The best pizza in the city and one of the best I tried outside of Italy!! Guys are super nice and the food is delicious!! If you want a taste of real Italian pizza “alla romana” this is the place!! I’ll be back for sure!!

Had a takeaway so can’t comment on atmosphere or service but the pizza is 10/10

I recognise I placed an order late and I don’t know if this is a problem endemic with the Deliveroo culture. But to have my food show up late and to be delivered in a sub par state I.e the chewiest pizza I’ve ever had. I could’ve gotten a better meal from a freezer pizza at home. I would rather have my order cancelled if they couldn’t keep up with the work load and save us all the the time. I went through deliveroo firstly before contacting the store only to be hung up on several times and told ‘I live super far away’ when haymarket to pilton on a Sunday evening is literally a 35 minute drive at the extreme worst. When calling the store to lodge a complaint the gent on the other end was extremely unhelpful and simply said ‘my manager isn’t about if you have a complaint’ and I was hung up on for the fourth time. I’m sure the Deliveroo driver was anxious upon arriving at my place and I in no way put this blame upon him. However, I am incandescent at the staff at Roman pizza for the blasé rudeness at my feed back; I just want my money back for the impolite and poor service. Cancel an order if you can’t cope with the demand. Don’t treat your customers in a way I was however,

i’ve been ordering from here for awhile and honestly had no issue til today, i ordered the food at half 7, latest delivery was at 8, i called about four times each time they said it will be five minutes it will be five minutes. Guess what. Didn’t arrive in five minutes. Didn’t arrive in 30 minutes. I was waiting for an hour and 15 mins, the foods freezing honestly really disappointed because they are usually okay with this kinda thing but never on time with the order. food is amazing though and would recommend just definitely not off uber eats

The thin crust pizza is hands down the best I’ve had crispy and tasty. The craft beer selection is awesome too. On top of that, the staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this spot!

What an amazing place to binge on Pizza.. they have an awesome variety and this place makes some really good food. Come with your friends or with family or even witb a date it is good. Its bang in the center of the city and so quite close to the station. They even have beers on tap.

Absolutely fantastic pizza! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the toppings were fresh and generous, and the flavors were amazing. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. To top it off, they have a great selection of beers that pair perfectly with the pizza. Whether you prefer a classic lager or a Mango Lassi beer, there’s something for everyone. Easily one of the best pizza spots in town! Highly recommend!

I visited this place long back. It seems the owner is changed and looks professional this time. I ordered a Capricciosa Pizza with garlic and cheese dough balls. Best pizza I’ve had in long time. Slow cooked, perfect crust. They also mentioned that they are going to start craft beers soon. Looking forward to it! Keep it up guys. Excellent service.

Where to start, the owner is absolutely lovely and very attentive, nothing was too much for him, when I asked for the pizza to be extra extra spicy he ran out to grab hotter chillies from a local store. The pizza was top tier, this place is quickly going to be become the go to pizza spot in Edinburgh. Overall an extremely pleasant first visit and the first of many! Keep doing what you are doing guys we will see you again!

I have ordered veg supreme and it was soo drooling and fast delivery. The guy who serves is very attendive and friendly. A great applause to the chef i think his name is krishna for making fast and delicious pizzas. I will highly recommend to my friends and family to have a peaceful evening.

I loved the pizza, specially meat fest is a worth every penny. I compared it with Pizza Hut because I am a fan of Pizza Hut But this is a must try and with a friendly and supportive staff for sure.

Amazing fresh food, love this place

The new operators of this store were very friendly and service was fast - but the high quality authentic Italian pizza, bread, coffee and cakes that the original Italian founders of this store used to serve are unfortunately long gone. I was so looking forward to it, but my pizza was barely edible for the copious, sickly sweet sauce. Unfortunately, not somewhere I would recommend anymore.

Nice cosy restaurant, walked past it a few times without realising it’s there. Just popped in before my train and ordered meat feast pizza and it was the best thin crust pizza I ever had. I don’t normally like thin crust pizza but this was sooo good.

