Absolutely delicious 😋 small plates of yumminess bit pricey but so worth it

Lovely relaxing place with Italian menu. Great for eating outside. Quite pricey but worth it.

Excellent food. The menu is explained to you if it's your first visit. Great wine list to accompany your food.

To start, I love that they sanitise the tables. Also, delicious food from them as it is heavenly. Deserts are a killer in a good way. Nice atmosphere as the volume for the music is on the background allowing to have a conversation at a decent decibels levels

Best Italian restaurant in Milton Keynes

We dined here on a Tuesday evening and didn't book, however it's wasn't overly busy. It's a cute little restaurant hidden down one of the many alley walkways of the main street. There were only 2 servers but we never felt neglected. They serve smaller portion sizes so you can mix and match. We ordered 6 or 7 starter items and it was sufficient for the 3 of us. We enjoyed all the dishes we had. We then moved to dessert and the pistachio panacotta was divine!!! Wasn't so impressed with the tiramasu, the sponge fingers were dry. Overall was a lovely restaurant with friendly service and good food.

Everything was very good, but it took a long time to take our food order and, above all, the food took a long time to arrive.

Husband and I went to Vero this evening with 2 kids, the waiter named Massi serve us, he is nice and funny. The food and drinks were amazing.

I've been to similar places where you get multiple small dishes and share as a group, however this place is a joke. The portions are ridiculously small, expensive and can't be shared. For example we ordered the meatball dish, it was a cup with 2 meatballs in it! Couldn't exactly share that between 3 people and there was a lack of cutlery to even do so. Quality of food and staff were subpar. I would avoid!

We love the cicchetti (aka Italian tapas) style of eating which we’ve enjoyed elsewhere (in London) before. Vero (“True”) do it very well - and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I started with the Triangoli Scamorza - little fried triangular ravioli - which were delicious but could’ve been hotter. We also shared Arancini which were bloody perfect! I had Mediterranean Pasta, absolutely delicious, and my companions had the Gorgonzola Papardelle, Asparagus Risotto and Sea Bream. We also ordered veg accompaniments - you need these as the dishes are small (by design) but we were totally satisfied at the end. I don’t usually have desert, but I’m so glad I did tonight: we all agreed it was the best tiramisu any of us have had: not sloppy! And not too dry. Just perfect, with a slight (sufficient) hint of alcohol. Thanks!

Last weekend, dining at Vero felt like a blissful escape to Lake Como. The charming atmosphere, enhanced by amazing weather, created an idyllic setting. The food was a symphony of authentic Italian flavors, each dish prepared with impeccable attention to detail. The service was warm and attentive, adding to the overall exceptional experience. Bravo to the owners and their team for crafting such a unique and exquisite destination!

Really enjoyable meal. The food was delicious and service was excellent. So lucky to have this on our doorstep. Looking forward to visiting again.

Never been here before and needed perking up after a funeral. Hadn't booked but for the two of us that wasn't a problem. Their portions are advertised as big tapas yet didn't seem undersized on the table. In fact, two courses each sufficed. Whatever we chose was well-presented and tasty. The bill including beers and bread came to a modest £54. Very impressed by Vero. Well done guys.

Amazing place, atmosphere, service and food

The food was fantastic. Every plate was amazing. We had such a great time here and will definitely be back!

Brilliant food in a lovely space, the pasta sizes were brilliant for combining with lots of small plates. The spinach and walnut aranchini and the Vero carbonara were standouts but there wasn't a dull note on the food we tried!

