Use you a lot. Get rid of Uber as they delivered to another place 3 miles from us. Really let you down. Won’t be ordering again

Gone downhill since our last visit. Ordered Fishcake & chips and fish & chips. Fish batter tasted saturated in oil like it had been there all day and the fishcake was poor quality. Refused to take card saying cash only. Will not use again.

Food was cold and batter was soggy chips were not very nice. They had a lot of black eyes and bruises on them I asked for a lot of salt and vinegar and there was hardly any seems to calm down hill a little bit from the last time I went joking

Went there last thursday - fish and chips, plus the old traditional fruity curry and chips. Bit of a carb overload for 2 of us - but bought so many old memories. Also well done to the owners - they do a lot of charity work in whitchurch and feed the homeless on christmas day every year.

Regular (Youngers) closed, tried Victoria, big mistake, greasy soggy chips, sausage not great, batter like leather....awful....avoid, its not very good. Seems to be a kebab shop rather than a chippie poss why......shame as used to be good.

Average food apart from the so called spicy curry sauce which was awful. Served by a rather impatient, rude member of staff ( in front of my wife despite the manager/owner being present)......It was a rather quiet time of day but the guy behind the counter did not seem to have enough patience to deal with a customer who is a little hard of hearing. I had been looking forward to using the Victoria Fish Bar but they have failed to deliver in both the quality of their food and the attitude of their staff.

Popped in earlier for a Large Mixed Donner Kebab. Very friendly atmosphere in there, and I must say if ever Naz wants to branch out into comperering after dinner events, he has the perfect patter for it. Whilst being served a young lad came in for a cheeseburger meal, he didn't want salad or tomato sauce, despite Naz's best efforts. Made me smile all the way home. Oh and as usual the Kebab was delicious

Popped in earlier for some food, had a very nice Chicken Curry Rice and Chips. Excellent value for money. Will definitely visit again and will recommend you to friends and family

Called in midweek for quick pie and chips as busy out and about......disappointed, when got home chips very soggy and not great...... poss as they use polystyrene trays ? not great, would not return. shame.

Great chip shop lovely food and lovely people . These guys are the best they even open the shop On christmas day to give free food to the homeless and people in need well done guys big respect to you.

Dijeron que sí, no hay problema, esperé, me los entregaron y volví a preguntar ¿te aseguraste de hacerlos más crujientes? Dijeron que sí.Las patatas fritas eran como pan jajaja. Empapado, no crujiente, muy decepcionado.No volveré.

Don’t know what other people think but I’ve never had a bad meal here. Call at least every 2 weeks. Always order my haddock it’s cooked fresh have to wait but that’s because it’s fresh chips always hot and plentiful. Staff very friendly and social. Always very busy so that should show you how good it is.10 out of 10

My absolute favourite chip shop. The staff are very friendly and the food is always good. Large portions so good value for money. It can get a bit busy and parking can sometime be difficult. Worth it though!!

I have been coming to the Victoria Fish bar for more years that I want to remember! Before I married my wife, while walking from home to the old MONICO cinema in Rhiwbina, we always stopped for some fish & chips or scotch egg etc. Although we no longer live in Whitchurch, whenever the family ancy some fish & chips or pie/chips etc, then I go here. The ‘new’ owners (who have now been there for years!) are wonderful. Very professional, friendly and serve top rate chips and the variety of extras. THANKS GUYS - RECOMMEND.

Lush fish - crispy nice batter with gorgeous white fish instead, lush chips too - crispy and soft , just how they should be . Prices are amazing too . Definitely going back: lovely meal

Real chippy taste and quality, quick service and good value (friendly too!). Our order came to just over £20 for 4 people and they threw in a family sized bottle of Diet Pepsi. We will be back!

Great chippy and more. Chicken good as are the chips. But if you like fish look out for the bones last three trips there all ended up the same. Cod with loads of decent sized bones still in it. Please be more careful.

