Cheap and cheerful place close to office where we can grab a very reasonably priced meal and drink. Ita a bit hidden and don’t realise it’s there until you are taken by someone, but maybe it’s better if these gems stay a little hidden!

Colazione buona, lo consiglio. Quando c’è il ragazzo le brioches sono tiepide e apre sempre in orario perfetto, quando c’è la ragazza le brioches sono ustionanti a volte bruciate e l’apertura spesso in ritardo. Il cappuccio ha una cremina soffice, le brioches molto buone e sfogliate, mi piace Ci tornerò molto volentieri, comodo anche il parcheggio accanto.

Apareció para almorzar después de reunirse con un par de compañías relacionadas con la música. Parecía tener un especial diario, que es barato y abundante, este día en particular, aunque opté por su selección de sándwiches que no me decepcionó a mí y a 2 invitados. Todo muy fresco y sabroso, servido con una sonrisa, definitivamente un lugar para pasar e incluso un agradable área exterior para esos días extraños cuando brilla el sol.

Servicio penosamente lento. Asegúrate de tener tiempo cuando vayas allí, ya que el personal prefiere charlar y molestarse en lugar de servirte. Están completamente desinteresados y tienen un problema de actitud. El café generalmente demora de 2 a 3 minutos en otros lugares, aquí puede esperar AL MENOS 10 minutos. Y no es muy buen café. Esto me ha pasado al menos 3 veces. Además, eche un vistazo dentro de la taza, ya que me han servido un café con leche con leche congelada en el interior. Estaba lleno de bultos y no era agradable, así que fui directo a la basura. Si ni siquiera puede tomar una taza de café correctamente, entonces hay muy pocas esperanzas para todo lo demás. Las ensaladas no tienen sabor, por lo que se ahogan con salsa / aderezo. ¡Buena suerte con tu dieta! También es costoso, pero saben que tienen el monopolio en el área ya que no hay otros lugares de comida alrededor.

The staff are all so friendly and helpful, and the food is absolutely incredible! A bit pricey but so worth the money! I had a toasted chicken wrap and got to add some side salad bits and it was honestly one of the best things I’ve eaten in a while! Definitely recommend, the atmosphere is cosy but modern and there’s free infused water to help yourself to aswell. It’s a bit out of the way and hard to find but I will definitely be visiting again when I next go to London!

I eat here a couple times every week or two; the food is good but a bit too pricey to have every day for lunch. great for a coffee, snack and quick meeting. Staff are terrific

Non sono rimasta molto soddisfatta. Mi aspettavo di meglio. Ambiente discreto come discreto è tutto il personale. I prezzi sono abbastanza alti.

I eat lunch here regularly. I love the artisan bread in the toasted sandwiches - well worth the bit extra. The menu changes daily and the food is often cooked to order. Great vibe too as lots of clients, guests of Tileyard and friends come together. The staff are great. Well done to Chris and Tommy who've only recently taken over.

This is my local lunchtime eatery. Good but overpriced.. the salad selection is the same every day which gets boring. The Team are helpful and friendly.

Stumbled in here on the recommendation of a street vendor outside who offered "they do great breakfasts". This place is obviously the manifestation of the owner whose hand has touched everything from the furnishing, menu and even the coffee. He obviously had a new starter that day so was a bit flapped as she failed to serve, input till orders or make coffee but he valiantly soldiered on managing, to do it all including the cooking and then schmooz like a pro. You can tell when someone can really cook. It's the little things like the perfect poached egg, heavenly hollandaise or the twisted rum soaked bacon. The menu reflects the chefs/owners former days cheffing at much posher places and in a sea of average cafes serving trad English fry ups I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised. The coffee was good but this place is about the food and quirky decor. Do visit! I will be back to try the homemade cakes.

We recently had a work assignment in this location. Given this is not exactly close to a tube station (kings cross is 15 mins walk), it was a great discovery to find this cafe. We had coffees here as well as lunch on one of the days. I had a chicken and greens dish. It was lovely but for lunch I thought the portion size was slightly too big. I also tried one of the smoothies (Bananarama - Coconut milk, Banana & Pine-apple - £4) - this for me was overpriced & flavours were lacking. Would perhaps try one of the other options as this certainly didn't hit the spot.

Great value for money, great atmosphere, I would recommend a visit if you find yourself in the area.

The place is always busy, so they should improve the quality of food! the level of hygiene is low and many times they touch food and money

Spent a few days here last month after being holed up in studio!! Its big and airy. Great welcome from the friendly and accomodating staff. Great bunch! I can recommend to anyone recording at Tileyard to frequent this place. Great atmosphere.
