Super Wok in Kirklees

We have ordered food for collection and food was made very quick (10minutes). People there were nice but food really wasn’t. Everything was very greasy, covered in oil and the meat tasted off. We have ordered crispy shredded beef in sweet chili sauce but not sure what did we get as this was for sure not sweet chili sauce (very thin and dark - kinda like soy sauce) beef was very dry and hard - not crispy dry as it should be. This is nothing like what you get in any other shop. Beef chow main - meat was was very dry and with odd colour + loads of oil Singapore vermicelli was aswell very oily and there was more veg than meet/prawns Portions very small for the price we paid We did get a free prawn crackers- not freshly made so it was very gummy

We had a selection for 9 of us and all the food was delicious. I’ve had my ups and downs with it over the years but the last few times have been excellent.

I food a cockroach in my egg fried rice and there was nail clippings in my curry sauce

Pretty nice food, always good flavour. Bit on the pricer side for a take away but always a nice treat!

Having read some of the reviews I did question how much I wanted a Chinese on a Tuesday, but I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised! Tom yum soup was extremely tasty with a spicy kick, the Singapore Vermicelli was equally delicious I would definitely return The shop itself could do with a tidy up and lick of paint but if you can see past that it’s definitely worth a try

Husband poisoned with campylobactor from uncooked or poorly stored meat which has now left him with permanent reactive arthritis.

Worst Chinese meal I have had. About 1/2cm of red grease swimming on top of a special curry. One prawn, three pieces of beef. Swimming in greasy mushy onion gloop. I'm not exaggerating. Terrible

Absolutely disgusting horrible food never ever order from here again £30 quid in the bin .wouldn't even let my dogs eat it .never had a Chinese so horrible

Worst chinese ever,disgusting.Spare ribs were dry, would not feed them a dog , chicken curry greasy would definitely not recommemd

VILE! chicken wings were dry as hell and tasted like they'd been in freezer for a year, crispy beef and crispy chicken was the same and was hollow when bitten into, noodles were dripping in oil and the spring rolls tasted off, they obviously don't change there cooking oil regularly. Worst Chinese iv ever had. Gross

food awful..salt and pepper ribs tasted of freezer burn..chicken the same.. pork fried rice tasteless.. Chips ok.. had to throw everything else in bin.. if had no star rating..would have chosen that.. worst Chinese ever tasted.

Class food doesn’t look too appealing when you drive past but decided to give it a try once and now I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Used to live in Shepley so not been for a few years.. It still has very nice Chinese and Thai food. We ordered satay chicken and special fried rice plus chicken egg foo yong which was tender and very tasty. *Previously you would receive a free bag of prawn crackers though..

Superb, I've been going here for over 10 years and in that time seen it change hands a few times. The take away is definately at it's best with the current owner, he's also very friendly. All the food is delicious, and well cooked. Trust me I've tried over half the stuff on the menu!
