Vex Vegan Cookery in Preston

Closed, taken money for cooking lessons and cancelled, not been refunded. Had happened to a lot of people unfortunately.

one of the worst experiences i have had and the woman called Mary is known for this! Booked our class as a prize to give away to people in our office, we were asked to pay a deposit of £100. The class was cancelled, the money was never returned and we never received an offer to re book. Unfortunately having read reviews on both Facebook and other social media platforms, the woman who runs this is known for this and plenty other scams. Stay away!

Paid for a Vegan Cookery Course before Christmas as a gift! Quick to take my money and then very poor contact afterwards....and then NO CONTACT! Vex Vegan have also been on a website for raising funds for new business ventures (Kickstarter) and disappeared after raising £286! Not sure if they're still in business but please be careful if you are looking to book 1 of these non existent courses!

We had afternoon tea and the food was absolutely gorgeous! (Especially the cheese and onion pie and chocolate mousse with raspberry!) Would definitely recommend to anyone, vegan or not! Will absolutely be returning here!

We ate in after enjoying the takeaway food previously. As expected the food was fantastic, really tasty, great portion size and very good value. We had a 5 course meal and drinks for £20! Would highly recommend! Both the setting and service were really quirky, we loved it, added to the whole experience. Gorgeous place full of character really added to the experience.

My two daughter's went here as a treat to learn vegan cookery skills and recipes. I had two extremely happy full daughter's at the day. They had an amazing time, thoroughly loved it. They brought loads of superb food home and are excited to have ago with their new learned skills. The most used phrase in the car on the way home was, wow that was amazing It was great value, and I highly recommend

1st time I have used this outlet...I’ve not had a cheese and onion pie since I went vegan, but had a delicious one from Vex last night! I didn’t want gravy, and was treated to a very tasty portion of slaw instead.
