Amazing quirky and quaint tearoom with so much to see, the cream tea was the best, very delicious 😋. Me and mum enjoyed our visit, we brought a plant and are looking forward to coming back 💖✨️

My friend and I called in for coffee/tea and we both had a toasted tea cake. The tea cake was fine with plenty of butter. However, the cafetière of coffee was weak with little coffee flavour. The pot of decaf tea had a very strange taste and was a grey colour. We both paid £7 and felt this was rather steep for something very average and wished we had said something at the time. We shall not return.

Visited today with my daughter. The best Victoria Sandwich cake we have ever had. Massive slice! Very light and fluffy. No weak pot of tea here and plenty of it. It was just delightful in every way with friendly staff. We will be back. It was just perfect.

We often have breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Usually creamy scrambled egg with salmon and a cafetaire for two! Always great service and staff. Lovely atmosphere and toe tapping music gives the tearoom a fab authentic feel. There’s a lot to look at, as there are many traders that offer an eclectic range of antique, vintage , retro and contemporary items to buy. Fab place! Check it out!

My wife and I normally try to call in when we are in Cornwall. It is a great place for lunch or a snack. The display of beautiful cakes is agony for me as a diabetic, but one day I will 'treat' myself. We called in for lunch, my wife had a toasted tea cake and I had a salmon and cream cheese sandwich, as usual the food was excellent as was the service and the company. After you have eaten take a look at the wonderful antiques all around you.

The warmest of welcomes from the very moment we arrived. A wonderful afternoon followed, with a delicious tea for 10 members of my family....celebrating my Mums birthday. Fresh, tasty , clearly homemade....quiches, sandwiches, sausage rolls and beautiful cakes. The staff went above and beyond for us all and we felt very special. Complimentary tipples of fizz in vintage glasses meant we could sing happy birthday and toast my Mum in style. Thankyou all so much. We shall return often and highly recommend.

Stumbled across this little gem of a tea room, when looking for a cafe in the area. Fantastic, vintage feel, with tea and coffee served in a variety of beautiful, china teapots and cups. The staff were welcoming to us and our dog (water bowl provided and offcuts from the kitchen for the well-behaved pooch). Menu was inclusive for all dietary requirements. We only had cakes but they were homemade and incredible, in both portion size and quality. The vintage shop attached is an added bonus. All-in-all, well worth a trip. We will return!

The place is really cool. Free parking, child and dog friendly. They have lovely items all set out to see and for sale. Service was also superb. Very friendly, smiley, table service, nothing was too much trouble. You can also choose your cakes and they all look delicious and homemade. Tables are set up with beautiful retro crockery and they play vintage music. However, I was a bit surprised to see they don’t serve proper coffee, only instant. We had 2 instant coffees and shared a piece of cake. But I was really taken aback when I paid the bill… 10.75 for 2 instant coffee and 1 piece of cake! I won’t be returning until they serve proper coffee.

My husband and I love a bit of vintage so thought we’d treat the family to a spot of lunch whilst visiting. To be fair it’s not the best location a bit like a mini industrial estate but once inside you forget where it’s located and get absorbed in the atmosphere and ambience. We were seated at our table and served by the two most loveliest of waitresses they were so polite and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and didn’t disappoint, the afternoon tea was good value and a great portion, none of us left hungry. Whilst there we had a good browse amongst all the vintage goodies which went on forever, in fact I didn’t realise the time and was still looking around as they were closing, not that they made me feel rushed. We bought a couple of items which are unique souvenirs which will remind us of our lovely trip to Cornwall. We would highly recommend and would love to return in the future. P.s I hope the waitress had an amazing prom!

My friend and I called here for a light afternoon tea and were immediately made welcome. From the tasty selection of cakes and sweet dishes in the display cabinet, we chose blueberry cheesecake, which was delicious. The tea was served in a large teapot, from which we were able to fill our china teacups three times. We enjoyed the atmosphere that was provided by vintage background music, which was familiar to us, and the surroundings that consisted of display cabinets containing a wide variety of vintage items for sale.

Second visit here. Food was very tasty. The Homity pie is delicious. Lovely china with a big pot of tea. So many interesting things to look at and buy. Our only complaint was the room we were in was a bit cold, whereas the main dining area was really warm, but it was full. Very friendly service.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.
