Best kebab I’ve ever eaten. Staff are friendly and helpful. 24hrs later and I’m still thinking how good it was.

Had a delivery order, very quick to deliver food was still hot on arrival, very tasty Lamb shish and chicken shish combination 👍🏻

Just bought a medium Donna, was the driest meat I’ve ever tasted, served from the pot as usual instead of being carved, terrible meat 👎

Harlow has limited good quality take aways when compared to what London offers in terms of flavour. I have been ordering from here for a few years - atleast once a month if not more. The quality of food remains consistently good, have tired other places in Harlow and none of them can compete with Village BBQ. This is the place to order from from Harlow if you like good quality food. 👌

Wear hairnets next time, the hair in my salad wasn’t pleasant, and the kebab was too dry.

Disgusting service ! food used to be nice now its a joke , staff are a joke and like to argue with customers, they lie to customers and say items are there when there missing .. and even tried taking my money and not sending the order OUT when ordering thru there website its only becuase i rang i knew it wassnt coming ... they didnt want to let me know they stole from me clearly . and to get the money back i had to go and argue with the manger in the shop . SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN !

First time ordering from them and I have to say the food is amazing. Not only a huge portion - their small chips would be considered large somewhere else - of everything but it tastes good too. I had chicken doner - enormous portion, couldn't even finish half but I ordered large because other places give such a tiny portion even for a large, I did not expect this 😅 - the salad option is great. They don't just give you whatever, you can choose what type of veg you want in your salad 👍🏻 Everything was fresh and the food arrived on time. Will be looking forward to order from them again.

Usually great food but tonight the chicken doner was so salty 😩

Got a meat and chips from this place, it was one of the worst iv ever had, meat was under cooked and the chips was old chips fried again which was rock hard, absolutely disgusting

If I cloud not give a star I wouldn’t because the food quality tonight is shocking specially asked for something. If you cannot cater for peoples needs and wants then don’t bother taking money off of someone under cooked meat stale bread and manky salad just a shambles happened more times lately must be different cook and management ( NO QUALITY CONTROL )

Just had our food. 1st time ordering from here. Never again, such a let down. After now reading the reviews, cannot believe why they have such good reviews. Ordered online, after choosing the options we wanted for salad and sauces, we never got any, especially also when the delivery leaflet that came through our door says that all kebabs come with salad (false advertising). 20 mins for delivery was good, but the food arrived cold. Totally disappointed.

Just had a delivery. Have used them numerous times and have a few mishaps when placing large orders. This was 2 kebabs and was totally disappointed. Pitta bread was rock hard and doner meat was tasteless

With plenty of kebab houses in Harlow to choose from Village BBQ certainly comes up trumps. Decent portion's, hot and tasty with no nasty bits. Quick and friendly delivery and good value also. They also have their own app as well which I've downloaded! Well done Village BBQ.

We had a lovely donner from here, very tasty and good price. They keep their kitchen and surfaces very clean you can see it over the counter. We will come back again!

i have been getting my kebabs here for a long time and found the old owner to be really nice however its been taken over by very rude staff who try there hardest to argue with you blaming it on the owner new rules, if you tell them what salad you want they start talking louder pretending they cant here you giving you what you don't want. The quality of the food is very poor and always cold, they even tried to overcharge me. THEY WILL NOT GET MY CUSTOM ANYMORE. With loads of Kebab takeaways in Harlow i advise you go elsewhere or get ready for rubbish food and rude staff .

Waited on hour when arrived it was cold so refused delivery the driver was very rude we reordered and was told 30 minutes 45 minutes later we phoned to be told very rudely they forgot!!! We always give 5 pound tip but this occasion they were rude and couldn't be bothered. Will never order from here again!!!

Bread and salad is the name because bread and salad is all you get from this company! Paid £12 for some bread and salad and tiny little pieces of chicken! Absolute disappointment would not recommend this to anyone!! Called to complain but of course no mangers available as all on holiday haha typical!! Good luck with your order

I’ll never order from here again, I think the better reviews must be fake. As many people have already mentioned they’re as rude as can be and on top of that the food is average at best (chips are like cardboard) it takes ages to arrive and then the food is cold. The delivery driver even explained his frustrations at the staff, that they're rude and lazy and have him delivering cold food. Anyway last month they messed an order up and when I called up they pretty much refused to do anything about it. I explained I’ll be dropping the food back and collecting a refund as this isn’t what I’d paid for. The bloke then said he’d issue me with a discount the next time I ordered - he took my address and said not to worry. As I was owed a discount I thought I’d order there last night as I had guests over. At first they offered me a free bottle of drink which was an abolsute insult and ended up taking a few quid off my order. 1 hour later the food arrives freezing cold and missing a large portion of chips that my friends partner had ordered, so of course I called up to just receive a barrel of abuse from the bloke. He was screaming so loud that everyone else could hear him and it was truly embarrassing. I’ll never ever touch this place again and if you look at many reviews on Facebook and google I’m not the first to experience this kind of attitude and service. Don’t line the pockets of scumbags! On the other hand I received a pleasant service from Harlow kebab when I first moved to the area so I’ll use those guys again!!

States they are open till 1am called to order at 12 and they say they are shut ... Questioned them about the site saying 1am and they was really rude and said no 12... Therefore cant comment on food or delivery ! Change your site

The only place I've seen in town that serve Turkish bread as an option with your kebab instead of pitta! Good portions and decent prices. Takeaway/delivery only, and though the service can be slow when busy it's definitely worth the wait

NO STARS FOR THESE GUYS. TODAY AFTER PICKING UP A £35 ORDER FOR MYSELF AND WORK COLLEAGUES, WE FOUND A STAPLE (THE KIND THEY USE ON WOUNDS) IN OUR FOOD. WE WERE FOOD SHORT WHICH THEY REFUSED TO RECTIFY TOO. ON THE PHONE WE WERE TOLD IF WE CAME DOWN WITH THE STAPLE THAT THEY WOULD GIVE THE MISSING FOOD TO US, REPLACE THE FOOD THAT HAD THE METAL IN AND GIVE SOME FREE FOOD AS A GOODWILL GESTURE. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE AS THEY ONLY REPLACED THE FOOD THAT HAD THE STAPLE, WHICH WAS THEN FOUND TO HAVE HARD PLASTIC IN IT. WE THOUGHT WE WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY, SINCE THIS WE HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THEY ONLY HAVE A 1 STAR HYGENE RATING. WE FEEL ROBBED, THE REPLACEMENT FOOD WAS BINNED AND THE WHOLE ORDEAL HAS MADE US FEEL ILL.
