The food, drink and atmosphere is great, you really won’t be let down and I’m a returning customer but parking seems to be really limited so make sure you park in a proper space. We parked on a nearby road and came back to a PCN despite no red/yellow lines or any nearby signage present prohibiting parking.

Fantastic coffee, fantastic place and fantastic service. We sat upstairs and there is a selection of seating, large tables, high worktop like benches and 2 person tables. The food selection was good, the toasties menu was nice and the cankers and pastries were amazing. If I had one criticism, that was the selection for Kids. The cold drinks are all a bit "fancy", and my kids at least, don't like these kinds of things.

Lovely place! We ordered a selection of things including; hot chocolate, chai latte, ham and cheese toastie, vanilla lava cheesecake, chocolate and raspberry mousse cake and pork and cranberry roll. The vanilla lava cheesecake was particularly good so would highly recommend that but didn't like the pork and cranberry roll, something just tasted slightly off about it but apart from that, would definitely visit again!

I’ve been coming to cabal street for ages, the almond croissants are lovely, and the coffee is great. It really isn’t the destination it was due to the parking issues though There’s now no space for parking and there’s a hawkish parking company involved with the site, even if you think you’re parked and followed the instructions you aren’t and you’ll be ticketed. I just don’t go now which is a real shame.

This is a lovely coffee shop with canal views. It has seating upstairs and downstairs with lots of hot drinks on offer as well as smoothies. The cakes and biscuits looked good, but I would have liked to see a lot more selection for the size of this place as it was very busy and had lots of seating. Parking was a little bit of an issue as there wasn't a lot around. However, I noticed in the shop there was a tabley where you can register your car to park.

It’s a great coffee shop with top quality coffee & incredible cakes but BEWARE the risk of parking fines. I’ve just received a £60 fine from CPM (reduced from £100 if I pay now) from visiting on Sept 18th & am dreading another from visiting two days later. There are signs relating to spaces for the Trek Bike shop & nearby residential apartments, but everywhere else is FREE of signage so it looks like you can park. It’s an illusion because you can’t. So enjoy that coffee because depending on where you put your car it might be the most expensive one you ever buy! Apparently there is car park available if you turn left on Glebe roundabout - the roundabout before Canalside.

It's a lovely little cafe that serves nice coffees and it's in a nice location overlooking the marina at Campbell Wharf. My wife and I would come here most Saturdays and enjoy their selection of cakes and tasty sausage rolls, however.... It gets very busy as there aren't many places like this in Milton Keynes (shame on you Milton Keynes). So busy in fact, you wonder why they don't take the empty premises next door and make it a great, decent sized coffee joint with plenty of space. Unfortunately, we won't be coming here anymore as there's nowhere to park (a small array of spaces opposite trek cycles that are always full) and I unfortunately got a parking ticket last weekend which I'm refusing to pay, but MK council say it's clearly signposted (not in the slightest) that Campbell park is a red route or clearway so absolutely no parking on the massive roads that are more than capable of allowing cars to park on the sides... We might pop in if we're walking around Campbell park, but it won't be a destination anymore.

Very laid back, horizontal. Liked it a lot and sitting by the canal, in a sun trap was cool, er, I mean hot. The iced coffee was too cold (DOH) to taste the subtle aftertaste of marmalade, seriously? Tasting notes a bit of artistic license, cheerfully explained in an unhurried way. Did I mention it was relaxed? The car park is not signed well, nor is the vehicle registration terminal, just ask in the Crest Nicholson suite over the road, they have the answers off pat as they sell you a flat......

Great coffee, great food and great service. Only thing that lets this place down is the lack of space- it can get very packed due to how popular it is. Also quite difficult to do some laptop work here as there isn’t much space/plugs to do your work with. If you’re going for the coffee, food and cakes I highly highly recommend. If you’re going for a sit down with your laptop or with friends or just on your own, make sure to go when it’s not so busy as spaces can be quite limited!

Never normally post reviews but the constant price increases of the cookies, muffins and cinnamon twist buns is a joke. When they first opened the cinamon buns were £3, fair enough, they are nice. Then it went to £3.50, ok, cosi livs, inflation and all that. Last Saturday they're now £4. For a normal, muffin-sized cinamon bun/twist. Nearly £10 for two is ridiculous. I know the place is hipster AF but come off it, this isn't Shoreditch.

The cakes from T Sweetmap are a work of art and very reasonably priced. On top of that, the staff couldn't help enough. I emigrated to the states 10 years ago and we came here while visiting family. This coffee shop made me feel like I was home in Brooklyn, the small things are what make it; utilising pillars for small standing spaces, tap water in a big dispenser that you can help yourself to, the split level seating, the industrial feel, the properly staffed barista bar, and the handleless mugs--the ceramics are really nice, a sturdy earthenware that's cool enough to hold but also keeps the coffee hot. To top it off it's dog friendly indoors and outdoors, just not upstairs, the patio seating they have is nice too, a mix of tables chairs and benches overlooking the marina. The coffee is superb, truly the best flat white in Milton Keynes. The chilli cheddar toastie that I had was delicious, the chilli jam has just a lovely level of warmth and the bread they use is herby and complements the cheddar perfectly. The sausage roll is served with an onion chutney and is again, excellent. Everyone else was happy with their toasties and pancakes too (Yank, ham & cheddar, plain). The only suggestion was that a small handful of blueberries or strawberries would've really elevated the pancake. They have coffee to purchase to take home (which I did), dog treats, an incredible selection of cold drinks (so you don't have to be a coffee drinker to enjoy this place!), ice cream in pots or as sandwiches and a tempting selection of cakes and pastries. All of which is locally sourced and made. The detail, seriously, the people that run this place clearly care about what they do and where they are. It's delightful. I've been in MK for 2 months with family, I'm leaving this week and I'm so sad that I've only just found this place. I would've been in most days, to work while looking out over the canal and wharf, and sipping on some truly divine coffee!

Can't really comment for food but between the queue and getting 2 coffees it took 15 mins, peak period and the barista is on his phone, the staff are unbelievably disorganised, why would you not take the initiative to ask the next person in the queue their hot drink to speed the process up and avoid backlog. Disorganised table system they have table 1,2,3 4 inside and outside and upside so staff are walking aimlessly not know which table 4 the food is for. Maybe focus on structure and organisation before latte art.....

Delicious vanilla Lava Cheesecake, made by a star from Great British Bakeoff: The Professionals. Very high standard of coffee, I did notice people mixing up macchiato with the starbucks macchiato (totally different!) But the batista helped them and remade something they'd like instead. For a coffee lover, this place was perfect! With beautiful interior and stunning views of the canal. Felt like I was in London, not MK! Slightly expensive but for good reason! Very, very busy and difficult to park in the area. Cafe itself was very busy too but worth the wait for the cakes. Found the coffee quite bitter, despite being an iced mocha but did match quite nicely with the rich cake. Urgh. The chocolate orange mouse cake was an absolute delight. Chunks of blood orange within it, rich thick outer layer, fresh cream on top to cut through the richness. Would 100% go back for more cakes! Benches outside felt a bit weary of, there was 5 of us altogether and we were weary of that stability once we sat on them.

Had a delightful walk from Olney to Clifton Reynes which was in itself splendid - very friendly locals and even spotted a heron! The pub was very friendly and welcoming - they could not have been more attentive. The food was delicious - actually one of the nicest stews I have ever had and I do not say that lightly! A pity we live 2.5 hours away - what a gem this place is for locals. 10/10
