Awesome pizza base and what’s on top was great too, as was the rest of the food and the house wine. Very friendly and attentive staff, and a lovely place to spend time. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my experience a lot. I found the place had a good atmosphere and service was fine. I did find it funny that an Italian should serve a Hawaiian pizza since to most Italian restaurants such a thing is normally persona non grata. I would go back.

We had a lunch here on Saturday 3rd May. Service was very good , the food was also very good but they don't do a "lunch" menu so it's evening meal prices but the meal we had was very tasty and fresh. I had a pizza dish which I changed my mind at the last minute but it was very tasty , my wife had the salmon dish which was very good but not a huge portion. Drinks and wine were reasonably priced for Edinburgh

Honestly, my seafood platter was inedible: bits of left over calamari etc in batter. It was disgusting. My friend’s pizza was flavourless. My other friend had a traditional salmon / potato and veg dish which she described as ‘OK’ . Wine choices were poor and overpriced. Staff were friendly and helpful, they moved us seats . Also took the seafood platter off the bill and were apologetic. There are so many good Italian restaurants in Edinburgh, this is one to AVOID.

I’ve lived in Edinburgh for 6+ years but never dined here. Must say that is a big mistake from my part, but happy to finally have visited. Incredible food. Will be back! And a special thanks to Kaz for our phenomenal service!

AUTHENTIC FAMILY RESTAURANT Came here last Saturday with family and once again have only praise for Vittorias. First class as usual, delicious food, piping hot and of the best quality served with a smile from Kaz. My husband and I both had Tagliatelle Vittoria, which was superb, mine the GF version made with penne pasta. My Cousin and wife had the Roasted Chicken Breast in a creamy mushroom sauce and they too greatly enjoyed their meal. Starters were also enjoyed, my only complaint if I had one I wish they would do a GF bruschetta. We loved the Pinot Grigio, with lovely tasty notes. Service was quick, ambience in the restaurant was great as always. I highly recommend! Thank you, to everyone at Vittoria you never disappoint.

It was very good even though the wi-fi or internet connection seemed to not be available.

De bediening was zeer vriendelijk.We hadden vooraf de caprese met heerlijke mozzarella en de bruscetta pomodoro. De spagetti met zeevruchten,de pizza vesuvio en de pinot griggio was top! Heel mooi en stijvol ingericht

Me and my brother visited tonight and had a lovely meal. We did the Half and Half which is a pizza and pasta to share. Delicious! We were served by Kat and she was great. Very attentive but not overbearing. She was very friendly and helpful. Look forward to coming back!

Our second meal in a week at this wonderful restaurant. It’s probably been over 15 years since we last dined here and, for no reason, other than we just didn’t visit. What a wonderful experience we have been missing out on. Amazing food, great service (thanks alas) and wonderful atmosphere.

We visited the Leith Walk restaurant and, as always it was a fantastic experience. We had a family lunch and our server Elide couldn't have been more helpful, she was wonderful! The food was delicious, and everyone in our party enjoyed their choices. The wine was excellent, as were the cocktails! Overall this was a visit to remember and we highly recommend it.

What a great place, nice vibe an atmosphere. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman who fitted us in last minute. We were served by Elide who was very polite and a credit to the restaurant. Amazing high quality food and no more expensive than Pizza Express. Can't wait until next time but will be a few years as I live in North Wales! 😭😭

I was there last night with a friend. I ordered ravioli gorgonzola and pear, which was delicious but halfway through it my stomach started turning. I am not allergic to anything that was listed as an allergen in the dish. By the time I was done (did not finish it) my stomach pain intensified to such an extent that I got sick and threw up twice in the restaurant. The dish was dairy heavy, so my guess is something that was used - cream or milk - was past its expiry. If not this, it may have been something else but it was clearly the food. Two members of the staff were aware of what was going on and not one of them offered an apology or asked if I wanted something else that would make me feel better. Any other restaurant would have taken this dish off the bill but this one didn't even offer a discount, even though they could literally see I was sick. I would have given five stars for service because staff were very good until then, but this lack of concern put me off completely. This is hospitality 101 and they miserably failed at that.

Estuve allí anoche con un amigo. Pedí gorgonzola de ravioli y pera, que estaba delicioso, pero a mitad de camino mi estómago comenzó a girar. No soy alérgico a nada que haya sido catalogado como alérgeno en el plato. Cuando terminé (no lo terminé) mi dolor de estómago se intensificó hasta el punto de enfermarme y vomitar dos veces en el restaurante. El plato era lácteo pesado, así que supongo que es algo que se usó - crema o leche - estaba pasado su vencimiento. Si no es esto, puede haber sido otra cosa, pero claramente era la comida. Dos miembros del personal eran conscientes de lo que estaba pasando y ninguno de ellos ofreció una disculpa o me preguntó si quería algo más que me hiciera sentir mejor. Cualquier otro restaurante habría sacado este plato de la factura, pero este ni siquiera ofrecía un descuento, a pesar de que literalmente podían ver que estaba enfermo. Hubiera dado cinco estrellas por el servicio porque el personal era muy bueno hasta entonces, pero esta falta de preocupación me desanimó por completo. Esto es hospitalidad 101 y miserablemente fracasaron en eso.

We had a table of 4 on Saturday evening and we were all very impressed with the quality of the food. We had pollo Milanese, calamari, gorgonzola pasta with pears - the food was delicious and our waiter Leo was excellent - his service was flawless and we will definitely be back soon.

Vittoria on the walk restaurant was there yesterday fantastic place for food and service was brilliant would highly recommend.

We had a pre-theatre dinner for 3 including starters, mains and desserts and all of the food was delicious (I’d especially recommend the lasagna di mamma). We were very well looked after by our server Leo and by the rest of the staff and the dining room itself had a very nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice meal within walking distance of the playhouse

Came upon Vittoria by chance - had not been for many years but we really enjoyed the meal. Leo was a good host - full of life and clearly proud of the restaurant.

Como mencioné este restaurante favorablemente en una reseña de otro en Edimburgo, sentí que era mejor revisarlo también. Teníamos tagliatelle Vittoria y raviolini con pera, nuez y Gorgonzola. Mi pareja había tenido primero esto último en Turín y lo había hecho en casa en numerosas ocasiones... este también fue excelente. Así era el mío... un plato bastante carnoso. El servidor era servicial, cálido y amable y se preocupó de que disfrutamos de la comida. Sin pretensiones, amables y genuinas son las palabras que me vienen a la mente con respecto a este restaurante.

Pizza buona, ho preso una gorgonzola e pancetta e c’erano anche le pere. Io so che le pere sono parte della ricetta ma queste non si amalgamavano bene con la pizza, potevano anche non esserci. Birra buona! Personale molto accogliente. Comunque soddisfatto.

Visiting Edinburgh over the festive season for my partners birthday. Googled for restaurant recommendations and this one came top. Outstanding service from start to finish and amazing food. Great menu choice also. I had the pasta demme chef and was a really good choice. Also let them know on booking we were celebrating a birthday and the team brought us out a cupcake with a candle and sang happy birthday. An excellent touch! Top marks would recommend to anyone.

The Pear Raviolini was the most interesting mix of flavours I've had in years. Never would have thought cheese, pear and walnuts could go together, great food.

Visited this amazing restaurant 4 times the food is outstanding and customer service is second to none Elide also served me with limoncello after the meal which brought me back a lot of happy memories of sorrento Italy I was shocked when it was presented to me but very happy thank you so much elide for your service and amazing gesture
