Good food, service and atmosphere. Would recommend

It’s a very nice place to eat out. Especially liked the starters. Recommend to book table if you’re going on weekends.

Food was very delicious and mouth watering. Waiter, Allan, was very welcoming and friendly. Whole atmosphere was so relaxing and had a lovely evening with my family.

Had an early bday dinner here at 5pm so quite quiet at this time. Was last here a few years ago and food was as good as before. The veggie starters we had were amazing but mains were average. A bit pricey here but worth it for special occasions.

Butter chicken was to spicey hot, onion bhajia where soggy not crunchy, naan was of poor quality and noodles in methi curry, we where very disappointed as was 1st time we had used venue 5

Restaurant offering a large variety of traditional Indian dishes. Attentive and helpful service, I found some dishes very similar and where the sauces covered the original taste of each one a little

Absolutely delicious food and great service. We went as a group and shared a range of starters and mains, as well as a delicious dessert. Every single dish we tried was amazing. All the meat was very tender and flavour filled especially the chicken based dishes and the ribs. The paneer (as a starter and in the palak paneer) was delicious. Also loved the peshwari naan and prawn curry! Chocolate samosas for desert were fantastic too. The venue has a lovely atmosphere and Trushali and Nishu who served us were very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for a lovely night!

0 star I had the unfortunate experience of attending a wedding hosted by family friends at this banquet hall, and I feel compelled to share my frustration with the service provided. As a professional in the industry, I was appalled by the poor level of care and professionalism displayed by the management and staff. The manager, Valy, was completely unfit for her role and lacked basic courtesy and respect for the event hosts. She and her staff seemed completely uninterested in providing proper service, and it was clear they had no understanding of hospitality standards. A major issue arose when Valy and her team secretly reserved food for themselves, leading to a severe shortage for the guests. We had ordered enough food for 100 people, yet fewer than 30 were able to eat, and the food ran out far too early. What made the situation even worse was Valy's blatant disrespect for the elderly. At one point, she actually flung the bill at the person who had booked and paid for the venue. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in an environment where respect and professionalism should be the norm. Since the event in August, there has been no attempt from the management to reach out, apologize, or resolve the situation. Not a single call or email has been made to address our concerns. It’s clear that this venue is poorly managed, and I would strongly caution anyone considering it for their event. The behavior of the staff was shameful, and the lack of accountability from the management is beyond disappointing. We are still waiting for an explanation and a resolution.

Overall rating- 0. Our kindness and politeness has gone unnoticed!! I recently hosted a wedding event at Venue 5 on August 25, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. Valy, the floor manager, failed to demonstrate the necessary skills to manage the event effectively, leading to significant issues that marred our special day. To start, we were left with no food for our mains, despite having paid for a complete meal for 100 guests. The staff’s attitude was equally concerning. They repeatedly claimed there was no food left, only to later reveal that they had hidden portions in the kitchen for themselves. This lack of transparency was not only frustrating but felt deeply unfair, especially after we had invested a substantial amount for our celebration. Additionally, the serving portions were alarmingly stingy. In one incident, a guest requested an extra scoop of ice cream, only to be denied as the staff took the entire carton into the kitchen. This was just one example of the dismissive service we encountered throughout the evening. Valy’s behavior was particularly troubling. She showed blatant disrespect towards our guests, culminating in an incident where she flung a bill at my elderly father. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and the surrounding guests voiced their disapproval, stating that she was unfit for her role. Overall, our experience at Venue 5 was deeply disappointing. Valy’s poor management and the staff’s unacceptable behavior overshadowed what should have been a joyful celebration. I cannot recommend this venue for events, as it seems clear they are not equipped to handle them with the professionalism and respect that all guests deserve.

I recently hosted my wedding reception at this venue on August 25, and unfortunately, my experience was significantly marred by the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the event coordinator, Valy. As a couple, we entrusted the venue to help us celebrate one of the most important days of our lives. While we anticipated a well-organized and smooth event, the day was overshadowed by numerous shortcomings that left both us and our guests deeply disappointed. From the beginning, there were noticeable gaps in communication and organization. Valy, who was in charge of overseeing the event, did not manage the function with the attention and professionalism one would expect at a wedding. We experienced issues with food service that were both unexpected and upsetting. During the reception, our guests were informed that the food was finished, leaving many of them, including close family members, unable to eat. To our shock, we later discovered that the food was actually removed from the service area and taken inside, not because it had run out, but for reasons we could not understand. It took multiple discussions and requests for the food to be brought back out – well after the scheduled meal time. This left our guests waiting unnecessarily and caused disruption that could have easily been avoided. In my line of work within the hospitality industry, I understand the importance of guest satisfaction, clear communication, and efficient service. Valy’s handling of our event did not meet these basic standards. Her responses lacked empathy and the proactive approach one expects from a professional in her role. The handling of the food situation alone caused confusion and discomfort among our guests, which, for a wedding, is simply unacceptable. A wedding is a day that should be marked by joy and celebration, not logistical issues that mar the experience for both the couple and their guests. Additionally, as this incident occurred several months ago, I have had time to reflect on the experience. In sharing this review, my intent is not to discredit the venue as a whole but rather to highlight the importance of professionalism in the hospitality industry. The issues we faced could have been avoided with more attentive service, proactive communication, and a true commitment to customer satisfaction. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this venue if Valy is involved in the management of any event. I hope this feedback encourages improvements for future clients, as no couple should face the challenges we did on such an important day. We hope that by sharing our experience, the venue will take this opportunity to ensure a higher level of service for all future events.

