I visited this place long back. It seems the owner is changed and looks professional this time. I ordered a Capricciosa Pizza with garlic and cheese dough balls. Best pizza I’ve had in long time. Slow cooked, perfect crust. They also mentioned that they are going to start craft beers soon. Looking forward to it! Keep it up guys. Excellent service.

Where to start, the owner is absolutely lovely and very attentive, nothing was too much for him, when I asked for the pizza to be extra extra spicy he ran out to grab hotter chillies from a local store. The pizza was top tier, this place is quickly going to be become the go to pizza spot in Edinburgh. Overall an extremely pleasant first visit and the first of many! Keep doing what you are doing guys we will see you again!

I have ordered veg supreme and it was soo drooling and fast delivery. The guy who serves is very attendive and friendly. A great applause to the chef i think his name is krishna for making fast and delicious pizzas. I will highly recommend to my friends and family to have a peaceful evening.

I loved the pizza, specially meat fest is a worth every penny. I compared it with Pizza Hut because I am a fan of Pizza Hut But this is a must try and with a friendly and supportive staff for sure.

The new operators of this store were very friendly and service was fast - but the high quality authentic Italian pizza, bread, coffee and cakes that the original Italian founders of this store used to serve are unfortunately long gone. I was so looking forward to it, but my pizza was barely edible for the copious, sickly sweet sauce. Unfortunately, not somewhere I would recommend anymore.

Nice cosy restaurant, walked past it a few times without realising it’s there. Just popped in before my train and ordered meat feast pizza and it was the best thin crust pizza I ever had. I don’t normally like thin crust pizza but this was sooo good.

I ordered 2 pizzas last night. One was a pepperoni pizza and the other one 4 cheeses + Italian sausage as extra ingredient. Apparently, they didn't have Italian sausage, so they decided for me (without asking or anything) to put pepperoni on the second pizza Instead of the Italian sausage. I don't like pepperoni so I had to remove everything and eat just a 4cheese pizza when I paid for an extra topping that never arrived.. I tried to complain to deliveroo and nothing happened.. So unprofessional place.

All the tables in the restaurant have sockets and USB charging points, so if you need to work whilst waiting for a train then this restaurant is a really good choice.

Extremely delicious. It’s so hard to find a thin crust pizza joint that is crispy and packs quality ingredients but this is it! The flavours hit just right and the dough is not mushy. Love this spot!

I don’t normally review restaurants and I’m normally quite relaxed about small slip ups in food and service but today I have to make an exception. I struggled to see anything Roman, or indeed Italian, about this food. It tasted worse than the worst, cheapest supermarket pizza I have ever eaten, and believe me I have consumed some real junk in my time. Maybe they changed pizza chef or ingredients since the great reviews were written. Whatever, I’m certainly not going back.

I was in Edinburgh last may and I eat one of the best pizzas ever ! I recommend this place, with very good people who’s working there and a very good service. You should definitely try the Pepperoni Pizza !

It was ordered at 6.30pm and arrived at 21.34pm. Daughter by then in bed. Wasted food. Meant to arrive before 7pm. Phoned and said Just Eat had not processed the order or sent a driver. Still charged.

Had the highest Google Maps rating in the neighborhood. All they do is pizza, really that's it! And they "know pizza." I boxed the last half of the "supreme meat" (Don't quote me on that) pizza to take for later and left my unopened bottled drink on the table. Rather than letting me leave and restocking the item he called my attention to my oversight. Don't see enough of that these days!

Das Essen war ausreichend gut und es war sehr teuer, 10-20 Pfund für eine Mahlzeit. Das Personal war so la la. Es war nicht so gemütlich und es gab keine Toilette.

Wonder if it’s changed hands….not good. I have been ordering from here for the last 3 years and it’s always been great. Crispy, light, thin crust, fresh toppings and cooked perfectly. Last night got a pizza which was soggy, burnt, swimming in grease and quite frankly inedible. Called up and was offered another - I really just wanted a refund. If went in tbt bin. I messaged the number on their web page today to ask if it changed hands and had no reply. It used to be owned by Laura and Francesco Serreri and the gentleman who is on the Whastapp is not Francesco to my knowledge. Be wary any usual customers. It was truly horrid.

It’s another 5 stars from us! It’s really unassuming from the outside but you won’t believe how good the pizza is for such a reasonable price. The guys that work there are also really really friendly and helpful.

Despite the allure of the captivating images on the website and the enthusiastic reviews I was being left rather disappointed by the culinary experience in this eatery. I can say the dough base was most definitely not up to scratch and not risen appropriately as should be the case. Also the toppings were to my taste rather too bland and unappetising. So I must join the 1-star reviewers in their opinions. A real shame as my expectations had been moderately high before trying this classic Italian meal.

The dinner was fantastic, the food was delicious and we felt very comfortable...the workers of the restaurant were very kind and nice, so i will repeat for sure!!!

A hidden gem of Edinburgh. Fantastic food for a great price. And that would be good enough for me but to top it off the guys that run this place are genuinely some of the nicest people I’ve met! My wife and I chatted with Harry for a while after our meal and he gave us some fantastic recommendations for things to do while we’re in town.

Best pizza and garlic dough balls in all of Edinburgh! The coffee is also very smooth and tasty. Everything was so fresh and fast, great value for money, and the service was amazing. Thanks so much guys, will be back all the time now!

We thought this is a Roman pizza as the name suggests but they make Napoli style pizza instead. We ordered two type of pizza and both were tasted nasty. It was extremely salty due to the preservatives on the meat. Staff who took our order is aware but they just don’t care. We left the place leaving with tons of left over. Not recommended and dont be fooled with good reviews.

Not roman pizza at all. This is more like ordinary circle pizza. Roman pizza is sold by square or rectangular pieces with a variety of fresh flavour options with a crusty dough all throughout. Ok fine even if it’s not roman pizza, but just purely from taste perspective the pizza is quite bad - extremely salty and it seems they use store bought salami, sausage and ham..when we asked the staff why the pizza is so salty, got a response that it’s due to the meats which makes me think it has to be store bought, so the ingredients are not fresh. Anyways, eating at this place means you will end up with hypertension and high bp due to the amount of salt in the pizza. Perhaps rename from roman to salty pizza. Not sure but we chose to eat here due to the google reviews as we were craving for roman style pizza after recently visiting rome and we unfortunately came across this place..and with so many positive google reviews and the name of the restaurant, we were misled us. This place is not just a waste of money but also a waste of appetite and a health risk for sure given the amount of salt they put in the pizza!! I suggest the owner or person making the pizza to atleast try and taste the pizza you are making because it’s super super salty. an average person could end up in hospital due to the amount of salt in your pizza. Atmosphere is also bad as seating is congested. Never returning and wouldn’t recommend either.

Saw the positive reviews and got a delivery. The pizza arrived hot, which was good! However it tasted really not good. I have been in Italy many times and was expecting something a little similar. What I got was more like something out of a fast food outlet. Very disappointed, I hope this was an exception and the other places to eat in Edinburgh are better!

Arrived late into Edinburgh and ordered two pizzas for delivery to our hotel. They were really great. Perfect pizza as the size and base combination was just right. Would definitely order from them again.

I just happened to be by this place when I was looking for pizza. I cannot believe how lucky I was. Nice looking restuarant and very friendly staff. The place was clean. There were few people sitting in the restuarant before we got there, we were greeted with a smile. Pizza menu looked amazing but more amazing was the taste of pizza- it was DELICIOUS! Fair prices and quality food makes this a very easy recommendation. We will be back soon
