Absolutely love this restaurant booked dinner for 2 called ahead to see if they can maybe do a little something for partner as it was her birthday turned up on the night and was blown away by what the staff done ,roses, chocolates and a birthday card amazing my partner loved all of it a special mention to sammy she looked after us on the night cant thank her enough and the chef for amazing food .

Pizza was delicious and the pistachio canolo was absolutely amazing the best I’ve had. The service was also very good, attentive and welcoming.

Carbonara - Sin parmigiano encima de la pasta. Creo que en lugar de yemas de huevo había crema espesa. Pizza prosciutto e funghi - no hay prosciutto pero jamón, muy poca salsa de pizza de tomate, la pizza estaba muy seca. .

This is an absolute gem of a fabulous restaurant in Argyle Street Glasgow. Food is amazing and the staff are so friendly. The chef is first class💯 Second time we’ve been there and definitely will be going back👌10/10 👌💚

Visitamos este restaurante sin reserva en una noche muy ocupada. Se las arreglaron para encajar en una mesa justo en la parte trasera del restaurante (inodoros en un lado, salida de incendios en el otro, pero esto no hizo absolutamente ninguna diferencia para todo el ambiente y la experiencia). La comida era increíble, el servicio era impecable. Este lugar es una pequeña joya entre los muchos restaurantes de la zona. La próxima vez que visitemos Glasgow sin duda vamos a reservar aquí.

Visited here today with a groupon meal someone bought me for xmas the food was beautiful and the lady serving us was so lovely and totaly looked after us will definately be back and it tasted all the better as it was bought for me so didnt pay for it apart from a supplement of 4 pound as i wanted something that was dearer good wee lunch out

We had a fantastic meal for my mums 86th birthday. Service was fabulous. Very attentive and gave my mum card and chocolates for her birthday. Made her birthday very special.

Muy decepcionado con este restaurante, orden mal dos veces, el servicio muy pobre, aprecio que estaba ocupado, sin embargo, la actitud del personal era pobre rozando la grosería. Pedí tiramisú de postre y nunca he probado nada tan malo! El chef aparentemente usó sal en lugar de azúcar, sí, los errores ocurren, pero realmente! Fue retirado de la factura, pero no pudieron deshacerse de nosotros lo suficientemente rápido, dado que trabajo en hostelería y conozco la industria, estoy realmente triste por la falta de servicio al cliente.

Very disappointed with this restaurant, order wrong twice, service very poor, I appreciate that it was busy however staff attitude was poor bordering on rude. I ordered tiramisu for dessert and have never tasted anything so foul!! The chef apparently used salt instead of sugar, yes mistakes happen but really !!!! It was taken off the bill but they couldn’t get rid of us quickly enough, given I work in hospitality and know the industry I am truly saddened by the lack of customer service.

Called in as it was past dinner time and rush was over and we had just travelled from Oban for an event...can't say anything to really do it justice, food was absolutely delicious..and so so tasty, salad beautifully prepared a wonderful treat ...the service welcoming, warm and so friendly. Nice decor giving the place the Italian feel. Waitress was very attentive. Garlic bread starter was a bit disappointing. Was expecting more than a sliced medium cut packet bread with a bit of garlic spread over. Lasagna for main was tasty , well presented probably could of done with a bit more garnish. Visited on a Monday night so very quite inside. Would I go back? No.

Visitamos un sábado por la noche y llamamos por teléfono para decir que estábamos llegando tarde debido al tráfico. Cuando llegamos al restaurante estaba lleno y había varias personas esperando en la entrada. Como no había mesa para nosotros y nos dirigíamos a un espectáculo, nos estábamos preocupando. Sin embargo, fuimos capaces de mirar el menú mientras esperaba y estábamos listos para pedir cuando se sentó unos 10 minutos más tarde. Podíamos ver la cocina y ver y oír al chef. Fue bueno escuchar que era italiano y nos dio confianza de que la comida sería realmente italiano. No decepcionó. Teníamos carbonara (tanto fresca como sin gluten) que era precioso, un risotto de setas, igualmente encantador, y canelones y también una focaccia de romero que estaban deliciosos. El chef estaba increíblemente ocupado, pero aún así logró producir platos muy sabrosos. El hecho de que el restaurante estuviera tan ocupado demuestra lo popular que es el lugar y con mucha competencia en la zona que es un gran logro. A pesar de que se les echó de menos, el personal siguió siendo amable y eficiente. Espero que volvamos. Gracias.

