New Spice House in Kirklees

Amazing food, this has taken new ownership by a family who are solely running this brilliant restaurant. This is the first time trying this place after the new ownership and definitely the taste and service has improved. Guys don't miss out on this place. The reviews should be a lot higher!

I ordered for collection and it was ready on time when I arrived the food was piping hot too! Will be ordering again 😌

I tried few items pizza, cheesy chips and spicy wings and I must say that all are Absolutely delicious! The pizza crust was perfectly crispy,and the cheese was melted to perfection ,love the generation portion of cheese on chips and the wings were cooked to perfection . 👍

I ordered the Karachi Paratha Roll, and it reminded me of my childhood in Karachi. The taste was authentic and the flavours were just like I remember. A true five-star experience!

Chose this place as we have been staying in the area. Wasnt disappointed. Friendly family run business. Delicious freshly cooked food. Naan bread are huge.

This takeaway has recently been taken over by new owners. We tried a few pizzas at first and they won't brilliant, but thinking it was due to teething problems. Have tried again tonight ordering a couple of curries. Big mistake that was, mine was supposed to be a Keema but have been given a bowl of oil with alittle cheap mince in it and my partner went for chicken masala. The dead Sea has less salt in it than her curry does plus both are very cold. Naan bread was under cooked and garlic bread is also under cooked too. Extremely disappointed with the standard of food and more so as now need to find a new takeaway

Absolutely bangin curries, good price, can’t complain

Ordered chicken ticka kebab large on pitta,it was no bigger than regular and the chicken was not cooked enough,disappointed because been a customer for years.

Friendly staff. Card payments. FAST service, very tasty curry and a really good solid naan.

Dont know what has happened. But it used to be best chicken spinich in huddersfield. And id never had bad curries from this place until last night. UPDATE, Ordered 3 currys last night 23-4-22. 2 x lamb bhuna and 1 x chicken spinich. They was bland no taste or spice to them. A cheap supermarket budget curry for £1 has more spice and taste to it. Just found out it,s under new management

They do not wear face masks or gloves, the place is unclean, and the food is touched with unclean hands

ordered frm here for the first time. Dissapointed by packing. Tightly packed in small bag and food was leaking bag . Naan bread was all soaked up and chicken tikka was even worse. Horrible curry. never ordering frm here again.

Food arrived 20 minutes late and we got the wrong order, when we complained they kept hanging up and we called them three times and they decided to decline, very poor customer service and will never be ordering from here again

We ordered from here tonight 29/3/20. The food was very good and we enjoyed it however unfortunately an itèm namely a can of coke was missed from our order and near impossible to contact by phone after trying several times. We have been to this establishment before and it has been spot on. Maybe this mishap was just an error.

Tried it for 1st time ever as we normally use Ali murad but there getting worse one of staff sneezed in his hands and carried on making naan bread other week so decided try find a good indian nearby..well I've never seen owt like it I'm a big lover of curries but literally there was about 8 pieces of chicken in the size of a 20p piece and it didn't taste like chicken at all had to spit a couple of pieces out that bad..

Chappattis were contaminated with a blue substance. I reported it immediately, had very poor customer service. Will be filling report with council, as they didn't even know they had an obligation to report it.

Nice food but wish staff was more friendly

Delivery was half an hour late, food was bland and absolutely freezing. Rang up and asked to know what happened, really rude on the phone “what do you want us to do about it?” Last few times we got from here was really nice and delivery was early. Not using this place again

Delivery and price is good but the food was reheated to the point it made me feel sick.

Went Into spice house at Waterloo looked at menu decided what we wanted then went to counter. 4 or 5 staff working at the back all looked at us. We waited until they were free to be served, no problem. Phone rang one of the guys immediately left what he was doing to answer the phone while we still waited. What would you do?? We left!! P Very poor.

Haven't used them for years then used them out of the blue. We will definitely be using them in the near future. Everything was perfect and whole family enjoyed it.

Just shocking! Uses to be good but now it's all slap-dash. My usual curry was the blandest I've ever experienced and my hubby's burger was disgusting. Chilli burger?!! Just a load of chilli flakes chucked in it. Donner meat is weird, pizzas leave a greasey layer in your mouth and to top it off staff are ignorant. We've been giving this place chance after chance to get better/ back to how it was but no more! Save your money. Go to Pizza Shack across the road.

Food was tasty delicious and fresh. good value for money and will order again. Recommended to all.

Meal deal 5 Absolutely Disgusting Chips were dry The special mixed naan Donner kebab Americano quatre pounder 2x chips 2x drinks The only thing good about this was the drinks. Everything from the naan to the deep fried seekh kebab to the burnt chicken tikka and dry chips .. not to mention the Americano burger which had raw onions and burnt onions mixed . awful .. 1st time and definitely last time . Will inform family and friends so they don't make the same mistake .

Only used this place as the reviews was good!! Well it's well over an hour and food still not here...phoned to see how long it would be and they was really rude on the phone!! Would recommend people to avoid this place and order somewhere else....100% will never get my custom again

Ordered food at just after midnight. The portions were HUGE!! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. the food came as ordered which was a surprise as takeaways tend to mess up at least one thing from the order.... The Spice House was spot on!! Thank you
