Venice in Kirklees

When i first initially placed my order i did not receive my food until 1.5 hours later. When it finally came my food was cold. I called the takeaway and the man was very apologetic and understanding about the situation stating they were really busy and was one driver down and offered to send me my order again ASAP with no extra charge. The second lot of food came within 40 minutes and my food was perfect. I really have respect for takeaways that own up to their mistakes. 5***** great service!

Not quite the same as usual deliveries, not sure who made the pizza on this occasion but it must have been their first go, melted cheese on top of pizza that was already cooked, with cold seafood beneath the cheese.

Got absolutely no idea how these kebabs aren't world famous absolutely out of this world! Fair price too and friendly staff.

It's not nice to say this but it came,the mushrooms smell was of old oil ,the rest just had no taste, I won't be ordering again

Accidently brought us a pizza with chicken on it, gave them a ring, brought us a fresh one 15 minutes later. Zero hassle, friendly chaps and lovely pizza 👌

Thoroughly enjoyed it even the day after!

Only ordered 2 pizzas. Arrived cold, 45 minutes late, called for help after an hour and a half, got the usual response of "it won't be long" no apology and driver couldn't find the house even though he was parked outside my neighbour's. Won't be ordering again

pre ordered my food and was delivered 10 mins before due. food was hot when arrived. food was very nice but spaghetti Bolognese was a bit to Herby for me. garlic cheese bread was perfect ha there burgers before and they are ace too. highly recommend Venice

Was only just warm, not usual standard

Not as good as usual, had chilli it was watery and tasted like vegetarian meat

Disgusting food finally arrived but order was wrong ordered a large donna kebab but got a tray of Donna meat with salad thrown on top not what we ordered Pizza was like rubber had to call 3 times to chase order Will never order from this place again

I moved into Yorkshire 6 years ago and had many just eat meals some ok and some that went into the bin, at last found good fresh, hot and tasty food

Overall food was good but I ordered a chocolate fudge cake with cream and instead was sent a box full of grated cheese. The cream was there though so that’s a plus

Chips were stone cold, the meat in the kebab was edible, but luke warm and the naans were hard from cooling down..Overall was a terrible meal.

Wasn’t happy that I had to wait so long and then the driver rang me and I had to walk right down the road to collect it. Pizza topping fell off pizza when trying to eat it not brilliantly warm either

Food was really nice, Peri Peri burger was a tad overcooked but still edible. Other than that everything was very nice

after leaving a mixed review after using them for years I, naughtily had 2 deliveries this week. Both back on time, piping hot and delicious. Normal service is resumed.

Salad; tinned pineapple, no dressing, 90% onion, undrained lettuce swimming in water. Pizza soggy, topping slide off with every slice, not cut properly, but edible enough, warm, decent size.

Stone cold pizza soggy chips like they’d be driving round for half an hour

Received the wrong pizza. Had too much cheese on it and it was pure oil. Not usually like this, disappointing

So first off the order was late I called the restaurant and they told me 5-10 mins had to call them again 20mins later to find out they had thrown the receipt for the order in the bin so still had to wait another 30 mins for the order to actually arrive

Also the guy dropped the food who came to delivery it and it was all in the bag

The food was absolutely disgusting! Swimming in oil I was starving and left the lot! Messaged to inform about this and been told there’s nothing I can do about it. I had to order another takeaway after as none of it was edible, will never order from here again and will be telling everyone I know never to either, horrebdous.

Beautiful no complaints I had kebab not greasy at all. hubby had chicken wrap he enjoyed it too everything nice and fresh. First time we have had a take away from here will definitely be having another one fully recomend 😆

We ordered two Pizza's and both were almost cold.

Absolutely abysmal. 45 minutes late, burnt chips, and no cheese on chips when i paid for it.

They forgot my sons chips and my sons chicken nuggets so I rang up and they sent some more which took an hour and a half to come leaving the rest of my food cold whilst I had to wait for my sons food further more this has now disturbed his routine leaving my son over tired and very hungry all because u forgot my nuggets and then took ages to bring them. Pizza was cold and had been crushed, chips were cold too. Venice used to be really good but last couple of times it’s been awful I hope it goes back to how it used to be, but I won’t be using it for some time

Absolutely rudeness from the delivery driver my friend ordered it for me it came to 13.50 for half pounder burger and 10 inch pepperoni pizza issued for 2 cans of coke he didn't bring them but was rude my friend phoned up and he said she didn't ask but she said she did and was rude and now got food pizza cold and burger and chips cold Absolutely discusting

Decent food and good meal deals but the staff are very rude, have made me and my partner feel very uncomfortable at times when picking orders up. Wouldn’t go alone as a woman.

Called this takeaway for a simple, uncomplicated order of just A margarita pizza and a kebab. The woman on the end of the phone said it would be a maximum of 40 minutes for delivery, three phone calls and an hour and 40 minutes (100 minutes) later, it still hadn’t turned up. Each time I called back the driver had just set off in a rude and cheeky manner without apology. Incapable of being honest and telling the truth to customers, DO NOT TRUST

I rang them for a takeaway and they started to threaten to come to my house and fight my friend over £1 portion of chips because my friend didn't want nan with his kebab he just wanted chips and they caused a scene. I wouldn't recommend
