taking my custom elsewhere from now on.

Takes far too long waiting on your food that by the time you finally get it your not even hungry anymore. The service is shocking and the staff could at least smile once in a while.

The quality of the burger I ordered was surprisingly good. I also ordered a gateaux for dessert and unlike many other places where they freeze the desserts and deliver them to you still frozen, that was not the case here. Overall very good. Keep it up!

Delivery time was pushed back by the take-away and even then it was over 30 minutes late compared to the delayed time...closer to 50 minutes late compared to the original. When it arrived the food was freezing! Called up to be told I'd need to wait another hour-and-a-half for a replacement. Refund was requested and was granted upon return of the cold food! Use this place a lot and was really, REALLY disappointed by the take-away's approach to resolving my issue...I understood they were busy but as I'd already waited a - approaching unreasonably - long time, they could have offered to ensure my food was the first delivery when the driver next went out. The food is excellent...when it's hot and fresh! But think they need to invest in better ways to keep the meals hot and fresh tasting during delivery. Suggest a collection where possible because they really are excellent...usually!

The 3 for restaurant service was because I had ordered a portion of fritters but what arrived was 3 fritters and some chips. Obviously they had run out of fritters but there was no phone call or anything to check if it was ok to send chips instead. Poor show on normally excellent service.