***I must write an update, as the restaurant re-branded from Greek to Italian cicchetti (little dishes) and although the food is good (overall tasty, but the rice in arancini was very undercooked and the breadcrumbs on veal were the kind that you can buy in the supermarket), the staff and the atmosphere is great, it’s no longer a good value for money as it’s very pricey. The bill was £110 for eight small dishes and one desert and we left peckish 😐 (photos from the new restaurant attached*** Little gem! Absolutely amazing! Staff very friendly and helpful. I had my birthday get together there and it was such a joy! The food is super tasty, extremely good value for money, decor really fashionable; everything is just superb. Totally recommend it

Beautiful Venetian restaurant in Stony Stratford. Lovely interior with delicious food and drink and very friendly staff. Love all the small portions so you can order many plates to share! Would highly recommend this gorgeous restaurant.

I visited the restaurant for the first time this evening. Great atmosphere, it was very clean, and had lovely staff members. Unfortunately, the portions are extremely small. I would suggest ordering two main course meals per person, as the portions are more suitable for kids, which won't be cheap. It was a good experience but only for one time.

Lovely, authentic Italian food. Not cheap, but quality isn't. It was busy when we were there, generally a good sign. Good service from attentive but discrete staff and a nice selection of wines. Try it, you'll like it!

Absolutely beautiful! Joined today for lunch, delicious food, tapas style. Mocktails were just as good. Dessert was perfect to top off the afternoon. Waiters was all lovely, attentive but not overbearing, friendly, good recommendations and prompt service. Would happily visit again.

Food was very nice but portions were ridiculously small. 3 meatballs and a handful of spaghetti, lol. The dessert was lovely - much bigger portion. Feel like they’ve got it the wrong way around!

Came to celebrate GCSE results. Thought we'd try somewhere new & my son loves Italian food. So happy we chose Vero. Lovely little restaurant with really friendly staff. We didn't get the name of the man who did most of our serving, but he was great - reminded me slightly of Brian Blessed! Food was wonderful, we even ordered more, and the desserts were scrumptious too. Everyone was hard pressed to choose their favourites at the end, but the lobster with fresh pasta, the calamari, and the chocolate soufflé were all contenders.

This is a 5-stars all around. The food was out of this world. The food was very authentic and freshly made. The portions are decent and overall tasty. Starting with the drinks, appetizers and main dishes; all a hit. The staff are very friendly and give their opinions about the menu and recommendations when asked. The service was outstanding and the ambiance was very relaxing and welcoming. Love the plants which bring the nature feel. Very cozy and intimate atmosphere. Great date, solo or large party place.

One of our favorites in Milton Keynes- beautiful little restaurant with tapas style Italian. Our favorites include the gnocchi and carbonara. The food is incredible, staff friendly, and ambiance is great!

The food is amazing. The staff are very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The triangolinis... 👏 The asparagus risotto.... Addicted. Can't fault it. Very enjoyable evening. The amaretto sour is pretty damn good, too! Enjoy!

I came here for the first time with a friend last week and we had an amazing time. We ordered lots of food so we could try lots of things and everything we had was absolutely delicious 🤤 At the end of the meal, they brought us a platter with the desserts on so that we could visually see the desserts rather than reading a menu. I thought this was a brilliant idea. Both our desserts were just fantastic, I couldn’t recommended the chocolate soufflé more! We also had a lovely chat with one of the workers who was super friendly, we’d seen her once before when we visited The French Affaire for the first time. We would 100% recommend both of these beautiful restaurants. Thank you again 🙂

We sat outside for an evening meal. Service was friendly and reasonably efficient considering how busy it was. The food was incredible, particularly the burrata! It was the most authentic-tasting Italian food that I have had in a very long time.

Came here for my friends birthday, staff were lovely and very attentive. The food is absolutely gorgeous! And the drinks were amazing. Had the best evening. Would highly recommend to anyone and we will be back! The fried mozzarella balls were to die for!! And the limoncello pana cotta was so refreshing and light! I feel this could be our new fav spot!