Lo prometí mucho. Mi familia todos pidieron platos de pasta que parecían encantadores y disfrutaron de ellos. Opté por la bandeja de "atrapada del día" maltrecha. Tengo que decir que fue realmente horrible. Tenía un plato de patatas fritas tibias que tenía un puñado de ensalada en el lado que parecía que había sido raspado del fondo de la nevera, sin aderezo y bastante poco apetitoso. La 'captura del día' consistía en cuatro trozos de pescado del tamaño de una picadura con la piel puesta y una montaña de calamares rebozados tirados en la parte superior. Estaba seco e insípido, no sazonado en absoluto y absolutamente no vale la pena el precio. Tal vez debería haberme quedado con buena pasta pasada de moda y probablemente le habría dado una gran crítica, pero pensé que podría ser bueno probar algo diferente. Lección aprendida. Muy muy decepcionante.

A lovely last minute booking, highly welcomed even though the place was full. Dinner for 12 was served with a smile, on time and with an open kitchen which gives comfort. Nothing is a hassle, traditional hospitality at its best. Would go back anytime.

To be honest we did not had the chance to have dinner here. The reason i write this review is the way we been treated at the door. It was two of us there was a table of 3 available at the window and 2 tables of 2 further down. And they refused to give it to us with the excuse there was a party coming. If there was a big party coming why the tables not together? At the moment glasgow is very bussy and they obviously wanted to keep the table incase bigger groups came in. When we arrived they said one minute we will sort you out, then it was well withint two minutes when i spoke to the manager his answer was well will be closer to 15-20 min before you have a table. I really dislike places like this who do not want to serve parties of two while obviously tables are available.

Came for for a bite after a long day. The place had a quaint and welcoming atmosphere, if a little small. Had the lasagne, which was quite possibly the best lasagne I've ever had, not to mention it was a good portion. Garlic bread was ok. My friend ordered the Marguerite pizza, which was quite large but delicious all the same. Interesting that they didn't have Tartufo as an dessert, but everything else was great! Would return again if I'm ever in Glasgow.

Well worth a visit, staff are friendly and our waitress was exceptional to be perfectly honest. Food was great, one steak was overcooked, but this was replaced with no questions asked. All other meals were said to be perfect 👌 I'd recommend a visit if you are in the area for sure

The service was very good. The food was extremely tasty. However I was a little disappointed that I was charged the full price for the two courses when we explained that it was too much for my friend to eat. Also soft drinks are a bit pricey.

Dined last night before event at hydro, it was a tight squeeze in restaurant as tables very close together. I ordered the cannelloni and I found it dry and not very tasteful, however my sister ordered a pasta dish with prawns and pistachio nuts and this was very nice so perhaps I was just ordered wrong however I will not return as I prefer a little bit of space and not getting chair pushed throughout my meal.

We had lunch at Villa Toscana while visiting Glasgow University. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. The place was spotless and the staff were very attentive, welcoming and efficient. I'm so happy we stopped there. It was 5 of us and we all had different meals and starters. They sorted us out in no time. We had a great meal and a lovely experience. Thanks Villa Toscana.

Haven't eaten for years as rarely in this area. We took a chance and were lucky to get a table. Service was very cheerful; and prompt. we ordered a bottle of the house red without querying it - it was a Hardy's shiraz, which would not have been my choice, but it was EXCELLENT with our food! I had the arancini and my wife the bruschetta to start, then the pachheri ragu and the lasagne to follow. After that there was no room for a sweet! Food was full of flavour, good sized helpings, and very fairly priced. We must return soon!