Después de decir que no volvería a llamar, aquí se cometió un error, dándoles otra oportunidad de que no solo hubiera tenido grandes salchichas fritas salchichas, no era una gran prueba de papas fritas, pero el precio 1. 50 para salchicha tuve Newport mismo para 1. 10 fichas creo que 2. 00 para la pequeña porción otra vez en Newport que tenía para 1. 35 así que aquí 3. 50 que es caro sólo para chips de salchicha

Having been here before and gave it good review this time wasnt the best chips were not great and large sausage had funny taste and was not hot wont be returning

What do you want from a chippy? Good quality food, good portions, good prices, no naff gimmicks. And served by friendly staff. It's a formula that seems to elude too many chippys but not the Victoria.

It's excellent. We had fish and chips. Absolutely brilliant. Lovely friendly staff. We will definitely be going here again.

I have been here on few occasions to try different items from the menu and every time I have been disappointed by the standard of food. The staff there are not very pleasant and I found it difficult to understand what they were saying due to their poor communication. This fish shop is also very busy at time and the wait can be extremely long. The shop is cramped and not ideal. The chips have a weird taste and are not tasty. The fish is poor as the batter is soggy and the fish is cheap and poorly cooked. The chicken burger is the worst burger I have ever had, it is so foul that I could not eat it. I feel uncomfortable here and the food is poor, would never go here again.

Great place use it all the time, love the chicken Kebabs... People in the shop are very friendly and you can run to pre order your food, great variety.

The fish and chips are delicious and served by friendly staff.The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. A big plus is that they open on a Sunday evening.i would not hesitate to recommend the Victoria Fish Bar

This is our favourite Cardiff fish and chip shop. The staff are friendly and the quality of the product is good. The prices are reasonable as well.

The Victoria Fish has been in Whitchurch for what seems like for ever and is as popular as ever. However on the occasion we visited I came away a bit disappointed. The Fish and Chips were only luke warm and there were some bones in my fish. I also felt my 'Large' Cod wasn't that large. I think the time we visited may have played a part as they seem to be packing up. Next time we'll visit earlier.

The food is ALWAYS very good and staff polite and courteous. Best chip shop around by far! Never disappointed.

Great fresh large fish pieces and perfect batter and chips with curry sauce were excellent in the typical British way.

We visited for the first time after seeing the tripadvisor reviews, we used to live in Whitchurch but had never recalled seeing the place, its hidden down the side street near the fox and hounds. This place really does have plenty of choice, they have the full range of chip shop options plus kebabs (only doner as far as I'm aware) as well as fried chicken and slushies. I had kebab and chips, the garlic and chilli sauces were nice and salad all really fresh, my wife had chicken breast and chips, the chicken breast was huge so it's good quality, the chips were ok, not the best I've had but good enough and in decent portions. We always went to top gun previously but it's gone downhill since it changed ownership so this is one of the new options for us on the rare occasions we want chippy, I'm sure we'll be back.

Popped here for the first time after a day at the football. The chips were lovely with a very good portion. My partner had a battered sausage which was really soggy. He ate it, but he was hungry.

Good place, no pun intended, all the fish looks good. Many dining option in food as you would expect these days. All cooked very, and, fit is worth walking past the shop just for the aroma, which of course is free.

Great choice of food. The staff are friendly and efficient and it looks very clean. The chicken curry was lovely other family members had fish and kebabs . Everything was stunning.

Have visited here a few times and each time has been fab. The guys who work there are from a mix of places but mainly from pakistan. They always have interesting stories if you ask them! They particularly like hot hot sources! !

Had fish and chips from the Vic last night. Fish was fresh, batter crispy and of a good size. Chips were best I've had for a long time. Very busy but lots of servers so didn't wait too long. Best chippy in North cardiff now.

Went there tonight following reading reviews on here and found it to be best chippy we've been to in ages. Chips cooked to perfection and everything tasted good. Portion size is spot on. First time we've been in a chippy that has different types of curry sauce! We will be back!

We've had lots of fish and chips from various places in Cardiff. This is the one we go back to regularly (at least once a month as our waistlines attest). Aside from some great, and generous sized, fish and chips, our favourite are the kebab 'wraps' - one of these (chicken or mixed) is a meal in itself. Prices good too. Staff always very friendly. Food fresh and hot.

Never had bad takeaway here lovely chips always freshly cooked , and portion size is excellent . Well worth travelling to get there even though I have 3 chips shops near me this one is well worth driving to . Lovely friendly staff