I ordered 2 pizzas last night. One was a pepperoni pizza and the other one 4 cheeses + Italian sausage as extra ingredient. Apparently, they didn't have Italian sausage, so they decided for me (without asking or anything) to put pepperoni on the second pizza Instead of the Italian sausage. I don't like pepperoni so I had to remove everything and eat just a 4cheese pizza when I paid for an extra topping that never arrived.. I tried to complain to deliveroo and nothing happened.. So unprofessional place.

All the tables in the restaurant have sockets and USB charging points, so if you need to work whilst waiting for a train then this restaurant is a really good choice.

Extremely delicious. It’s so hard to find a thin crust pizza joint that is crispy and packs quality ingredients but this is it! The flavours hit just right and the dough is not mushy. Love this spot!

I don’t normally review restaurants and I’m normally quite relaxed about small slip ups in food and service but today I have to make an exception. I struggled to see anything Roman, or indeed Italian, about this food. It tasted worse than the worst, cheapest supermarket pizza I have ever eaten, and believe me I have consumed some real junk in my time. Maybe they changed pizza chef or ingredients since the great reviews were written. Whatever, I’m certainly not going back.

Hands down my favourite place for pizza, the food is great and so delicious, I just wish there was slightly more variety when it came to sides and desserts, but other than that 10/10 place for food! :)

I was in Edinburgh last may and I eat one of the best pizzas ever ! I recommend this place, with very good people who’s working there and a very good service. You should definitely try the Pepperoni Pizza !

It was ordered at 6.30pm and arrived at 21.34pm. Daughter by then in bed. Wasted food. Meant to arrive before 7pm. Phoned and said Just Eat had not processed the order or sent a driver. Still charged.

Had the highest Google Maps rating in the neighborhood. All they do is pizza, really that's it! And they "know pizza." I boxed the last half of the "supreme meat" (Don't quote me on that) pizza to take for later and left my unopened bottled drink on the table. Rather than letting me leave and restocking the item he called my attention to my oversight. Don't see enough of that these days!

Die Pizzen sehen nicht so aus wie auf den Fotos und haben auch nicht geschmeckt. Das Personal war zwar freundlich aber nicht besonders hilfreich.

Das Essen war ausreichend gut und es war sehr teuer, 10-20 Pfund für eine Mahlzeit. Das Personal war so la la. Es war nicht so gemütlich und es gab keine Toilette.

Wonder if it’s changed hands….not good. I have been ordering from here for the last 3 years and it’s always been great. Crispy, light, thin crust, fresh toppings and cooked perfectly. Last night got a pizza which was soggy, burnt, swimming in grease and quite frankly inedible. Called up and was offered another - I really just wanted a refund. If went in tbt bin. I messaged the number on their web page today to ask if it changed hands and had no reply. It used to be owned by Laura and Francesco Serreri and the gentleman who is on the Whastapp is not Francesco to my knowledge. Be wary any usual customers. It was truly horrid.

It’s another 5 stars from us! It’s really unassuming from the outside but you won’t believe how good the pizza is for such a reasonable price. The guys that work there are also really really friendly and helpful.

Despite the allure of the captivating images on the website and the enthusiastic reviews I was being left rather disappointed by the culinary experience in this eatery. I can say the dough base was most definitely not up to scratch and not risen appropriately as should be the case. Also the toppings were to my taste rather too bland and unappetising. So I must join the 1-star reviewers in their opinions. A real shame as my expectations had been moderately high before trying this classic Italian meal.

The dinner was fantastic, the food was delicious and we felt very comfortable...the workers of the restaurant were very kind and nice, so i will repeat for sure!!!

A hidden gem of Edinburgh. Fantastic food for a great price. And that would be good enough for me but to top it off the guys that run this place are genuinely some of the nicest people I’ve met! My wife and I chatted with Harry for a while after our meal and he gave us some fantastic recommendations for things to do while we’re in town.

Best pizza and garlic dough balls in all of Edinburgh! The coffee is also very smooth and tasty. Everything was so fresh and fast, great value for money, and the service was amazing. Thanks so much guys, will be back all the time now!
