Their [battered] Haggis suppers are amazing. I've had haggis a few places and nowhere is as tasty and delicious as Victors. Not many kept in the hot cabinet, so it is often cooked to order, well worth the small delay. That with proper chippy-chips, and a half cheese and onion pizza is fantastic. Highly recommended.

After a long journey home I decided to visit this establishment. Even though it was an hour from closing they decided to tell me that they had no food and were closing soon. Poor poor service.

As my title suggests. We bought two hamburger suppers but straight away we could see from the colour that actually it appears to be cheap beef burgers that they are selling advertised as hamburgers. It tasted horrible. The only good thing was the chips and the batter especially was outstanding ! It's a shame that Victors are doing this because they have always been one of the best chippy's in East Kilbride and I would hate to see them closed down. I hope they do the right thing before it's too late.

It had been a while since I'd frequented Victors in East Kilbride. My memories were it was the best chippy in the area. Not any more. I ordered a large fish supper. Not cheap, but sure it was worth it. When I got it home, I was almost salivating at the prospect of eating it. What a disappointment! Hard end-bits for chips. Possibly half of what I remembered of their generous portions. Two very thin pieces of fish, coated in tasteless, thick batter. Not cod, or haddock. Possibly Tilapia, or Pollack. So very disappointed in Victors. I won't return. It is misleading customers with cheap, white fish;at cod prices.

Victors was always an institution in East Kilbride so after a really nice night out, we thought we would finish it off in traditional style with a black pudding supper. Well I'm afraid we would have been far better settling for a slice of toast after we got home because it wasn't just the quality of the cooking that was poor, the ingredients were very much bargain basement at restaurant prices. We've lived in East Kilbride for many years (too many to mention) but we won't be back

Ordered chicken pakora with sauce, specificlly stating sauce as they have delivered pakora before without the sauce. Let down again. Phoned them to explain and told did the guy not say there wasn't any sauce, I said "no". "What do you expect me to do about it?". There is a opening in the market here, all you need to do is deliver what you offer and you'll have a successful business and put these types of business out of business.

After working a nine hour shift, the last thing I wanted was going home to cook. So decided to drop into Victors for Fish Suppers, as it's on my way home and hadn't been to Victors for a few years. A fish supper and a small fish supper...£11.50! But was looking forward to it. What a disappointment when I got home........the fish was cold......well what there was of it! The batter was inedible as it was cold and solid, you could harldly get a knife through it! The fish had obviously been sitting under the heat lamps for goodness only knows how long. From now on whichever chippy I go to I will be asking for freshly cooked fish even if there is some ready. But I doubt if I will be returning to the Victor!

Decided having tried all the local pizza outlets in East Kilbride to return & try the Victor after many years. I done so having seen they have new fancy company printed pizza boxes & a nice website.I used to order weekly on a Friday or Saturday night as Victor deliver until 2.30am (Beware though they do ramp the prices up of all food by as much as 50p per item).Looking at the menu, a plain cheese pizza is £6.50 & a pizza with everything is £8.50 with options in between. Since when did Victor start thinking they were a premium food outlet? The pizza prices are shockingly expensive now & no better than any other chip shop in East Kilbride. To put it in perspective, Marini's chippy in East Kilbride is only about £4.50 - £5 for a plain cheese pizza. This makes Victor easily around £1.50 - £2 overpriced per pizza. As it was, Victor charging the extra £1.50 - £2 doesn't translate to the pizza being superior in any way to any other chippy in East Kilbride. The pizzas were still bland & tasteless & taste exactly the same.No greaseproof paper put in the pizza boxes under the pizzas like the old days. Also no greaseproof under the portion of chips. This can only be Victor East Kilbride trying to save money & cost cut.The pizza boxes look brilliant with the company name & contact details. It makes the pizza look premium, but don't be fooled folks. It's overpriced, bland & tasteless & the same can be had from any other chippy in East Kilbride much cheaper.Victor East Kilbride, it may say born in 1965 & still going strong. It's really been providing underpar food since 1965 & only going strong due to catering for the drunken late night customers coming out the clubs & pubs in East Kilbride. One to avoid!

The delivery driver couldn't even open the entrance door buzzed several times ended up going down to open the door. Food was freezing cold and think something was sat on the pizza boxes as you can see from the photo. I was that hugry i just stuck in the oven. No reply from the branch but customer service gave me 2 large pizza vouchers no idea if il use as i never enjoyed the pizza.

Greasy and overpriced. Worst chip shop in Hamilton. £11 for a soggy fish and about 10 chips. Suppose they have to charge that to be able to stay open. Owners are so rude. They were arguing and swearing to a customer who came in behind me because they gave them the wrong order. So unprofessional. Save your money and time and go elsewhere. The dog enjoyed the fish supper but he eats anything. Toast it is 👍🏼

Went here last night because my usual chippy cafe zucchini was closed and I wish I hadn’t. Had to give at least 1 star but I would give it no stars if I could Chips where greasy - black pudding batter was like cake and soggy and thick and the paper stuck to it - fish batter wasn’t any better - £20 straight in the bin - would not recommend this place - EVER - go along the road a bit to the chippy on the corner of the bowling green - always fresh and delicious

Waited over an hour and a half to receive stone cold, average food. Won’t be ordering again. When we called to find out where it was we were told they were extremely busy and few drivers on. Well, don’t take orders you can’t fulfil in a reasonable time and to a decent standard.