Vero 🙏🏻 Unreal how tasty these small plates are, like a tapas but higher class. Thrilled the owners have rebranded and improved miles beyond known potential! Such a stunning restaurant in a great location, made me feel like I was on holiday😅 Loved the choice of music! Clean and fine dining! My partner and I had the Gnocchi & chicken, shredded beef with parmesan, brucetta, olives and rosemary roast potatoes. Each dish was unbelievable. Next time we visit we are definitely going to be having a glass of wine 🍷 see you again soon😌

Really enjoyed our first experience at Vero. We chose a couple of dishes each, with a bruschetta also, and enjoyed every mouthful. Was more than enough, and we left feeling nicely full, but not too much. The wine was lovely, and the deserts are always great from this team. And the staff were excellent. Fist time visiting. Late lunch with my family. So they are part off Kobe, French Affaire. So it's an Italian Tapas; small plates. Service was hit and miss. Dishes are well presented, lack a bit of salt, on quite a few dishes. I left my maincousre, as it was a bit too bland for me, they asked if I wanted anything else instead but I declined. They did take the dish off the bill. My boyfriend's scallops (2), was delicious. Music was also too loud, for my liking.

On the plus side, the food is very tasty and the staff friendly. I understand this is a tapas restaurant, however the food is over priced for the portion size. Also the tables are very close together. There is no way to have private conversations. Overall it is an ok experience

Really great 'small plate' food. Very nice atmosphere (definitely 'intimate') The service was good, and very polite, but not fully 5* as we did get forgotten a couple of times. This didn't detract from an otherwise very enjoyable meal.

Exceptional meal at Vero's last night. The food was so fresh and cooked to perfection, the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and the service was super friendly and efficient. Mocktails were superb too. Can't wait to head back soon!

Came at 17:00 on Sunday and it was closed.

First try of Vero today. Warm enough to sit outside in the evening, welcomed by a lovely host. The food was amazing, great cocktails and wine choice, Italian (Venetian) style tapas dishes, we had 5 dishes between two and a dessert and it was just right. Loved Vero and will definitely go back. Thanks team!

Friday supper for 3. We had a whole range of small plates and the food was great. Cocktails are awesome too! I highly recommend Vero and their cocktail of the same name.

Regrettably leaving one star as the food was the only thing that was ok. We were kept waiting 1 1/2 hrs for food. And although it was nice, there wasn't much of it. We weren't served together, meals came out individually about 10 minutes apart. Initially, we decided to have a dessert but by the time we were asked if we would like one, it was all too late. We were compensated with a free drink but sadly, this didn't cut it either. To add insult to injury, they overcharged us and after some considerable amount if time dissecting it with the manager, we were pleased to leave. First expetience, absolutely last.

We went to Greek Affaire last night, first night out for me in a long time. There were quite a few of us. Friendly waiter but meals too around 1.30 hrs to come out with some if girls finished their meals before others started. I had Mousakja, nice but so small, ii thought it came with salad... which for me would have been at least lettuce cucumber and tomato. There was a tablspoon size of lettuce. It was shocking for the cost. We did get a discount for saying that we were not happy with meal or service but our friends were over charged. Lots of confusion and the manager came out and was not really happy to agree with my friends bill being over chargef. Shocking wl mot be going back and unfortunately will not be reccommending

Had a birthday dinner with friends, good food, great service, cost reasonable. Lots of different foods something for everyone. Would recommend.

Beyond Amazing!!! We had been let down by another restaurant for a large family party to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday. With short notice we contacted Greek Affaire in Stony Stratford & spoke to Rocky who came to our rescue. He took total control of the party, from welcome drinks to our amazing waiter & waitresses, they couldn't have done more & made her 40th a total success. The food was out of this world, I literally cant fault them on anything and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any occasion. A big thank you to Marios who was such fun & both lovely waitresses who couldn't have done more. THANK YOU ALL...and we will definitely be returning xxx

Visited here for birthday and can absolutely say it was amazing. The service was impeccable and literally all dishes were served with a smile. The atmosphere was great and food beverages was on point for price. Unusual for me …but I just couldn't fault it! Can't wait to go back thank you !
