We were looking for a last minute dinner reservation and we are so glad Vittoria had an opening. Food is SO GOOD. Vibe is great. Restaurant is kid friendly and clean. And service is excellent. Thank you, Elide! Five stars!

What a great place, nice vibe an atmosphere. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman who fitted us in last minute. We were served by Elide who was very polite and a credit to the restaurant. Amazing high quality food and no more expensive than Pizza Express. Can't wait until next time but will be a few years as I live in North Wales! 😭😭

I was there last night with a friend. I ordered ravioli gorgonzola and pear, which was delicious but halfway through it my stomach started turning. I am not allergic to anything that was listed as an allergen in the dish. By the time I was done (did not finish it) my stomach pain intensified to such an extent that I got sick and threw up twice in the restaurant. The dish was dairy heavy, so my guess is something that was used - cream or milk - was past its expiry. If not this, it may have been something else but it was clearly the food. Two members of the staff were aware of what was going on and not one of them offered an apology or asked if I wanted something else that would make me feel better. Any other restaurant would have taken this dish off the bill but this one didn't even offer a discount, even though they could literally see I was sick. I would have given five stars for service because staff were very good until then, but this lack of concern put me off completely. This is hospitality 101 and they miserably failed at that.

Estuve allí anoche con un amigo. Pedí gorgonzola de ravioli y pera, que estaba delicioso, pero a mitad de camino mi estómago comenzó a girar. No soy alérgico a nada que haya sido catalogado como alérgeno en el plato. Cuando terminé (no lo terminé) mi dolor de estómago se intensificó hasta el punto de enfermarme y vomitar dos veces en el restaurante. El plato era lácteo pesado, así que supongo que es algo que se usó - crema o leche - estaba pasado su vencimiento. Si no es esto, puede haber sido otra cosa, pero claramente era la comida. Dos miembros del personal eran conscientes de lo que estaba pasando y ninguno de ellos ofreció una disculpa o me preguntó si quería algo más que me hiciera sentir mejor. Cualquier otro restaurante habría sacado este plato de la factura, pero este ni siquiera ofrecía un descuento, a pesar de que literalmente podían ver que estaba enfermo. Hubiera dado cinco estrellas por el servicio porque el personal era muy bueno hasta entonces, pero esta falta de preocupación me desanimó por completo. Esto es hospitalidad 101 y miserablemente fracasaron en eso.

Vittoria on the walk restaurant was there yesterday fantastic place for food and service was brilliant would highly recommend.

We had a table of 4 on Saturday evening and we were all very impressed with the quality of the food. We had pollo Milanese, calamari, gorgonzola pasta with pears - the food was delicious and our waiter Leo was excellent - his service was flawless and we will definitely be back soon.

Excellent meal yet again at Vittorias on the Walk, for all our party for a relaxed family get together. Service also excellent from Tanfer & Elide. Thanks to all. 👍👍

We had a pre-theatre dinner for 3 including starters, mains and desserts and all of the food was delicious (I’d especially recommend the lasagna di mamma). We were very well looked after by our server Leo and by the rest of the staff and the dining room itself had a very nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice meal within walking distance of the playhouse

Came upon Vittoria by chance - had not been for many years but we really enjoyed the meal. Leo was a good host - full of life and clearly proud of the restaurant.

Great food and brilliant atmosphere. Leo, our waiter, was very attentive to our gluten free needs, even creating a gluten free alternative starter for us. Fantastic experience.

Como mencioné este restaurante favorablemente en una reseña de otro en Edimburgo, sentí que era mejor revisarlo también. Teníamos tagliatelle Vittoria y raviolini con pera, nuez y Gorgonzola. Mi pareja había tenido primero esto último en Turín y lo había hecho en casa en numerosas ocasiones... este también fue excelente. Así era el mío... un plato bastante carnoso. El servidor era servicial, cálido y amable y se preocupó de que disfrutamos de la comida. Sin pretensiones, amables y genuinas son las palabras que me vienen a la mente con respecto a este restaurante.

We had a dinner party for 22. The entire staff treated us wonderfully. The food was exceptional, and they went out of their way to provide great service. Highly recommend.

Pizza buona, ho preso una gorgonzola e pancetta e c’erano anche le pere. Io so che le pere sono parte della ricetta ma queste non si amalgamavano bene con la pizza, potevano anche non esserci. Birra buona! Personale molto accogliente. Comunque soddisfatto.

Visiting Edinburgh over the festive season for my partners birthday. Googled for restaurant recommendations and this one came top. Outstanding service from start to finish and amazing food. Great menu choice also. I had the pasta demme chef and was a really good choice. Also let them know on booking we were celebrating a birthday and the team brought us out a cupcake with a candle and sang happy birthday. An excellent touch! Top marks would recommend to anyone.

Food was lovely, atmosphere perfect staff very friendly with us and our little girl. Good value for money highly recommend. Special shout out to Leo who went the extra mile to ensure my mum on her birthday and our little girl had a great evening. Thank you xxxx

The Pear Raviolini was the most interesting mix of flavours I've had in years. Never would have thought cheese, pear and walnuts could go together, great food.

Visited this amazing restaurant 4 times the food is outstanding and customer service is second to none Elide also served me with limoncello after the meal which brought me back a lot of happy memories of sorrento Italy I was shocked when it was presented to me but very happy thank you so much elide for your service and amazing gesture

I’ve been going to Vittoria’s for over 5 years now. It’s my goto with my family for friendly service and wholesome Italian food! The new renovation really adds to the atmosphere.

Was in for lunch on saturday there with my mrs and her family, a suprise walk in of 6 on a busy lunch service, as a Chef i know that can put a spanner in the works but Leo our server made sure we felt welcomed from start to finish, great christmas music on, atmosphere was class, all the staff were so friendly, food came out piping hot, beautifully presented, tasted as good as it looked, looking forward to going back, ive recommended it to my friend back home from East Kilbride i enjoyed it that much.

First time in this restaurant and can’t say I’d go back. Starter was reasonably tasty although presentation was a little lacking. Main course: salmon with crust no actual crust just I pile of what seemed like half cooked breadcrumbs piled on top. Vegetables (untrimmed) and potatoes (packet mash). Not what you would expect. As a trained chef with 25 years in the business I’d put it on at Toby carvery level. Packet mash? UNFORGIVABLE! In a restaurant setting. Did mention to waiter who typically Denise the packet mash allegation despite my evidence on the plate. In fairness he did give a very slight reduction on the bill and an awkward apology whilst still proclaiming about the 25kg bag of tarries.

The food and service were excellent. I was expecting a traditional trattoria but the place had been refurbished so it was very bright, fresh and clean, which was also nice. It felt authentically Italian.

Little bit of Italy in Edinburgh. Food is absolutely authentic and staff only amplify the family friendly Italian atmosphere. Right beside Mcdonald street tram stop this is the best Italiam restauI have visited in Edinburgh so far.

Stylish interior and really great Italian food. The pizza was the best we’ve had so far. Thin and tasty crust, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Definitely recommend!

Ate here today, nicely decorated inside. We had minestrone, fried courgettes, lasagne and pizza. The fried courgettes were really good, the pizza was okay. Service was very good