Here’s a breakdown of the experience: Ambience The decor reflects traditional Indian artistry with a touch of modern elegance. From warm lighting to intricate wall art, the setting immediately sets the stage for an immersive dining experience. Great music on a Saturday night from the DJ too! Appetizers We started with the classic lamb samosas, special paneer and chicken lollipop. The samosas were delightfully crisp, with a spiced meat filling that balanced heat and flavour perfectly. The chicken lollipop was juicy and infused with a smoky char, complemented by a tangy yogurt dip. The special paneer had it's own special spices which made it taste so good. Main Courses The karahi lamb curry was bold and beautifully balanced, with tender pieces of lamb and a sauce that had the perfect amount of heat. The spices were just right, allowing the flavours to develop with each bite. Paired with garlic naan, it was truly indulgent. Breads and Sides The garlic naan was fresh and pillowy, perfect for scooping up the sauces. The peshwari naan was fluffy and coconutty. The pulao rice was fragrant, with just the right amount of seasoning. Desserts We finished with gulab jamun and a malteser cheesecake. The gulab jamun was warm and sweet, with a soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture, while the cheesecake was creamy, refreshing, and a perfect end to the meal. Service The staff specifically Thrushali was attentive, knowledgeable about the dishes, and happy to make recommendations based on our preferences. Each course arrived with perfect timing, and the servers explained the ingredients and origins, which added to the experience. Value for Money Given the quality and portion sizes, the pricing felt reasonable. Venue 5 manages to balance authenticity with a touch of creativity, making it worth every penny. Overall Impression Venue 5 offers a fantastic representation of Indian cuisine, where quality ingredients, skilled preparation, and attention to detail come together. We have just had a wonderful dinner at Venue 5, largely due to the service by G1! We have been coming for years but have never had such an attentive, polite and considerate server. G1 was so lovely and I especially appreciate him accommodating our babies (as we asked for less of a gap between courses given kids aren't known for their patience!). The food was great as always :) But it does go to show, a great server can really make a dinner much more memorable!

Lovely venue with fantastic staff. We were served by Trushali who was both polite and efficient. The food was tasty and plentiful. I had the paneer biriani which was presented beautifully, the only downside for me was that it was mainly rice with some sauce whereas personally I would have preferred less rice and more vegetable curry. My friends had different dishes which they enjoyed. Overall, very good and I would recommend.

Went for dinner with family. All was going well till we were served non-veg curry ( we are vegetarian) . But the manager was very considerate and made sure our mains were re-done and served hot.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here. The special mushrooms were absolutely delicious. The place was spotless and the service was exceptional. The perfect waiter, not hovering but there when you needed him. Discreet, professional and kind, Allan is a credit to this Restaurant, all the staff were great but Allan stood out with that unhurried, relaxed attention he so warmly bestowed on us.

We held mum's 65th birthday today and the service was amazing we were looked after by Trushali she was very attentive. The food was amazing we got given a section of the restaurant as we were a large group.

Having looked at other venues, I decided to make a booking for a group of 45 Adults and 10 children for a late family lunch on Saturday 7th September. Had a meeting with Brazly to discuss the menu and costs. Brazley was very helpful and informative with the manu choice and seating arrangement. Krishi and all the waiters were very helpful and the service was excellent. The food was absolutely tasty and hit all the right notes for everyone. We will be back! 🥳 Jay

Have visited twice in a very short space of time and the food was amazing on both occasions! I have been visiting Venue 5 for over 10 years and service is always excellent. I have to say that takeaway orders are not always up to scratch. I got the dried chilli lamb delivered for lunch on a Sunday via deliveroo and it was dry and not rich with sauce like usual and the flavour was lacking. The rice was also not light and fluffy like usual! I felt so disappointed.

I had so many india food but here the taste is amazing. I rated them as excellent and very tasty. I would always recommend. 5/5 in taste, 5/5 in quality. Mavi was execellent in her service. Keep it up

Recipe needs improvement. The butter chicken sauce was very tangy and the palak was bitter & bland. Not happy with kebabs either - very dry. Quality gone down.

I recently had the pleasure hosting a party at Venue5. The food was nothing short of amazing, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. From appetizers to desserts, each course was delicious. The service was exceptional. The restaurant owner and his attitude was not so friendly but the staff (Toyston, Kaishi and Trushali) were not only attentive and efficient but also genuinely friendly and eager to ensure we had a great time. Overall: Venue 5 is a gem with its delicious food, outstanding service, and helpful staff, it's a place I would definitely revisit.

Good food and service however 1 child in our group had a nut allergy and the waitress had no idea what contained nuts. Allergy advice not available on menus either (as far as we could tell). Pretty sure this is a legal requirement.
