Vittorias in Edinburgh, City of

There were 11 adults and 3 kids. We were immediately made welcome and our needs were met (highchairs). We had preordered food so didn't have to wait long. The set menu was lovely, we all enjoyed our food, Including the kids. The restaurant was at capacity and the staff were kept very busy but still managed to be attentive and frequently asked us if all was ok. We were there a few hours and never felt we were being rushed along. Special thanks to Luca who was helpful with our large booking and kept us up to date along the way. Our evening was just as we had planned. Big thanks to all the staff for their hard work. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Visited this restaurant Saturday afternoon, group of 4. Been there several times before. Service was efficient and friendly and generally food was fine. However one of our party had the meatballs starter which they described as hard as rocks and virtually inedible. One thing we noticed was that they didn't offer black pepper for our pizzas or cheese for pasta, which is usually a given in any Italian restaurant. Standards dropping? Cost cutting? So not overwhelming and wouldn't rush back.

Absolutley delicious meal at the restaurant, service was attentive yet not overbearing. The mushroom ravioli is a must try if you do visit here. Only downside was that the meatballs portion was incredibly small for a starter we only got two meatballs and as we were sharing the starter, it didn’t really hit the spot we were expecting it to.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, hervorragendes Essen und sehr frisch zubereitet. Preis Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall. Würden sofort wieder kommen!

The service and food was phenomenal. Our family and friends enjoyed a wonderful dinner accompanied by quality service from the Vittoria team. The Turkish gentleman, who served us, made us feel at home. The food was out of this world, too! My dad and I got the split plate (half pizza and half pasta) and we got blown away by the quality!

I cannot express how fantastic this place was! Booked for an office Christmas party, we were completely looked after from start to finish, from Luca in the office helping with last minute changes to the team on the floor, everyone couldn't do enough to look after us. The menu was extensive and everything delivered was delicious, my team have been raving about it since. Thank you so much, I'm sure we will all be back!

Picked this restaurant mostly based on location, as it was close to our hotel on Leith Walk. I was pleasantly surprised that having made a reservation fairly late on a Saturday night, we still managed to get a 7:00 pm time and were given a large booth instead of table for seating. The arancini appetizer was a bit small for the price. For the main course, we chose to share the half pizza (tricolore) and half pasta (carbonara). The entree size was plenty of food and was quite good. The service was efficient, not overly friendly, but we never had to wait for anything either. All in all, we were glad we chose this place for our last evening in Edinburgh.

We had the most delicious meal here we shared pizza and the carbonara. Lovely welcoming staff and lovely decor.

We chose this place as it was very near to our hotel and we were not disappointed. Friendly service, quite a big , varied menu and fair prices. We had pizza and seafood ravioli. They encourage people to share pizza/pasta dishes by plating up half a pizza with half portion of pasta. Every town should have one of these family run Italians.

Fördrinkar och mat kom i princip samtidigt men utan vinet/läsk. Smaken på huvudrätten var godkänt men inget mer - rätterna bestod av lasagne, tortelini och pizza. Glassen i olika varianter var däremot mycket bra. Miljön var ok. Services varierande mellan ”bossen” och en servitör där bossen levererade medans servitören antingen var trött eller sjuk. Summan blir således ”ok” men inte mer.

Great food and the service was (almost) perfect at a very busy time. One slight delay which led to apologies and a reduction to the bill without us even asking. That's how to treat customers and we will be back. We'll done.

Went here on a works night out. Great Italian off Leith Walk and best of all it does the fantastic ‘half and half’ for 2 people - half pizza/half pasta. Great atmosphere. Defo go back

Visited on a weekend with my wife when the sun was shinning so sat outside and had a drink. Really nice setting catching the late afternoon sun. Then went inside to eat. A bit disappointed with the starter. Had calamari which was a good portion but that was it. No presentation, no and not bread. Would have expected a little more. Pasta for main and this was good. Piping hot and filed me up. Service was good so only let down by those couple of points.

A late night dinner for two was delicious after a strenuous day of site seeing. We were quickly seated and given menus and water. The roasted chicken with mushrooms and salmon with pesto were delicious. Also the mushroom/gorgonzola bruschetta, zucchini frites, and strawberry sorbet were quite yummy. We ordered a tiramisu to go and feel certain it will be delicious.
